Unexpected Marriage With Mr. Leighton: Rebirth of the Villain-Chapter 305: KILLED THEM ALL
Ranon approached Kyle. His eyes were very cold, cold enough to make everyone present shiver in fear.
"You will not get away from this, Ranon Leighton. If you kill me, my father will come after you and your daughter," Kyle laughed. "We can kill you just as easily as we killed your woman."
"As we are speaking, my man is hunting down your father." Ranon kicked Kyle in the mouth when he spat on his shoes. He frowned when he saw the red blotch on the tip of his shoes.
"Kill me, and my brother will avenge me!" Kyle was shivering. He looked around frantically, trying to find a way out of here. But this place had been sealed, and if his men had managed to take down Ranon’s, they would have been here.
The fact that he was alone without help only meant that no one would come to save him. He was going to die, and that was without a doubt. His death was near, as close as Ranon.
Kyle glanced at Axel Duncan, who had lost his consciousness. That man crumpled on the side of the room, unmoved. Only the undulating movement from his chest indicated that he was still alive.
"Your brother?" Ranon crouched down in front of Kyle. "How do you think I can find this hiding place if it is not the tip from him?"
"Do you want me to believe that?"
Despite his bravado, Kyle was trembling, a flicker of betrayal flashing in his eyes at Ranon’s words. He found it difficult to dismiss what Ranon said, especially since Lyle had been missing for so long. He was enraged by what happened to Olivia.
"He said, ’Go to hell.’" Ranon then unsheathed his dagger and slashed his throat. It was deep enough to make an incision but not so deep that Kyle would die quickly.
Kyle let out gurgling sounds when he tried to open his mouth and curse at Ranon. His eyes widened, filled with fear, anger, and hatred.
He put his hand over his open neck in an attempt to stop the bleeding, but of course, it wouldn’t help him at all. It was only a matter of time.
But it took him so long before he was finally freed from the pain. His body thrashed on the floor, twitched, and finally lay still. His hands that held his neck gradually slackened. He blinked his eyes at Ranon, who watched him lose his life without doing anything.
There was a snoring sound that came from Kyle, and in his last moment, Ranon fished out his phone and took a picture of him, as he sent it to Lyle with only a single word: done.
There was no reply from Lyle, but he read the message.
Meanwhile, Arthur had mixed feelings as he watched Kyle die a miserable death. He watched him grow up. He was there when he was born and held him when he was only a day old.
He thought of Kyle and Lyle, his own sons, the same way he thought of Arlo and Michael, since he only had two daughters.
Kyle and Lyle had nothing to do with River’s death, but after everything and how Kyle had indirectly killed Ranon’s wife, he didn’t think it would be wise for him to interfere.
Arthur was familiar with the vengeance that Ranon carried.
Once Ranon was done with Kyle, he went to Axel, who was still unconscious. He gestured to Dalton to get him the gasoline that he had asked for before.
"Ranon," Dalton called his name. It made him concerned to see the blank look on Ranon’s face. He felt nothing when he took Kyle’s life, and now, he was going to do it to Axel. "Shouldn’t we just shoot him and be done with him here?"
The noises that Kyle made when he was dying still ring in his ears.
Ranon didn’t say anything. He took the gasoline from Dalton’s hand and poured it on Axel’s legs, only his legs—to wake him up.
On the other hand, when Dalton realized that Ranon wouldn’t budge with his original plan, he took two steps back. This sight would be very ugly.
Ranon then fished out his Zippo, the same dented black Zippo that he had been keeping for years.
He lit it up and threw it toward Axel. It took a while, but once the fire from the Zippo licked the gasoline, the fire grew bigger in an instant, and Axel regained his consciousness because of the extreme pain.
Once again, the room echoed with pain, and this time it came from Axel. He looked around, trying to get away from the fire that covered his legs and move toward his upper body. But he couldn’t go far enough since his left hand was handcuffed to a bolted table.
