Tsunade Can Hear My Inner Voice-Chapter 110: Asuma’s Choice
Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Asuma’s Choice
Monkey King Mountain, Enma Cave.
Two monkeys sat cross-legged, their bodies absorbing a unique energy from the surrounding air, causing their fur and skin to take on a metallic sheen.
After a long while, one of the monkeys opened his eyes, and the aura around him quickly dissipated.
"Asuma, how’s your progress?" Enma asked softly.
"I’ve now mastered Metal-Release chakra, and the initial stage of body enhancement is complete. But..." Asuma spread his hands, gazing at the thick fur covering them, and shook his head helplessly.
"Don’t worry too much. Everything happening to you is due to the influence of the ’Cursed Stone’. At the same time, it’s also the reason your strength has improved so rapidly. Every gain comes with a price—such is fate!" Enma’s words didn’t sound like they came from an ordinary monkey; instead, he spoke like a wise sage.
Asuma quickly adjusted his mindset.
"Enma-sama, I’ve looked around the mountain. The scenery is beautiful, but... why is it that aside from you, I haven’t seen a single other monkey?" Asuma asked, completely unaware that his current appearance was nearly identical to Enma’s.
If not for the Konoha jōnin vest he still wore, no one would doubt he was Enma’s brother.
"That’s a question you’ll understand in time." Enma replied evasively.
Seeing that he wouldn’t get a straight answer, Asuma closed his eyes and resumed his training. The unique technique he was cultivating now was called the Indestructible Diamond Body, which not only enhanced his physical abilities but also altered his form.
Compared to before, Asuma’s strength had increased by at least threefold.
The exhilaration brought by such rapid growth made Asuma increasingly indifferent to the outside world.
If not for Konoha, the Sarutobi clan, and Yūhi Kurenai, Asuma might have chosen to stay here, living freely as a monkey. freewebnσvel.cøm

Konoha.
"Ta-da! What do you think? Do you like it?" Tenten asked excitedly as she showed Kamizuki Hikari around.
It was a two-story house with a private garden. The moment they walked in, a burst of floral fragrance filled the air. In the corner of the garden was a small gazebo, surrounded by seasonal flowers blooming in full splendor.
The house itself was neat and tidy, clearly well-maintained by its previous owner—someone who had an eye for comfort and a taste for the finer things in life.
"The environment is nice." Hikari nodded, quite satisfied with what he saw. "But the price...?"
"For this location, Hikari-senpai, it’s a steal!" Tenten gestured, indicating the cost.
Hikari nodded; the price was reasonable.
If he could just avoid running into Tsunade for the next ten days or so—and thus avoid being swindled into treating her to expensive meals—he could afford this place without issue.
As for why the price was so reasonable—
Konoha was indeed one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages, but its population was stable, with little fluctuation.
Moreover, shinobi were a high-risk profession. Unless they had families or were jonin, most wouldn’t spend a fortune on property.
Additionally, Konoha had policies in place to support its shinobi. Becoming a special jonin granted access to a range of benefits. As for merchants, unless they were part of large trade groups, most only rented temporary lodgings when visiting.
Without the scourge of real estate speculation, most Konoha villagers could maintain a decent standard of living—provided they weren’t lazy.
"The price is fair. But wouldn’t it be a waste for just me to live here alone?" Hikari mused.
"Waste? Not at all! Hikari-senpai, you’ll definitely start a family someday. Would you really want to go house-hunting again then?" Tenten urged quietly.
She really liked the house. It was close to her own, and she’d worked her connections to negotiate a good price. Everything was ready—now she just needed Hikari to say yes.
If she weren’t worried about Hikari misunderstanding, Tenten would’ve gladly bought the house for him herself.
As Konoha’s resident "little rich girl", she could afford a house with some effort.
"Good point. Worst case, I can always have Ino and Chōji help clean up." Hikari mused, mentally applauding his own brilliance.
Now he truly understood the perks of being an instructor—free child labor.
"Um, I can help too!" Tenten blurted out, not wanting others (especially Ino) to know she’d been the one to find this place for Hikari.
As a girl, she sensed that Ino might become her greatest rival in the future.
(Ino: Even if you see me as a rival—which is flattering—why would I ever like this jerk? Unless I go blind!)
"That’d be even better! I’ll treat you to a meal then." Hikari said cheerfully.
Having a hardworking girl like Tenten volunteer to help was nothing short of a blessing.
"Then let’s go meet the landlord now!" Tenten said, though her enthusiasm had dimmed slightly.
This wasn’t the outcome she’d envisioned.
In her dreams, this would’ve been a secret little haven for just her and Hikari-senpai. She’d have been willing to exhaust herself training all day, then come here to clean without complaint—just to keep it their special place.
Alas, reality had other plans.
With Maito Gai and his two students, Hikari’s own trio of students, plus Kamizuki Izumo and his wife—once you added everyone up, there were at least ten people in the mix.
If Hikari met more people later, there’d be no secrets left.
So frustrating. She wanted to cry.
Hikari quickly signed the contract. When he paid the full amount upfront, the landlord was so delighted he nearly insisted on treating him to a feast.
Hikari politely declined—mostly because he knew that if he actually ate that much, the landlord might regret his generosity and demand a refund.
With the transaction complete, they headed to the village office to register the property. The entire process took less than half an hour.
It was only 4 PM.
Should he return to the training grounds to guide Ino-Shika-Chō?
Or should he enjoy the comfort of his new bed?
"Hikari-senpai, tomorrow, Gai-sensei plans to have our team challenge yours." Tenten reminded him, watching his indifferent expression.
Kamizuki Hikari turned and unleashed his ultimate move—
Head pat.
"It’s fine. Even if my team loses to yours, I won’t be upset... because it’s you."
’Heh. Perfect chance for those three brats to get humbled. They’ll train harder once they know their limits. Good move, Gai!’
"Then... maybe I should go easy on them tomorrow?" Tenten offered. She couldn’t imagine Ino-Shika-Chō, who’d only just begun learning their secret techniques, standing a chance against her one-on-one.
’Guy-sensei, forgive me! I’ll train extra hard later to make up for this!’ she thought guiltily.
"Absolutely not!" Hikari said solemnly. "Tenten, promise me you’ll go all out. No holding back—got it?"
