Chapter 1099: Chapter 1099: Jealous Yet Again

"I’m worried about him too." Mia Lane pulled her father as they ran, "Do you see that car outside? You drive it away!"

"I’m not leaving!"

David Dalton, although not stopping his steps, was firm this time, "If I drive the car away, what will happen to you?"

At this moment, the cars sent by Jerry Garcia and Finn Morgan arrived at the same time!

They were too far away to see, only many cars approaching in a surrounding formation, scaring Mia Lane and David Dalton to a halt, thinking they were John Jennings’ men.

"Stella! Get in the car! You go!"

In David Dalton’s mind, his daughter was especially important, so was Trevor.

Just as Mia Lane was feeling a bit panicked, she recognized the models and license plates, and the cars stopped quickly as Jerry Garcia and Finn Morgan got out with their men!

"Quick! Trevor is on the eighth floor!" Mia Lane immediately conveyed the instruction.

"Yes, Mrs. Kingston!"

Dozens of Justin Kingston’s subordinates rushed into the hall, some heading to the elevator, others charging towards the stairs!

"Ow!"

"Ah—"

Noises of fighting came from the stairwell, they quickly dashed up!

Justin Kingston swiftly knocked down the people coming downstairs.

"CEO Kingston!" one of the subordinates reported, "Mrs. Kingston and President Dalton are at the door; Mrs. Kingston said Trevor is on the eighth floor!"

"You go up." Justin Kingston dusted his hands, stepped back against the wall, and cleared a path.

The subordinates swiftly headed upstairs!

Justin Kingston, with a composed face, glanced upstairs, then started descending.

When Mia was in danger, Trevor stepped up, which he couldn’t accept; it felt unsettling inside.

Trevor’s excellence was different from ordinary people, with a touch of elegance and his own highlights.

Furthermore, he was highly regarded by his father-in-law.

Working closely with Mia, even going to work together daily, and bringing her cake.

Trevor liked Mia; Justin Kingston could see it with his eyes closed.

Thinking of those moments, it made him a bit enraged inside.

Upon reaching the hall and seeing the father-daughter pair safe at the door, his expression softened tremendously.

He made strides towards them.

"Good day, CEO Kingston."

Mia Lane and David Dalton turned their heads simultaneously, seeing him emerge from inside, inevitably feeling a bit surprised.

Mia Lane instinctively took a few steps towards him, worried about Trevor, while her eyes sparkled, "Why are you here?"

"Is it only Trevor who can be here?" he asked lightly.

Though not an intense tone, his words left Mia Lane speechless.

The couple exchanged glances.

One was surprised, the other indifferent.

Meanwhile, the father-in-law seemed to understand something too.

At this moment, the elevator doors opened.

Among the emerging figures, they saw an injured Trevor, his left hand covering his right arm.

"What’s wrong with you?!" Mia Lane rushed over with her father, "Are you hurt? Is it serious? Is the wound deep?"

David Dalton’s heart hung high, "Quick! Hurry to the hospital! We need to stop the bleeding immediately!"

"I’m fine, don’t worry." Trevor said casually, a hint of a smile at the corner of his lips.

"Get in the car quickly!" David Dalton was extremely worried.

Then Mia Lane and her father on either side helped him out and into the car.

Passing by Justin Kingston, Justin saw them off, feeling strange inside.

After getting Trevor into the car, Mia Lane returned and stood before Justin Kingston, "Want to go to the hospital together? I’m a doctor; sometimes handling wounds is more professional, plus he got hurt for us."

"So you have to go?" Justin Kingston looked at her, unwilling inside.

"Because Dad is going." She answered truthfully, "So I have to go."

Justin Kingston just looked at her, neither agreeing nor rejecting, like a child, his gaze having a hint of stubbornness.

Mia Lane cast down her eyes and turned to leave.

Justin Kingston also adjusted his gaze, looking to another side, seeing the elevator door open, and John Jennings’ clumsy subordinates being escorted out one by one.
