Twin Reincarnation: Epics Of The Worldline-Chapter 279 Welcome back
[OP: ]
She materialized her unique weapon, the [Night’s Twilight] first in its original cane form.
Then, turning it into a thin long string that she wrapped around the dead body of the immortal vampire on the ground, she spread it out in all directions in a unique way that created a complex-looking magic circle with the two of them in the center of it.
[{( "Earth of origin, flAmes of ApocaLypse, WatErs of eterNity, Winds... of coSmos." }]]
There were various materials spread out all over this magic circle-like territory she had created, all placed on certain spots as a catalyst for this entire reaction.
[{( "Light of brightest Hope! Darkness oF... Deepest TruThs!" )}]
Cary was sitting right under her, lending her his eternal, pure Mana, helping her with his special skills, and aiding her in this difficult process.
[{( "I call Thee! The GeneSis Fountain!" )}]
She was speaking enchantments in the origin tongue while constantly drawing Runes of origin with the finest form of condensed Mana that looked like flowing crystal.
[{( "PreSent thyself beFor I!" )}]
What she was doing right now was humanly impossible... it should be impossible for many of the divinities watching them right now as well.
It was impossible to speak in the origin language and draw the origin runes at the same time with Both hands!
The ones watching her from after were all already stunned by the presence of that giant red magic circle around her, however the way the words of gold flowing out of her fingers were covering the entire sky, the way all the things placed around the magic circle was glowing with unique lights, the way this entire scene was unfolding right before their eyes... it made them skip a heartbeat.
And gulp with astonishment.
-Ooooooooooooooong!
However, that astonishment suddenly became awe and unexpected disbelief when the entire sky above the magic circle around her started shining with white, and the words of gold, after gathering and circulating from her head to the circle in the sky in different-sized rings, took a unique form.
[{( "Send this quAlifieD SouL baCk to US!" )}]
The words that were just words, intertwined and became magic circles that later moved in a harmonic manner, connecting her and the light in the sky with a straight beam of light in the center.
An unbelievable amount of energy was generated in this process that was so great that every single element in the area they were in including the rocks, the fires, the atmosphere, and the very air required for breathing was ’deleted’ from this area.
-Oooooooooooong!
A unique process was happening inside the red magic circle under this heavenly celestial light and the golden rings of Runes.
There the space was trembling as a result of the movement of the rings in the space before them... even the spectators standing miles away from them could sense the impact of this process on their very skins.
-Ooooooooooooooong...!
They could not see what was happening inside the magic circle anymore... and it was a good thing since the scene that they must have witnessed in there definitely scared their hearts.
[{ Stupid master! You are stupiddddddddd! }]
She was bleeding.
Her eyes, nose, ears, and even the nails that had been attractive just a moment ago had turned completely red from the entire process that had lasted no more than a few minutes.
The pain had overwhelmed every part of her body as she took in the eternal power of the [Genesis fountain] all by herself.
The Runes she drew, the ones that were now harmonic instruments playing a cosmic song only the higher beings could actually hear, drained the entire reserve of her inner Mana with each smaller version of the circles she drew...
And, even though she had a near-infinite source of Mana right under her, the process of channeling the power from him directly was still excruciatingly painful...
The casting of resurrection magic with this method was the only way she could bring someone back to her level with limited authority, so this was the only way for her to do this.
The process of bringing someone whose soul has already left this reality was no easy process even for the higher beings, or the true gods.
It required not only a large amount of energy, if there was no right [Cause] and powerful enough [Intention] for what one wanted the dead back, the Worldline itself didn’t allow the resurrection process.
[{ Stop it already, stupid master! }]
It would have been much easier had he died after she was there.
She could have stopped his entire Mentle body from crumbling down under the Misma and the effects of the Void in this place... but the nature of this realm they were in made the process of resurrection several times more difficult than it is in their own world.
[{ Master...! }]
-Ooooooooooooong!
She had to endure a kind of pain no human was capable of. Her mental body, especially, was almost torn down under the effects of the special energies from the [Genesis foutain], or as some call it, the <Afterlife> where all the energy of the mortal mental bodies goes after their lifespan ends.
