Chapter 303: 303 Dealing with undead

[Lucy’s POV: ]

There were many undead creatures in this dungeon, but most of them were still various tunes of the skeletons.

And they were fighting the skeleton knights right now.

There were many kinds of skeleton knights as well, but the soldier ranks were mostly around level 200 to 300. And they were strong in every way possible... thankfully, they were only gathered in one place in a group of two to four.

And they were fighting a group op there right now.

[The Knight captain jumped in, took a small turn, shook his Mana-covered sword, and after spearing a wind of Aura with his sword, he descended down to the ground.’

They were fighting well, and they had a good level for this particular dungeon.

’All of them were around (Level-300) so they were perfect for the dungeon with the average monster level like this one.

They could deal with these creatures since they had that much capabilities, and, since they now had the experience of fighting with unbearable opponents like the creatures of the islands, they had built up a strong synergy with one another.

[The Witch was bored and did not like the armoire appearance of the undead creature. There was pretty much nothing attractive about this creature. Exposed to the magical charm of the Witch, the undead was also affected and could not move an inch.]

The Epic was still being recited by the Voice of the World while on the other hand, I was reciting the things going on to my viewers.

And it was pretty fun even without me saying much of anything.

They were having fun looking at them struggling against opponents of much lower level compared to the ones they had dealt with just a while ago.

’The people of this world must be still stunned how they were dealing with these strong-looking skeletons so easily, especially the ones who had dealt with them personally.’

Just the fact that they were able to take them on so systematically must be a shock of their lifetimes.

It was no normal thing to deal with opponents of this level in a dungeon that naturally gave one debuffs. However, they were doing well in the eyes of the people of this world.

’Fallen Fortress of Avatika, similar to many of the dimensional dungeons, put one under a constant debuff that could only be countered with light or holy attribute potions.’

However, making these light and holy attribute potions was no cheap thing.

One required a good sum of money just to make one and if one wanted a good quality one, they could only buy it from the dimensional merchants.

’Still, the market price for those things (for those who did not know the true value of those things) was around twenty thousand Oz.’

Small words like these where people did not know the true value of the things were very good for the smaller dimensional merchants who were just starting their business.

It’s just natural to sell the stuff that has value at a higher place, and that’s more of a reason I love my resonate Raz.

That little one is pretty good and tells us things that we should know about the market and the product and I’m thankful for that bastard for that.

’Not that we would need him for something like a light potion.’

We already got a few good elixirs with light attributes and holy properties so El just used her Synthesis and made a lot of enhanced light potions.

It was easy for her, and thanks to her, they were fighting the creatures with ease... or not.

-Boooooooooom!

-Dhum! Dum! Dhum!

They were getting beaten by the skeletons even though they were using a good amount of their power.

’They were holding back for the later opponents but, doing that cost them quite a bit.’

Visibly, they were in a difficult situation right now, something the spectators from various places enjoyed quite a bit after seeing them doing so well against the creatures of the outside.

They were undead soldiers, creatures adorned with attractive armor made of some of the rarest metals available in this world, a metal that was not naturally available in this world anymore.

’Well, they are doing well.’

Their captain was on the offensive right now so the Handler was commanding them from behind.

The Witch was taking on a death knight on her own, however, it only looked like she was stopping it with some kind of skill.

The Bishop and Apothecary were at the back treating the ones who got physically injured by the blades of the creatures.

The battle was no fun on its own, but... the entire theme of this battle made it fun for the spectators who had nothing to do with this fight or the epic that was being recited at the moment.

Most of the stream viewers didn’t even know there was a stream going on in this world.

They were only here for entertainment.

{ "The captain, anxious from the tipping scales that weren’t in their favour anymore, backed off for a moment and observed the situation with his keen eyes." }

And I knew how to give it to them.

{ "It was a minuscule detail, however, the captain noticed a tiny crack in the hard magic-covered armor of the skeleton and a light of hope shined in his eyes." }

They couldn’t hear what was going on here aside from the novices of clashing and exploding so they had no idea what the conversation between the group or the situation actually was.

I was just using hal-true words in an eloquent manner so they liked what I was saying even though some of the smart ones could have guessed the situation with a little more effort.

They were strong and they were fighting for a few hours now.

This was their last bunch of skeletons before they faced the first mini-boss of this dungeon, and facing her would open their eyes.

[The Brave leader took the lead, jumped once again, and this time, he spun his entire body in the air.]

[Spinning like a wheel, he came down with his sword completely covered in Aura and, with abnormally precise control, he landed the blow at a certain point while the mother of insects distracted the soldier with her children.]

-Booooooooooom!

{ "One side dealt with one solder, and with an equally deadly force, the others defeated their opponents as well... which was perhaps the toughest challenge they had faced in this entire dungeon." }

[They were so exhausted after dealing with the soldiers of the past that some of them couldn’t help the weight of their fatigued bodies and fell to the ground.]

They had done well dealing with these creatures, and they had saved quite a bit of their energy for an actual threat to their lives.

’It would be the strongest secondary boss, but, even that being was not something we could ever take lightly.’

The dungeon was a fortress however, the place we wanted to go, the center of the fortress was located at the very back of everything.

One would have to cross all the areas with all the secondary bosses one by one to reach the center and, as the norm, with each boss, after crossing each section of the dungeon, the difficulty of the challenge they faced would increase many folds.

’This dungeon isn’t going to get conquered in a few hours or even a day like the other dungeons we have been to.’

We mostly are going to stand back and just watch them, since they are the true protagonists of this Epic, however, if they cannot do it, if they actually are going to fail, we would have no choice but to step in.

’But I wish for it to go the way it is.’

They were stronger than what I was portraying them as. They were saving their skills and techniques for the real stronger opponents since they knew the skeletons were not the only undead in this place.

There were ghosts that they had to deal with, as well as the memory fragments that would be the most difficult of them all.

There were various types of these undead as well so there wasn’t just one type of the ghost kind. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

They were going to face difficult opponents going forward, so... this was just the start.

[ "El, they are going to challenge the first door." ]

[ "What? You all are already done? How long had it... oh. Cary! You should have at least told me it was this late! What are you doing with those flowers?! Come here!" ]

The only place in this lifeless dungeon that contained any sign of life was the garden sealed inside the original reality, beyond the illusion creating that dreadful scene.

It was the place I liked the least in this entire dungeon, but beyond it rested a place that I loved as much as the peak of the shrine of Chiragya.

It was a pretty place, good for sword practice for sure.

And now that I had my True Six season sword dance, I wanted to go there and try out the sword dance.

It was a place that existed since ancient times, so perhaps something good might happen after I performed the sword dance in that place.

’But we’ll have to do that later. Most probably this place becomes ours.’

There was no time to waste right now since we would have to go back and attend the classes after the weekend ends.

The professors were anxiously waiting to meet up with me again and discuss the output amplification method.

Just leaving them isn’t going to be possible.

[ "Anyway, leave and come here. Let’s see them kill a pretty skeleton." ]

[ "Ah, yes! They are going to fight Yula! How can I forget that~?

Oy bastard! Come here! We are leaving!" ]

She should be here shortly.

They all should also be done with resting by the time she’s here.
