Chapter 151: Eren’s Important Info

When Adyr finished his tour of the market grounds and returned, the sun had already begun to lose its golden brilliance, fading into a black-and-white stillness that felt almost eternal.

The area had been massive, and he’d visited as many shops as he could, which had taken far more time than expected. Including the time spent flying back and forth, the day had already slipped away.

From above, he could see Colossith’s massive body still in place, unmoving as it continued to feed. The city below showed no signs of panic. People went about their routines, seemingly unbothered by the colossal threat lingering nearby.

No one acted as if a towering titan had come to wipe them out. Life flowed with calm precision—a clear indication of how tightly the situation was being managed, and how much trust the citizens placed in their practitioners.

"Lord Adyr, welcome back."

As soon as he landed in the garden, Vesha’s cheerful voice reached his ears. "Dinner is ready. I can have it sent up whenever you’d like."

Adyr smiled and, without slowing his steps, walked past the knights and workers still stationed in the garden and entered the mansion. "Yeah, that’d be great."

For a moment, he considered skipping the meal. Logout time had already arrived, and he didn’t even have enough time left to undergo his Rank 2 evolution. But after a second thought, he decided to accept.

Preparing something that could actually fill him might take longer than expected. Even if he ordered food at the player headquarters, waiting for room service would still cost him extra time.

After returning to his room, Adyr took a quick shower to wash off the dust of the long outing. Not long after, a knock came at the door. Two maids entered, each pushing a trolley loaded with food.

When he finished eating, he checked his internal clock and saw that the logout time had already passed. Since he couldn’t predict how long the evolution process would take, he decided to postpone it to the next day, when he’d have a clearer mind and more time to spare.

As much as he cared about growing stronger and advancing in this new world, his family still mattered more. The idea of neglecting them didn’t sit well with him.

Without a second thought, he locked the door, drew the heavy curtains over the windows, and lit the wall-mounted candles just enough to leave a dim glow. Then he lay down on the bed and logged out.

When his consciousness returned to his Earth body, he was greeted, as always, by the loyal pair—Doctor Eliot Vance and Nurse Mira.

After a brief exchange and the usual routine check, Adyr made his way toward his room to change clothes.

As he walked down the long, empty corridor, he noticed someone waiting in front of his door.

"Eren. Been a while," he said with a small smile, reaching out his hand.

Eren’s dark green eyes looked a shade deeper than before, and his short black hair—almost fused to his scalp like a second layer of skin—had taken on a metallic sheen. His skin, too, had turned a deep bronze, like polished copper. Even his height had changed. He looked like he’d passed 2.30 meters.

Adyr didn’t need to guess. The transformation was clearly the result of an evolution. The man who already looked like a beast now resembled something beyond human—a full-blown monster.

"Hey. I was waiting for you. I’ve got something that might be useful," Eren said, cutting straight to the point as he shook Adyr’s hand.

The last time he’d approached Adyr, it had been with valuable intel. The fact that he was here again for the same reason was... interesting.

"Sure. Come in." Adyr scanned his hand across the door sensor and stepped aside to let him in.

"First, I want to thank you for the language file you sent me. It really helped," Eren said.

He had been genuinely surprised when the rough bit of linguistic help he once gave Adyr—nothing more than a few crude basics of a local dialect—had come back to him transformed into a fully structured language system. Adyr hadn’t just expanded on it; he had broken it down like a linguist, compiling a complete report that included the grammar structure, key vocabulary, and simplified phonetic guides for ease of learning.

That document had played a critical role in helping Eren survive in a foreign kingdom where he had neither cultural nor linguistic footing. It hadn’t just been useful—it had prevented mistakes that could’ve easily cost him his position or worse. What he had once offered as a small gesture to repay Adyr had come back to him as a far greater favor.

Even though Eren knew he could never repay Adyr for saving his sister, the fact that he was still receiving help didn’t discourage him—it only pushed him to grow stronger.

’’I won’t stay long. It’s not a detailed report or anything. Might not even be useful to you. But it felt too important to ignore," Eren said without sitting down. He looked like he was in a hurry, which made sense—he had a younger sister waiting at home. Adyr understood.

Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "What is it?"

"Like I said, not sure it’ll help. It’s something that mainly matters for players who’ve chosen the Aether path."

Adyr’s chosen path was still classified information. Only the administration and researchers knew it—players didn’t.

The mention of Aether caught his attention anyway.

Eren didn’t leave him waiting. "A traveling caravan showed up near the kingdom I’m stationed in. Stayed for a couple of days and opened a small market. I went out today, hoping to find something useful, and came across a Spark that stood out. It’s Rank 2, Aether path, and its ability caught my attention. Especially for us players, I think it could be significant—again, only for Aether path players."

He paused for a moment, brows furrowing as if recalling the details.

"The Spark’s physical structure is strange. That’s what made me look at it more closely in the first place. It doesn’t have one body. It has two. And according to the system description, both bodies are controlled by a single mind."

Adyr listened intently, his curiosity growing with every word. He remained silent, letting Eren finish.

"It’s called *Mindrake*," Eren said. "One of its traits allows a single consciousness to simultaneously control both bodies. I thought... if someone were to evolve using it, they could manage two bodies at once. No need to rest one while the other is active. And maybe, with this ability, they wouldn’t even need a gamepod to connect to the other world anymore."

He spoke with the weight of someone who had spent a lot of time thinking it through.

Adyr gave a small nod in acknowledgment, his expression unreadable—but inside, a storm was already building.

I acted too fast. I almost missed something like this.

He had already chosen his Spark for Rank 2 evolution, and if it hadn’t been so late—and if he hadn’t decided to log out—he might have completed the process by now. But learning about a Spark with the potential to control two bodies simultaneously, especially at Rank 2, made him realize just how rushed his decision had been.

"Thank you. That’s extremely useful information," Adyr said sincerely.

Eren nodded with a faint smile, then turned and left with quick steps. He clearly needed to get back to his little sister, but had waited all this time just to deliver that intel to Adyr.

And that, once again, proved to Adyr that his interest had not been misplaced. Eren was, without question, worthy of attention.
