Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!-Chapter 949: What Is Gu?
In the room, the doctor came to remove the arrow from Thomas Quincy.
Clara Thornton watched as he finished bandaging, finally breathing a sigh of relief and no longer flustered as before.
Click-clack, the sound of urgent high heels echoed.
Nancy Nash ran over anxiously, "Thomas."
She shoved Clara Thornton aside and threw herself into Thomas Quincy’s arms, crying her heart out, "Are you okay? I heard something happened to you, I was worried sick."
Beside them, Eleanor Sterling couldn’t help but roll her eyes. She said with a faint smile, "Miss Nash, Thomas isn’t badly injured, but who knows after you just crashed into him."
Nancy seemed to realize and hurriedly stepped back from Thomas, looking tearfully at his wounds and asked, "I’m sorry, I didn’t know, are you alright?"
Thomas shook his head and said, "I’m fine."
Behind, Clara Thornton watched the two embracing so intimately, she couldn’t help but remember what happened in the secret room earlier, and her mood instantly turned somber.
She had already agreed to divorce Thomas.
So she couldn’t go back on her word.
Clara took a deep breath, turned, and walked out, feeling heavy-hearted and in urgent need of some fresh air.
Eleanor Sterling watched Clara Thornton leave, wanting to follow her, but reluctant to leave Nancy, this witch, behind. She needed to stand up for her good friend.
"Miss Nash, could you step outside for a moment? I have something to discuss with the Family Head."
Nancy looked at Eleanor with displeasure, gritting her teeth, "Why should I go out? Is there something I can’t hear?"
Eleanor smiled faintly, "Yes, it’s a private secret you can’t hear, so please."
Nancy looked suspiciously at Eleanor. Although she doubted Eleanor’s intentions, seeing her with her big belly and Alaric Faulkner beside her, she didn’t question further.
But she had no intention of leaving, why should she? Eleanor had no authority!
Nancy scoffed, "I’m not leaving."
Eleanor’s lips curled into a cold smile.
Nancy was relying on Thomas Quincy’s affection for her, showing her bratty attitude. Who knows if she can still act recklessly once Thomas recovers.
"Well, since Miss Nash insists on being stubborn and I urgently need to discuss something private with Thomas, perhaps I should have someone come in and escort Miss Nash out."
After finishing, Eleanor’s eyes turned cold, she called out to the bodyguards outside, "Come in and escort Miss Nash out."
"Eleanor Sterling, how dare you!"
Nancy glared at Eleanor, but the bodyguards had already come in, about to drag her out, and she immediately clung to Thomas’s arm.
"Thomas, look at her, this woman is too arrogant, thinking she owns the place, trying to kick me out." 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Eleanor looked coldly at Thomas. If he dared to help this woman, she would make sure he regrets it.
Thomas glanced at Eleanor, then said to Nancy, "Please step out for now."
"Thomas..."
Nancy looked at him in disbelief, as if she couldn’t believe he was asking her to leave.
She wanted to say something, but seeing Thomas’s indifferent expression, she ultimately said nothing.
Nancy bit her lip resentfully, but in the end, she left.
The room instantly quieted down, leaving only Eleanor Sterling, Alaric Faulkner, and Thomas Quincy.
Thomas recalled what happened in the secret room, he looked at Eleanor and asked, "What’s this about the love curse?"
