Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations-Chapter 1214: Taking Her Out to Dinner
Jocelyn Morgan sat down in Ian Shelby’s office chair, completely ignoring the girl standing at the door.
But she could feel Vera Ford’s unfriendly gaze; Jocelyn Morgan grasped Ian Shelby’s mouse, checking something on the computer.
Vera was very jealous! She knew those were important pieces of information, some even priceless.
But she had no right to stop it, as these were things Ian had allowed.
This girl is really too shameless!
Vera was very angry; she reluctantly turned and left.
Ian quickly finished his work and came over; as he walked into the office, Jocelyn Morgan put down the mouse, stood up a bit nervously, and leaned against the desk, looking at him joyfully.
Elegant and handsome, tall and eye-catching in every way!
He casually took off his white coat and seriously washed his hands, "What would you like to eat?"
"Are you asking me?" Jocelyn Morgan responded softly.
Ian smiled and glanced over, "Who else is here besides you?"
The girl’s heart felt sweet, "Anything is fine with me."
"So where do you want to go to eat?" Ian said, "I’m listening to you today."
Jocelyn Morgan smiled without replying; she waited for him to finish washing his hands and went out the door with him; where they ate wasn’t important!
"Did you drive here?" In the elevator, Ian said to her, "Shall we go in my car?"
"I didn’t drive here. I just got back from traveling, and my luggage is still at a friend’s house."
"So, you came especially to find me?"
She blushed and didn’t answer.
Ian changed the subject, casually asking, "Why did you only play for one day? The scenery was quite good."
"Because you weren’t there with me!" With that kiss between them, she dared to say anything now.
Ian smiled slightly, that answer was perfect!
The numbers on the elevator wall decreased, and in the relatively small space, there were only the two of them.
Jocelyn Morgan turned her eyes to meet his gaze.
Ian’s lips curved gently, his entire face becoming extraordinarily soft.
The two went down the stairs and walked out of the hospital lobby.
Ian opened the car door for her, "Careful." He helped her into the car.
In Jocelyn Morgan’s mind, she was still savoring that kiss, and she was moved by this little detail, which was his answer to her. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
He liked her too, how wonderful!
"What do you want to eat?" Ian turned to her, asking seriously again, thinking that her profile was particularly beautiful.
"Anything is fine."
"Do you have any food restrictions or anything you don’t eat?"
"I’m okay with anything."
Jocelyn Morgan was a very simple person; she wasn’t delicate, nor pretentious.
Soon, the car stopped outside a restaurant in Riventhal known for its fresh ingredients.
"Have you been here before?" Ian unbuckled his seatbelt, getting out of the car while turning to ask, wanting to learn more about her.
"Yes, I’ve been here." Jocelyn Morgan also got out of the car.
The two started walking toward the restaurant, feeling a bit familiar with the place.
Ian paid special attention to her feelings, which could be seen from small details as they entered the door, "Watch the step." He also placed his gentlemanly hand behind her.
The restaurant had three floors, spacious, bright, with novel decorations.
The first floor was the ingredient area, with everything freshly ordered; various seafood and fish were clearly separated from vegetables and meats.
"Have you decided what to eat?" Ian’s gentle gaze fell on her, "My treat."
"Let me treat you!" Jocelyn Morgan turned to look at him, graciously, "You’ve helped me quite a bit, and you even saved Cecilia Dunn’s life."
Ian didn’t argue with her over who would pay; with something like the bill, how could he let the girl handle it?
Especially the girl he loved.
"Would you two like to try our signature dish?" The waiter stood beside them with a notepad, eyes always falling on them, internally marveling, truly a perfect match!
"You pick," Ian pointed, "Do you eat crab? Their crab is quite good."
"Alright," Jocelyn Morgan was not shy, "What’s important isn’t what we eat, but who we eat with, so I’m fine with anything."
She turned her eyes, once again meeting his deep and gentle gaze.
Ian’s lips curved gently, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
At this moment, a current quietly surged into Jocelyn Morgan’s body, tingly and flowing through her veins.
