Chapter 320: Chapter 320 Spider Scorpion

Lin Kuang didn’t say a word, simply watching Liu Shilin in his arms. Shilin, I will definitely protect you. What you’re facing now is just an ordinary matter, but when your true identity is revealed, the trouble will be endless!

For the moment, only he knew her true identity. Since Old Liu asked me to protect her, she’s bound to run into trouble. After all, his identity is far from simple. Maybe no one will find out anything in the short term, but in the long run, the truth will always come out. This will be discovered sooner or later.

Liu Shilin lay in Lin Kuang’s arms and quietly drifted off to sleep, and the sound of her gentle breathing brought a smile to his lips. Once she was sleeping soundly, Lin Kuang carefully slid away, got out of bed, put on his underwear, and left the room.

It was already past eight in the morning, but none of the women seemed to be awake yet. They had partied late into the night, and everyone had had a lot to drink. It wouldn’t be surprising if they slept until noon. With this in mind, Lin Kuang freshened up, put on the tracksuit he had borrowed from Lin Guo’er’s dad, and started tidying up downstairs.

The living room was an utter mess. Cake was splattered everywhere—on the sofa, the floor, and even the walls were smeared with cream. Beer bottles lay scattered all over the place. Lin Kuang couldn’t help but smile wryly at the sight before setting to work. He cleaned until eleven o’clock, throwing the cake remnants into the trash and gathering all the beer bottles to be set aside.

PHEW.

Gazing at the spotless living room, Lin Kuang heaved a heavy sigh of relief before taking the trash bags and driving off.

By the time Lin Kuang returned, it was already noon. He carried two large bags filled with rice porridge, pickled vegetables, eggs, and other sides. Since everyone had been drinking the night before, he knew some porridge would be great for settling their stomachs.

When Lin Kuang returned, the women were all awake. They were only in their underwear, as their clothes from last night were too dirty to wear in the freshly cleaned villa. Besides, it wasn’t the first time Lin Kuang had seen them like this, so they weren’t particularly bothered.

Seeing the food Lin Kuang had brought, warm smiles bloomed on their faces. Who wouldn’t like a man who was not only a capable fighter but also so considerate?

"Alright, come and eat," Lin Kuang called out with a smile.

The women didn’t stand on ceremony and immediately started eating.

After the meal, they all got dressed and left, leaving only Lin Kuang, Lin Guo’er, Liu Shilin, and the Witch in the spacious villa.

"Lin Kuang, are you free this afternoon? If so, could you come with us to buy a car? Shiyu and I don’t have one to drive," Liu Shilin said, her smile as gentle as a new bride’s.

"Oh, sure. Should we head out soon?" Lin Kuang replied with a smile.

"Great! We’ll go get ready. Wait for us," she said happily.

Lin Kuang nodded and waited in the living room. Half an hour later, the three women came back downstairs. They had applied light makeup to their pretty faces and looked exceptionally beautiful.

"Let’s go, ladies," Lin Kuang said with a laugh.

"Alright!" they replied with a smile. With that, Lin Kuang drove off in the Mercedes, speeding away with his three beautiful passengers.

「Meanwhile, in a hotel room」

Fan Molun was seated on a sofa, his left arm freshly bandaged. His expression was incredibly grim.

Losing an arm was a tremendous blow. His combat strength had plummeted by fifty percent. Even if he made a full recovery and trained diligently, he would be lucky to regain seventy percent of his original power. However, the prospect of never being able to advance his strength further was something Fan Molun absolutely could not accept.

Furthermore, he had called the Fan Family Head that morning, but all he got was a harsh scolding. The family’s experts could not be dispatched for the time being, meaning no help was coming. The Family Head had left him with a single ultimatum: "Either you kill Lin Kuang, or you die in the East Sea!"

This was yet another crushing blow. He hadn’t been Lin Kuang’s match even before losing his arm. Now that it was severed, his chances were even slimmer. However, the Family Head had given the order. It was either kill Lin Kuang or die himself, so Fan Molun had no choice but to find a way.

"King of the Underworld, you’ve brought all this upon me! Just you wait, I, Fan Molun, will kill you!" Fan Molun growled, his face twisting with rage.

For now, however, he couldn’t act. His injury needed time to heal. Taking down Lin Kuang would have to be handled one step at a time. It couldn’t be rushed.

「Eastern Europe」

Far away, the leaders of two typically antagonistic mercenary corps were meeting: the General of Black Scorpion and the leader of the Poison Spider Mercenary Corps. The two men sat in a room, each with two bodyguards standing behind him.

"Hasa, did you call me here just to team up against that Lin Kuang?" asked Gael, the leader of Poison Spider, his tone indifferent.

"Yes, Gael. A major general and a lieutenant general under my command were both killed by that Easterner," Hasa said flatly, looking at Gael. "Since he dared to kill my Black Scorpion men, I absolutely will not let this go. I’ve also heard that your man, Rex, was taken out by that same Easterner, which proves the man is quite powerful. To avoid further losses, I propose we join forces to eliminate him. What do you say?"

"Hmph. Hasa, are you getting old and afraid of dying?" Gael said with a sneer. "He’s just one Easterner. Is he really worth all this trouble? So what if Rex is dead? I have plenty of men more capable than him. If I cooperate with you, wouldn’t that just make it seem like Poison Spider is afraid of that Easterner?"

Although Rex’s death had been somewhat unexpected, Gael wasn’t worried.

"This isn’t a matter of fear," Hasa replied calmly, showing no anger. "It’s about achieving victory with minimal losses. What’s wrong with that?"

"I’m not interested, Hasa. If this is all you wanted to discuss, then I’ll be going," Gael said flatly, standing up to leave.

"Not so fast, Gael. You’re still as impulsive as ever," Hasa said with a knowing smile. "I have one more thing to discuss, something I think you’ll find very interesting. Care to hear it?"