[{ "Shut... up Cary. This... this is fun... don’t you see?" }]
She was acting as the connecting point between the dead AJ and that light in the sky responsible for blowing life into that corpse, something certainly absurd, but also something that was kind of fun for this half-dead lady.
[{ You are Crazy! Stupid master! }]
[{ "Hehe... you... you just, found out?" }]
There was a smile on her face as she endured the energy for the fountain of the afterlife. Took in the power that was unintentionally refining her own mental body, and though excruciatingly painful, she knew she was getting stronger with each passing second.
She was happy, and excited since the effects of this process were beyond what she had imagined at the start, and for someone like her obsessed with getting better ’him’, this was an opportunity she could not possibly slip out of her hands.
-Ooooooooooooong!
[{ Ughhhh! This is nuts! }]
[{ "Nah... this is... fruits. Ha... ha ha." }]
The light falling from the sky dimmed out soon, and as it did, the golden rings also started disappearing one after another starting with the one closest to her, above her head, which was also the smallest one of them all.
-Zaaaaaaaaaaa...
The materials, the rare things some of which they only had one piece of had vanished from the red magic circle already.
So, by the time the last of the ring, the biggest one around the light in the sky vanished alongside the light of the genesis fountain, she hell to her knees, covered in blood... the body that had been lifeless these past few minutes has started glowing.
[{ I swear in the name of the Creator, I have the dumbest most irresponsible master in this entire grand Worldline! }]
She was on the verge of death right after bringing this bastard back, so Cary had to act quickly, stabilize her Mana flow, seal the internal injuries with his own Mana, and some good healing elixirs he had on him.
This was an emergency and his master could have actually died if he had left her in that state... though, thankfully, he saved her in time as his life in this world would have no meaning if she wasn’t there to help him.
She was a mortal, a weak human mortal who, according to him, was also the dumbest person in this entire world.
But, she was also the mortal who, with her own powers, brought a person back from the waters of the afterlife.
[{ You’re unbelievable, master. }]
"Ahem ahem. Of course, dummy. Even he says... ahem! The same thing." 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
She did not cough up blood, as she had promised her.
But the ground she was standing on had turned red with the blood she had wasted in this process.
"El...!"
"Mother-, master!"
It turned out to be a tad bit more difficult than what she had thought at the start. But, thanks to Cary, she was fine now.
"Hmmm..."
And, thanks to her, someone who wasn’t supposed to die anytime soon, was also back to this bad world, with them.
"Welcome back, dumbass."
She revived him, successfully.
And though he did not understand what was happening for a moment after opening his eyes, when he saw Eva running towards him with that worried look on her pretty face, memories started coming back.
He remembered how he blew away his life for this certain person, how he finally achieved what he had longed for his entire painful life, he remembered the sensation of death... that most comfortable feeling one could ever feel in their lifetime... he remembered it all.
So, under the circumstances, he thought she was running towards him to hug him, shocked and stunned by his unexpected resurrection.
Sadly...
"You dumb girl!"
She ran and crashed into El, hugged her, and squeezed her weakened body with tears flowing down her cheeks.
"You said you wouldn’t... you dumb little girl!"
She wanted to remind her how she had promised her she wouldn’t cough up blood, but seeing how most of the blood was scattered drops, she concluded she must not have ’coughed’ blood and gulped down her words.
She didn’t like how she always did these crazy, dumb things.
"You... are a bad girl, El."
"That much everyone knows by now."
She hugged her crying Eva back, and the two stayed like that for a moment... while the dead that had just come back from the other side looked at them with pain in his newly beating heart...
Though he did not know what was happening or how Auriel got here, he thought she would greet him first after all he had done for her.
That much was at least the basic courtesy one could show to their savior.
Sadly, nothing was going to happen the way he fantasized in that brief moment.
She was still their Eva, nothing had changed even after this entire useless incident.
"Let me finish with this dumb girl, Mister Tim. We also have many things to resolve."
She was grateful for what he did. And, that was it.
She didn’t feel the sudden affection for him or anything.
Her heart was still the same as it had been before they fell here earlier...
El was getting all her affection naturally but, this reincarnated immortal would have to try the hardest he had ever done in his entire life just to get a genuine hug from this person... this person he couldn’t take his eyes away from still.