"Ranon! Ranon!" Axel called Ranon’s name like a curse. He couldn’t say anything else because the pain was too much for him to bear.
His arrogance from earlier melted away just like his skin. The smell of burning flesh was nauseating. It filled the entire room, along with a metallic smell from Kyle’s blood.
Everyone there scrunched their noses. Most of them were familiar with violence, but what made them unsettling was the sight of Ranon. He said nothing and stood there as if he were observing an uninteresting object.
The fire reflected in Ranon’s eyes, and the more Axel moved, the more the fire spread to his whole body. He screamed and cursed until there was no more sound in this room aside from crackles from the fire. Axel’s body limped, and he no longer moved...
The night grew darker, but there was nothing darker than Ranon’s thought at that moment.
"Ranon, they got hold of Deryl," Dalton informed Ranon when the room grew quiet.

It had been a month since River learned about what had happened out there. She noticed that it had been more than half a year since Hazel’s death.
And she missed Ashlyn’s second birthday. She missed her daughter...
River wondered if Ashlyn was still her daughter when she technically didn’t give birth to her. River wanted to see her...
But she was glad that they only held Hazel’s funeral, not Hazel’s and her daughter’s. That was the only thing that consoled her when she had to go through all of her therapy sessions.
River was curious to learn more about Ranon. However, she could find only a little information beyond some gossip that suggested he had close ties with a few businesswomen with whom he was collaborating on projects. Unfortunately, there was no confirmation of this from Ranon himself.
She was pissed with the rumors. However, when she saw him for the first time as a few news reporters cornered him to his car, she found herself crying.
She couldn’t stop her tears.
It was only a brief moment, because a moment later Ranon’s bodyguards had warded off the reporters, and Ranon entered the car.
"I need to get out of here," River said to herself. "But then, what?" She couldn’t approach Ranon. Knowing him, it wouldn’t be easy.
It would be lucky if she could find him and have a conversation with him.
"Then, what do you want to say? I am your deceased wife?" River covered her face. She groaned in frustration. She wanted to recover quickly, but her muscles refused to cooperate with her.
They said that it would take some other months for her to be able to move normally.
"I hate this situation..."
Yet, giving up was not an option. She wanted her little family back. She wanted her child and her husband back.
Therapy sessions were hell for River, especially when she became very frustrated as the progress was not as fast as she wanted it to be.

They kept Deryl alive because they wanted to know where he kept Rania, his wife and Lyle’s mother. But the man was stubborn.
The McKennas had long gone. Two months ago, they killed Kyle and captured Deryl. However, they couldn’t find Rania. He kept her hidden.
"I am going to kill him tonight. It is either you come here to talk to him, or you can come here later to collect his corpse," Ranon said with annoyance at Lyle on the phone.
Lyle refused to meet with his father, but he wanted to know his mother’s whereabouts or what happened to her—if... she was still alive.
"Can’t you force him harder?" Lyle asked. He sighed deeply.
"I have starved him. He may have died as we speak."
"How could you do that?"
"I don’t work to feed him," Ranon replied, and then hung up the call. He didn’t have the patience to talk to Lyle about Deryl. If it were up to him, that man would have died long ago. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
It was not a long game he wanted to play; he still had to hunt down Gayle and Arlo.
Ranon was staring at the city lights from his study when Ashlyn opened the door and entered the room. She toddled over and raised both of her arms.
"Why are you not sleeping?" Ranon picked his daughter up and gave her a kiss, but Ashlyn pursed her lips. "Nightmare?" She nodded.
Ashlyn found Hazel’s collection of horror movies and insisted on watching it. Ranon wouldn’t allow it, but Renna and Laurel were so weak with her.
Moreover, it gave Renna a certain feeling when she saw the movies, as she remembered how Hazel loved them so much during her pregnancy.
"I told you not to watch horror movies, right?"
Ashlyn gave him a kiss to appease him.
