Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!-Chapter 917: Mason Langley’s New Plan
"Indeed, there’s been a slight issue. Carter Sharp has returned to The Sharp Family, your plan didn’t succeed."
Giselle Keating’s voice sounded normal, and Mason Langley had no suspicions whatsoever.
However, upon hearing that the plan failed, he was somewhat displeased.
Mason Langley’s eyes darkened, and he clenched his teeth as he asked, "Xavier Keating and Wendy Carson got back together?"
Otherwise, how could Carter Sharp possibly return to The Sharp Family? What exactly is Wendy Warren doing!
Didn’t he instruct her to disrupt their relationship?
"No, they’ve had a heated argument because of Wendy Warren, but Xavier Keating refuses to let Wendy Carson leave."
Mason Langley’s eyes shifted; this was odd. Since they didn’t reconcile, why did Carter Sharp suddenly call off the engagement?
Everything about this situation reeks of strangeness, as if something is happening that he doesn’t know about.
While Mason Langley was pondering, Giselle Keating on the other end said, "Brother Mason, when will you bring me back to your side? It’s dangerous here; I could be exposed at any time."
Upon hearing this, Mason Langley hesitated.
He was calculating in his mind what use Giselle Keating still had for him.
He had taken Giselle Keating with him previously to have her work for him, after all, she had lived with The Keating Family for so many years and knew it well.
It wouldn’t be impossible to bring her back, provided she still had value, or perhaps...
A ruthless gleam flashed in Mason Langley’s eyes; before Giselle Keating returns, he would have her serve one last purpose, ensuring she might not be able to return at all.
After a moment of silence, Mason Langley said, "Alright, how about this? Do something for me, and once it’s done, I will bring you back."
Giselle Keating immediately agreed, "Okay, I will definitely complete your task well."
"I have a lethal poison from the Quincy Family; I’ll have someone bring it to you later. If you can manage to poison Alaric Faulkner or Xavier Keating, I will bring you back..."
He paused for a moment and added, "Of course, I know you hate Eleanor Sterling to the bone, you can hit her in the process."
A man seeks power and status above all else; Mason Langley actually wants Giselle Keating to target Alaric Faulkner most, so he can manipulate him to deal with The Keating Family.
Given Giselle Keating’s hatred for Eleanor Sterling, he believes she knows how to choose.
"Alright, I understand."
After hanging up the phone, Mason Langley felt exhilarated, unable to suppress the smile on his face.
Soon he would successfully control Alaric Faulkner for his own purposes; with Alaric Faulkner at his disposal, wouldn’t he become a big figure capable of turning clouds with one hand and rain with the other?
It seems even heaven is helping him rise to power and become the new generation’s hero.
Mason Langley immediately dialed a phone number.
"I have something for you; quietly deliver it to Giselle Keating. Don’t leave any trace behind. Understand?"
This person was his trusted confidant, hidden within The Keating Family to work for him; now was the time to use him.
"Alright, I will give it to her."
Only then did Mason Langley nod in satisfaction and smile.
...
At this moment, Alaric Faulkner, Eleanor Sterling, Xavier Keating, and others are gathered together.
Giselle Keating’s phone is naturally monitored by them.
They also know about Mason Langley’s plan.
Eleanor Sterling looked at Alaric Faulkner, her expression somewhat helpless, "It seems quite a few people have set their sights on you."
Mason Langley’s ambition is boundless, but it’s exactly this ambition that allows them to use countermeasures and bait him out.
Alaric Faulkner’s eyes darkened as he said, "When the time comes, I’ll pretend to have been poisoned by her, then you can make plans to let her leave. We’ll be able to follow the clues to find Mason Langley’s lair."
"And in the meantime, we’ll root out the hidden pests within The Keating Family, thoroughly cleansing it."
Eleanor Sterling and Xavier Keating both nodded.
