Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 1846 - 1847: Breaking Into the Enemy’s Base
"There’s no future here, come with me." Xiang Yu said earnestly.
Xia Cheng still had use for Xiang Yu. He wanted to use him to find Zhong Min.
"Where can we go? We have no influence here." Xia Cheng thought for a moment and quickly stood up, "Xiang Yu, why don’t you have Xiao Ba’s brothers come over? Once they’re here, we can carve out a piece of territory here."
Hope glimmered in Xia Cheng’s eyes; he was hopeful that Xiang Yu’s team could come over.
Xiang Yu shook his head, "Impossible. We still don’t understand the situation here; bringing them over would be too dangerous."
Feeling disappointed, Xia Cheng exclaimed, "This is great, now we’re just at everyone’s mercy here."
"You can contact Commander Cao," Xiang Yu said lightly.
"Commander Cao now..." Xia Cheng started but swallowed his words, "we’ll have to rely on ourselves."
Xia Cheng sat sullenly on the side, glancing at Xiang Yu, "You better not die on me."
"Don’t worry, I won’t die," Xiang Yu replied with a confident smile.
Around six o’clock in the afternoon, Eck brought a car to a stop outside and hurried in.
"Xiang Yu, let’s head out." Eck was somewhat excited.
At that time, Xiang Yu was calmly polishing his gun, and Tie Zhuzi was snoring, fast asleep.
Seeing this, Eck was at a loss for words; the battle was about to begin, yet the two of them were so calm.
"You didn’t tell anyone else, right?" Xiang Yu looked at him.
Eck shook his head, then went over to Tie Zhuzi and pulled him, "Get up, it’s time to move."
"Let me sleep a bit longer," Tie Zhuzi said with his eyes closed.
"No more sleeping; it’s time for battle." Eck forcefully pulled Tie Zhuzi up.
"Zhuzi, we’re moving out." Xiang Yu stood up.
Upon hearing Xiang Yu, Tie Zhuzi stood up, shot Eck an annoyed look, "You interrupted my sweet dream."
Eck was speechless; Tie Zhuzi had nerves of steel, even thinking about dreaming at this time.
The three got in the car and quietly left the base. However, just as they left, Sirvi emerged from the tent, watched them leave, and let out a few cold laughs.
In the car, Xiang Yu called Xiao Xuan.
"Bro, I’ve scouted the surroundings. The east side of their base is the weakest defensively, but it’s completely exposed with no cover, while the west side has a small grove, but it’s also their most heavily guarded area..."
Xiao Xuan reported what he had found.
Eck listened in front, stunned, not expecting Xiao Xuan to have such skills, being able to check out the situation right under their noses.
"Can we infiltrate from the south?" Xiang Yu posed a hypothesis.
"The defenses in the south and north are a bit more relaxed, but sneaking in wouldn’t be simple; they seem to have a password system." Xiao Xuan said.
"Got it. Keep hidden and don’t act rashly." Xiang Yu hung up the phone right after speaking.
"What should we do?" Eck turned to look at Xiang Yu.
Although Eck was the team leader, he now habitually followed Xiang Yu’s lead.
"We’ll sneak in from the south." Xiang Yu resolutely replied.
"But Xiao Xuan just said it won’t be easy to sneak in." Eck doubted.
Xiang Yu gave a mysterious smile, "That’s why we have you."
Eck was further puzzled, becoming anxious, "Having me doesn’t help anything, I can’t get in either."
"You’ll find out soon enough." Xiang Yu smiled, not saying more.
Tie Zhuzi parked the car at a distance, and the three quietly approached the Blood Alliance’s base.
From afar, the Blood Alliance base was brightly lit, with people noisily drinking outside.
Xiang Yu and the others quietly reached the southern side of their base.
The southern defense was lax but there were still guards on duty.
One guard yawned as he stood, intending to sit and slack off, when he saw a shadow facing away from him ahead.
The guard quickly became alert, took his gun, and approached.
The figure ahead finished urinating, shivered slightly.
The guard was about to speak when that figure turned and asked, "Password?"
The guard hesitated but then recited the password.
The one who peed chuckled, "Thanks for the hard work, brother."
"No trouble, you say the password first." The guard replied cautiously.
"I just came to take a leak, no need to be so serious." The pee guy chuckled and started walking over.
Suddenly, a dagger flew past his eyes, and the guard collapsed, a knife at his neck.
Xiang Yu and Tie Zhuzi silently approached from the darkness. Tie Zhuzi pulled out the dagger and handed it back to Xiang Yu.
It was Eck who pretended to pee; he was stunned, thinking he had handled the guard, only to find Xiang Yu’s dagger did the job.
"You’re quite skilled with that dagger; when can you teach me?" Eck looked at Xiang Yu in admiration.
"You stay here, Tie and I will go in." Xiang Yu sternly instructed Eck.
"No way, I’m going with you." Eck insisted seriously.
"We might need to escape through here, so stand guard." Xiang Yu’s eyes were firm.
"Don’t give me that shit; stand guard here," Tie Zhuzi interjected with a punch.
Eck could only nod, "Be careful, I’ll be here waiting for you."
Xiang Yu and Tie Zhuzi nodded, then headed inside. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
As they approached the tents, four or five drunken men staggered over.
Tie Zhuzi wanted to act with his gun, but Xiang Yu quickly stopped him, "Don’t move."
Tie Zhuzi’s eyes stayed locked on the men; if they were recognized, he would eliminate them immediately.
"The king of heaven covers the tiger," Xiang Yu suddenly shouted.
The four men paused, "I eat field mice."
"Allies," Xiang Yu chuckled, pulling Tie Zhuzi along.
The men glanced at them confusedly, then stumbled off.
"Didn’t that guy seem unfamiliar? And his accent was off?" one of them questioned.
"Must be new; forget it. Let’s pee and get back to drinking," another replied.
The four thought little of it and stumbled off.
"You think they’re ****?" Tie Zhuzi laughed.
"Stay sharp, let’s head around back." Xiang Yu slung an arm around Tie Zhuzi, feigning drunk.
Under everyone’s noses, the two headed away; the distant tents were darker, suggesting people were already asleep...
