Trillionaire's Slice of Life-Chapter 312 - 220: The Reward of a Cigarette (Begging for Subscriptions)
Li Fei’s wedding house is located in Xiangyun Community on Huiyun Road; it’s not comparable to the top luxury houses in the city center that cost upwards of a hundred million, but it’s still a lot better than the suburbs.
The average price in Xiangyun Community is thirty-two thousand per square meter. Li Fei bought a small three-bedroom apartment with an area of a hundred square meters, with a total price of three million two hundred thousand. His parents contributed one million five hundred thousand, and the bride’s family added five hundred thousand, so the down payment reached two million.
The remaining one million three hundred thousand was mortgaged over thirty years, with a monthly mortgage of several thousand. For his eighteen-thousand salary, it was completely within his means.
Li Fei is actually very content, similar to Chu Mo in this regard, which is why the two can hang out together.
With Li Fei’s salary of eighteen thousand, plus the bride’s salary of just over ten thousand, the young couple’s monthly combined income exceeds thirty thousand, which is three or four hundred thousand a year. Plus, there’s considerable room for salary growth.
Together with the two million the parents contributed, ordinary people would struggle with whether to buy a larger house or one in a better location.

But Li Fei won’t do that. He knows how to enjoy life and would never push himself into a situation where he’s left with next to nothing after paying the mortgage each month, then forced to lower his standard of living,
This hundred-square-meter small three-bedroom apartment is a high-rise residence on the thirty-third floor, discounting nearly twenty square meters for the shared areas, the actual interior area isn’t that large. Add to that three bedrooms plus the living room and dining room, the smallest room could only fit a bed and there was hardly any space for even a desk.
The entire room was decorated cozily, however. The house’s interior design followed a modern minimalist style, and all the details looked very clean and straightforward. The minimalist decoration intended to make the space look neat and expansive. A lot of effort was clearly put into the color scheme and layout, as well as the choice of materials for the finishes.
As his best buddy, Chu Mo arrived at the community at 7:20 am. The wedding convoy was scheduled to set off at 7:58 because the bride was just in the suburbs of the Magic City, a mere dozen kilometers away. There would hardly be any delay along the way; they would probably reach the bride’s home by 8:20, make some noise there, and then the bride would be sent off precisely at 9:58.
Then some performances and interaction sessions were arranged at the hotel. The entire itinerary was roughly like this.
Dressed in a suit, Chu Mo arrived alone at the fifteenth-floor wedding house. It was the first time he met Li Fei’s parents, a typically kind middle-aged couple, ordinary just like his own mom and dad.
Li Fei’s home was filled with many guests that needed attention, with aunts and uncles nearly filling the entire room. Chu Mo stood at the door of the wedding house and looked around; it was really crowded. He had wanted to turn around and go downstairs for some air, but Li Fei, with a keen eye, spotted Chu Mo at the door and squeezed over with a smile on his face.
"It’s too crowded, and the place is small, so I couldn’t properly entertain you, my old classmate. Come in and sit!"
Indeed, it was too crowded. Besides Li Fei, Chu Mo didn’t recognize anyone else here. Clearly, his other classmates hadn’t arrived yet. Chu Mo wanted to refuse, but the other party grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the room.
After threading through the crowd to the bedroom, he found there were fewer people there, but still a group of youngsters gathered around playing games.
Having straightened his suit, Li Fei then gasped and said:
"I am really too busy, and it’s mentally exhausting. I have to entertain all sorts of relatives and friends. These past two days, I think I must have lost a few pounds!"
In front of his good buddy, Li Fei had no image to maintain. They had seen each other drunk and vomiting together too many times, so there was no need for pretense, and they spoke heartfelt words.
Chu Mo smiled. There was nothing he could do to help with this matter. When it was his turn to get married, he expected he would have a similar experience.
His gaze swept around the festive bedroom.
The master bedroom was predominantly warm-toned. The wall and the backdrop of the bedhead featured "Chinese red" as the base color with a golden glittering "double happiness" character cutout.
The entire wedding house was filled with a romantic atmosphere. The window side and the headboard used hanging colored silk and chiffon. The bedspread was made of embroidered fabric, traditionally matched with "dragon and phoenix facing the sun." Throughout the wedding house were dotted trinkets, candle stands, and embroidered cushions.
And all items were in pairs, signifying a union of hearts forever.
As Chu Mo was observing, his buddy suddenly threw an arm around his shoulder, then Li Fei raised an eyebrow and asked:
"How’s the thing I asked you to handle? I just saw you come up alone, where’s the bridesmaid?"
A bitter smile appeared at the corner of Chu Mo’s mouth, no wonder this guy insisted on pulling him to the bedroom, he was looking to ask about the bridesmaid.
Chu Mo had already taken care of this little matter, so there was no need for Li Fei to worry. Pointing outside the window, Chu Mo smiled and said:
"See those Phantoms and Bentleys downstairs? The bridesmaids are waiting inside them. Too many people here, it’s inconvenient to come up, so I asked them to wait in the cars. They will leave with the convoy and go directly to the bride’s place for the picking-up. You can count on me to handle things, no worries."
Upon hearing this, Li Fei immediately released Chu Mo’s neck and then slapped his shoulder with satisfaction and nodded:
"That’s what I call a true brother. By the way, did you bring those two foreign chicks?"
Upon hearing this, Chu Mo blinked in confusion, then uncertainly said:

"You mean the two foreign maids at my villa? Annie and Tina? Why would I bring them?"
