Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 1835 - 1836: A Life-or-Death Siege
Initially, Sirvi had planned to wait until Xiang Yu and his crew charged onto the battlefield before moving forward, but shortly after Xiang Yu and his team left, the gunfire in front had already ceased.
He hurriedly rushed over with his men and saw Xiang Yu and the others sitting there chatting leisurely.
Upon seeing this, Sirvi’s expression changed dramatically, and he gritted his teeth, saying, "Is this how you came to support us?"
"When we got here, it was almost over." Eck stood up and said confidently.
"Hmph." Sirvi said nothing more and took the lead walking towards the back.
Eck and Xiang Yu’s group walked at the end.
"Brother, be careful, this guy is narrow-minded, he might make trouble for you later." Eck said.
"Thanks for the warning, I’ll be sure to pay extra attention." Xiang Yu nodded gratefully.
Eck also nodded and smiled faintly, then caught up with the front group, joining their lively conversation.
It was obvious Eck didn’t like this group leader, but they were helpless.
At the moment, Xiang Yu felt quite upset; he had rushed over from a minibus to rescue Sun Bo, but given the current situation, he wouldn’t be free for a while.
"Xiang Yu, let me see..." Xia Cheng came over wanting to say something.
"Don’t bother me." Xiang Yu said coldly.
Seeing Xiang Yu so upset, Tie Zhuzi and Xiao Xuan stood by Xiang Yu’s side and directly dragged Xia Cheng aside.
Xia Cheng was so angry that he glared, pointing behind Xiang Yu, saying, "What’s your attitude?"
No one paid attention to him, everyone was hurrying forward.
Seeing he was falling behind, Xia Cheng quickly glanced around and then caught up.
Back at the base, the atmosphere was somewhat depressing, as if they had lost a battle.
Sirvi returned to the base and first went to the captain’s tent, where several team leaders were already discussing matters.
When Sirvi entered, everyone paused in surprise.
Satman was also startled, then quickly said, "You broke through? How did you manage that?"
Sirvi quickly recounted the process but omitted Xiang Yu’s suggestions, attributing all the credit to himself.
After hearing this, Satman said with great satisfaction, "Sirvi, your command was strong this time. Although we didn’t intercept the cash transport, you saved one of our squads, which is a significant achievement. I will certainly commend you to the brigade commander for this."
Sirvi quickly replied, "Captain, this was just my duty, there’s no need for rewards."
Satman was even more pleased to hear this, he felt gratified to have such capable people under his command.
"But..." Sirvi hesitated.
"But what? Just say what you have to say." Satman said boldly.
"The four newcomers don’t follow orders, and during this mission, not only were they useless, they nearly ruined my plan." Sirvi frowned.
"You mean there’s no point in keeping them here?" Satman asked, puzzled.
Sirvi nodded, "Especially that Xiang Yu, who thinks he’s something special."
"Xiang Yu?" Satman was puzzled, "Aren’t those four led by Xia Cheng? How come Xiang Yu is causing trouble?"
"I’m not sure, but they all seem to listen to Xiang Yu." Sirvi replied.
Satman tapped his chair thoughtfully, while everyone else waited quietly.
"Commander Cao called and said to arrange for Xia Cheng, but didn’t mention the people around him. If the other three cause trouble, eliminating them shouldn’t go against Commander Cao’s wishes." Satman murmured.
Sirvi couldn’t help but smirk, although he didn’t know who Commander Cao was, he reckoned he must be the captain’s superior.
"You’re their team leader, it’s your job to handle it. Except for Xia Cheng, you’re free to deal with the other three as you see fit." Satman said.
Sirvi was pleased to hear this, "Thank you, Captain."
After all, Xiang Yu’s group of four was brought in by Satman, without his orders Sirvi dared not touch them.
Now that Satman had given him the green light, he essentially held the power of life and death, taking out Xiang Yu was merely a matter of his mood.
Meanwhile, Xiang Yu and his group were resting in their room.
Little Xuan looked at Xiang Yu worriedly, saying, "Brother, I feel it’s not good to stay here long, that Sirvi doesn’t seem like a forgiving person. We’ve offended him, we certainly won’t have an easy time."
Tie Zhuzi angrily clenched his fists and snorted coldly, "I think we should just get rid of that Sirvi and see if he dares to act arrogant again."
Xia Cheng, sitting on the side, listened with fear. He quickly responded, "Xiang Yu, I think their attitude is only temporary. We should stay here and observe for a while."
Xia Cheng knows that right now, the situation inside Little Suzhou is chaotic, with various forces intersecting. If they leave, it’s uncertain if they’d make it out alive.
While everyone was discussing, Xiang Yu suddenly noticed someone had surrounded their tent outside.
Without a word, Xiang Yu grabbed his gun and disengaged the safety. In this foreign land, he must remain on guard.
Little Xuan and Tie Zhuzi also grabbed their guns, positioning Xiang Yu at the center.
"Looks like leaving won’t be easy." Little Xuan said coldly.
Xia Cheng was terrified and flung his gun to the ground, shouting, "Who’s out there? What do you want?"
"We’re here on orders from the leader to take people. Xiang Yu, Tie Zhuzi, Little Xuan, you three need to come with us." One of them walked in.
Upon realizing his name wasn’t mentioned, Xia Cheng heaved a sigh of relief and stepped forward with a smile, "Brother, why are you capturing them?"
"You don’t need to be concerned; we’re just following orders." The man said arrogantly.
Xiang Yu realized these people were unfamiliar, not part of their tenth team.
"Which team are you from? What right do you have to do this?" Xiang Yu’s face was icy.
Xiang Yu was ready to break through; if they dared to come at them forcefully, he’d lead Tie Zhuzi and Little Xuan in a charge.
Though the odds were slim, a glimmer of hope was better than waiting for death.
"Don’t worry about which team we’re from. Better come with us quietly, or don’t blame us for being rude." The man said, raising his gun to disengage the safety.
Xiang Yu snorted and disengaged his safety as well. Since entering this life, he’d faced numerous life-and-death situations, never once showing fear.
Seeing this, Xia Cheng was so scared he was clumsy with his hands, coming to Little Suzhou, he hadn’t had the chance to show his talents before meeting his end, he felt unwilling.
"Wait, wait, hold on, let me leave first, and then you guys can talk." Xia Cheng said, briskly heading outside.
Tie Zhuzi disdainfully cursed, "Look at him, it’s repulsive."
