Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 1832 - 1833: Xiang Yu Leads the Counterattack
Although Sirvi was unwilling, he picked up the phone and made a call. He called his captain, Satman.
"Captain, we’re surrounded and need support now," Sirvi said.
"What, surrounded? What do you mean? Weren’t you going to intercept the cash transport?" Satman said in some surprise.
"It’s a trap, a trap designed specifically for us by the Vulture Group," Sirvi said angrily.
"Damn it, hold on, I’ll send support immediately," Satman said and hung up the phone.
At this moment, the people below were quietly advancing upward. This time, they didn’t shout loudly, just moved forward slowly.
"Leader, they’re coming up," someone said urgently, as their bullets were running low.
"Wait till they get closer, then shoot. Make sure every shot counts. Hold out until support arrives," Sirvi said.
These were the words Xiang Yu had said earlier, only they hadn’t listened.
Xiang Yu ignored them. Since the other side dared to attack so blatantly, they must be well-prepared. They might have already set up an ambush midway, just waiting for support to come and catch them off guard.
He didn’t voice this thought because he knew Sirvi wouldn’t believe it even if he did.
Sitting behind a rock, Xiang Yu took out his phone and called Tie Zhuzi.
"Brother Yu, we’re all set. When do we hit them from behind?" Tie Zhuzi said excitedly.
"Is Eck with you?" Xiang Yu asked directly.
"He’s right here," Tie Zhuzi gave Eck a puzzled glance.
"Give the phone to him," Xiang Yu said calmly.
Tie Zhuzi didn’t think much of it and handed the phone to Eck, saying, "Brother Yu wants to talk to you."
"Talk to me?" Eck was puzzled. He had never spoken to Xiang Yu, only knew his name.
"What’s up?" Eck said bluntly.
"Can you reach out to your superior? Just now..." Xiang Yu analyzed the current situation.
He suspected the Vulture Group had set up an ambush midway, waiting for support to arrive.
"It can’t be that serious," Eck frowned.
"It’s up to you whether you act or not. It’s just my suspicion," Xiang Yu said directly. "You can give the phone back to Zhuzi now."
Eck hesitated for a moment before handing the phone back to Tie Zhuzi.
"Where’s Xia Cheng?" Xiang Yu asked.
"He hid himself, should be nearby," Tie Zhuzi looked around and said.
"Wait a little longer. When you hear intense gunfire, hit them from behind," Xiang Yu said.
"Yes," Tie Zhuzi said excitedly. He didn’t expect to encounter such an event on his first day here. It seemed this place truly held great potential.
Eck hesitated there for a while but ultimately didn’t contact his superiors.
After all, Xiang Yu and his group had just arrived here, not familiar with their organization or the Vulture Group yet.
He couldn’t risk making a mistake because of Xiang Yu’s suspicion.
"Listen, there’s fighting over there. It’s our turn now," Tie Zhuzi excitedly adjusted his weapon and walked cautiously with Eck towards the front.
"What about that young guy from earlier? Should we call him?" Eck asked, following Tie Zhuzi.
Tie Zhuzi knew he meant Xia Cheng, so he chuckled and shook his head, saying, "Don’t worry, he’s around us."
Eck looked around but didn’t see anyone, giving Tie Zhuzi a look of disbelief, thinking he was joking.
The two quietly approached the back of the Vulture Group, only to see intense fighting, with the Vulture Group about to charge up.
"Damn it, where’s the support? If it doesn’t arrive soon, we won’t hold out," Sirvi said anxiously, pacing back and forth.
He now regretted not listening to Xiang Yu before.
"You’re called Xiang Yu, right? What should we do now?" Sirvi grabbed Xiang Yu and asked.
"Wait, support will arrive soon," Xiang Yu said calmly. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The support he referred to was Tie Zhuzi and the others.
"Isn’t there any other way?" Sirvi asked anxiously.
"No," Xiang Yu said coldly.
Although he hadn’t known this person long, Xiang Yu had already concluded that Sirvi wouldn’t accomplish great things.
Just then, gunfire erupted below, and someone shouted, "There’s an ambush behind us."
At that moment, Sirvi and his team’s bullets were running low. If the enemies attacked again, they might not hold out.
But gunfire from below relieved their pressure.
Tie Zhuzi was fighting excitedly and bravely, charging forward with his gun.
Eck was stunned; he had come from the battlefield and had never seen anyone so reckless.
But what shocked Eck more was that as the gunfire sounded, enemy fighters certainly fell, the accuracy was incredibly high.
Observing Tie Zhuzi, Eck realized his shooting skills were terrible, so those who fell weren’t his doing.
This meant the young man indeed hid around them, and Eck couldn’t spot him at all.
Thinking of this, Eck broke out in a cold sweat. If that young man had been shooting at him, he’d be done for.
"These people aren’t simple; be cautious around them in the future," Eck thought to himself, then charged forward with Tie Zhuzi, holding his gun.
Up above, Sirvi relaxed after seeing the enemies not charging up, grateful and sitting on a rock.
Xia Cheng was also scared, sweating profusely, lying on a rock and saying, "Luckily they didn’t come up, or we’d be doomed to die here for nothing."
Xiang Yu ignored him and jumped out, shouting, "Brothers, now’s our chance to counterattack. If we charge down now, we can catch them off guard."
Everyone was momentarily stunned; they hadn’t thought of counterattacking yet.
"Are you kidding? Our bullets are low; charging down means death," Sirvi stood up and shouted with wide eyes.
Xiang Yu knew he was incompetent, so he ignored him and continued standing on the rock, shouting, "Our bullets are low now. Staying here is a death sentence; decide for yourselves."
After saying that, Xiang Yu shouted and charged down with his gun.
Seeing Xiang Yu charging down, Xia Cheng couldn’t think too much and followed him with his gun.
He only had one belief: following Xiang Yu was the right thing to do.
Those on the hill looked at each other, not knowing what to do.
Sirvi snorted coldly and said, "Stay here and hold the line; don’t mind him."
"Leader, I think that kid’s right; we should charge down and catch them off guard," someone stood up and said.
"I said no, and that’s that," Sirvi shouted, eyes wide.
Some people exchanged glances and then stood up. They usually got along well with Eck and didn’t regard this leader highly...
