Ninja stars appeared out of nowhere, raining down from the sky like the Fairy Scatter Flowers technique and enveloping everyone!

As the stars filled the air, Lin Kuang's expression instantly darkened. They actually sent ninjas. It seems they really are determined to kill Zhang Guodong.

Without hesitation, his figure shot out like a phantom, and he placed himself in front of Zhang Guodong. At the same time, Lin Kuang dropped his AK47 and drew Nameless from his waist.

The next moment, Nameless flashed.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The sound of metal on metal rang out incessantly as Lin Kuang deflected every ninja star aimed at Zhang Guodong. Moreover, the stars weren't just knocked aside; they were redirected toward the ten gunmen from the Island Country.

THUD! THUD! THUD!

With a series of sickening impacts, the ten men from the Island Country fell, each with a pitch-black ninja star embedded in his forehead.

Meanwhile, Zhang Tianyou and the others were faring much worse, forced to use their gun barrels to block the ninja stars while frantically dodging. Even so, Zhang Tianyou took a star to the shoulder. Li Liang, Dong Jia, Hu Yang, and Wei Jialin were also injured, but fortunately, their wounds weren't life-threatening.

Zhang Guodong, however, was much safer. Because Lin Kuang had deflected every ninja star, he was completely unharmed, as were Song Tao and the other members of the Thunderhawk Special Forces.

Gripping Nameless, Lin Kuang said in a grave tone, "Be careful. The Island Country's ninjas are here."

Hearing his warning, Zhang Tianyou, Song Tao, and the others focused their attention, vigilantly surveying their surroundings.

Just then, two shadowy figures appeared in a flash. Their gleaming katanas thrust toward Lin Kuang at extreme speed. The ninjas clearly knew Lin Kuang was the strongest in the group. If they could eliminate him, the others would be easy to deal with. For this reason, their two best assassins targeted him.

Lin Kuang had been on high alert, so he sensed the two ninjas the moment they appeared.

"Protect Commander Zhang!" he said calmly with a glance at Song Tao. Then, his body shot upward, Nameless flashing as he moved to intercept the two attackers.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The sound of metal clashing filled the air again. In the next instant, both ninjas' katanas were completely severed by Nameless, leaving them holding only half a blade. Such was the power of Nameless; as a treasured sword, it was far superior to their ordinary blades.

The two ninjas hadn't expected their blades to be severed on the first exchange, and they froze for a split second in shock. Seizing the opening, Lin Kuang struck. Nameless blurred, thrusting toward the forehead of one of the ninjas.

The targeted ninja hastily retreated, while the other lunged, thrusting the broken half of his katana at Lin Kuang's back. Lin Kuang sneered. Halting his forward momentum, he spun on the spot and swung his sword at the head of the ninja behind him. In response, that ninja leaped into the air and threw two ninja stars at the back of Lin Kuang's head, hoping for a quick kill.

But Lin Kuang wasn't so easily defeated. He swiftly brought Nameless around to defend, deflecting both ninja stars. The redirected projectiles shot back toward the ninja in mid-air.

Meanwhile, the first ninja seized the opportunity to attack. He brought his broken katana down in a powerful chop aimed at Lin Kuang's head. Lin Kuang snorted coldly. His body twisted to the side with an unnatural flexibility, as if he had no bones, and he narrowly evaded the blow. At the same time, he swung Nameless out, striking the ninja at the waist.

SWISH!

Nameless sliced the man in two, and the halves of his corpse fell to the ground.

By now, the ninja who had been in the air had landed, unharmed by his own deflected stars. Seeing his partner killed, he charged forward at full speed, gripping his broken katana with both hands and thrusting it fiercely at Lin Kuang's back.

Lin Kuang didn't turn, but he felt the vicious gust of wind from behind. He pushed off with his feet, launching himself high into the air. As he soared upward, the broken katana scraped harmlessly against the soles of his feet. Then, Lin Kuang executed a Thousand Catties Drop, his body plummeting to land directly behind the ninja. Simultaneously, Nameless flashed again, plunging deep into the man's back.

SQUELCH!

The blade pierced through the ninja's body. He died instantly, without even a grunt.

Lin Kuang felt no sense of accomplishment for killing the two men, as their skills had been unremarkable. Withdrawing Nameless, his gaze fell on the scene behind him. He saw eighteen black-clad ninjas surrounding and attacking Zhang Guodong's group of about a dozen people. Zhang Tianyou, Song Tao, and the others were fighting with all their might. Their skill level was roughly equal to that of the ninjas, but because they were injured and outnumbered, they were currently at a disadvantage.

Seeing the situation, Lin Kuang pushed off with his feet and shot forward at high speed. The eighteen ninjas saw him charging toward them.

Instantly, four of them broke away from the main group, their gleaming katanas moving to intercept him.

Lin Kuang sneered inwardly. I only plan to kill a few of them anyway. I'll let Zhang Tianyou and the others handle the rest. After all, a true life-and-death battle is the best training there is, and they need this kind of experience. The four ninjas rushing toward him played right into his hands.

Without a word, Lin Kuang didn't slow his charge; instead, he accelerated. This reaction puzzled the four ninjas for a moment. They quickly dismissed it, however. Their only goal was to kill Lin Kuang; what he was thinking didn't matter.

With that thought, the four ninjas lunged, their four katanas slashing fiercely at Lin Kuang. In response, Lin Kuang pushed off the ground and leaped high into the air, soaring a good four to five meters.

This move stunned the ninjas again; they couldn't understand the reason for such a high jump. Their confusion was short-lived. The next moment, they found out why. High in the air, Lin Kuang suddenly flipped over, plunging downward headfirst, thrusting Nameless directly at the four of them.
