Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 827 - 357: Crimson Assault (Part 3)
"You damned bastard, disgrace!"
"Bang!"
Another loud explosion.
An overwhelmingly nauseating scent of blood erupted from Karuto. The hole that had been punched through him expanded even further, turning half of the reef's top into a broken opening.
"And you? Who are you?"
Facing Karuto, Juanlu said nothing and swung the cudgel in his hand.
Three orange-red spheres flew over, their tooth-filled mouths opening wide in the air, circling and biting down.
In response to the attack, Karuto punched each one.
Two of the three flying spheres were knocked away.
The remaining one took advantage of the cover, flew past his underarm, and viciously tore away a chunk of flesh from his chest and abdomen.
The bite was so smooth that there was no sound of flesh tearing apart. So seamless that when they both looked at the wound, no blood flowed out. Only pus resembling blood seeped out slowly, appearing unusually thick with streaks of blood.
"You really look like a monster now!" Narvi couldn't help but curse through gritted teeth as he looked at Karuto.
There was no grief or regret in his eyes, only endless fury.
"Monster? Isn't that quite good?"
Karuto, who was initially a bit crazy, seemed to have stabilized his emotions.
He glanced at the wound on his waist, unconcerned.
In the shadows, a figure flashed by.
A strong red beam flashed, but Karuto tilted his head, and the red beam cut through thin air.
The first attack was easily evaded.
The attacking Puppet Girl immediately retreated back into the shadows.
Karuto punched at the air to his side.
With a heavy punch, carrying a crimson aura, he struck the Puppet Girl out of the shadows, slamming her heavily against the stone wall.
Her body was covered with cracks from the punch.
Amidst this, various attacks came from all directions, their angles tricky and attacks subtle.
A blood-colored, semi-transparent robe attached itself to his body, automatically unfurling to envelop him completely.
Seeing this robe, Juanlu looked troubled.
Because the robe emitted a very clear aura of a Treasure.
Standing before them was Karuto, a Fourth Stage Cultist who wielded a Treasure.
It was obvious that he still worshiped an unknown Evil God and possessed its power.
Karuto, attacking downwards, continued to punch intending to launch an attack against the Puppet Girl surrounding him.
They couldn't let him continue attacking the girl.
Juanlu took a few steps forward, and the cudgel in his hand came crashing down.
Facing the attack, Karuto swung a single hand to lift his cloak in front, taking a step back to dodge.
But somehow, a biting orange-red sphere appeared at his rear instead, crashing into him heavily.
His retreating step faltered, exposing a gap in his defense for an instant.
The sudden assault forced him to take the full brunt of the cudgel's attack.
A heavy strike, massive pressure smashed onto his shoulder.
Even with the cloak's defense, it forced him to kneel on one knee due to its immense power.
He tilted his head and said to Juanlu, "I didn't expect your strength to be so formidable."
Such tremendous power actually came from the seemingly ordinary Juanlu.
Truly unexpected.
As he spoke, the cloak lifted, and from the other side, it swung from the upper right like a blade.
A flash of red light.
A deep cut appeared on Juanlu's cheek and left shoulder, with blood flowing instantly.
Then, the blood, as if drawn by threads, floated like strands in the air and gathered toward the cloak.
"Your blood is quite full of life."
A solid kick landed heavily on Juanlu's chest.
Enduring the blow, Juanlu firmly locked his hands around his leg, holding it tightly. Using the force from the kick to pull him down.
Narvi, waiting nearby, seized the opportunity to thrust the Double-Edged Sword.
Karuto dodged with effort, pulling back forcefully.
The sword aimed at his chest was thrust fiercely, stabbing right into his pulled thigh.
Fresh, red pus flowed from the wound.
A black-red metal object fell from midair, smashing into his bosom and clinging tightly to his chest and abdomen.
The bottom erupted with intense, high-concentration flames, beginning to burn his body.
The always composed Karuto let out a dreadful scream here.
His power increased instantly, and leveraging Juanlu clinging to his leg, he sprang into the air. With his other leg, enveloped in a crimson aura, he kicked fiercely to the side, directly sending Narvi flying from his thigh.
Narvi flew out, crashing heavily against the adjacent stone wall, embedding himself into it.
The sound of bones breaking came from him, leaving him momentarily incapable of resistance.
The trapped leg jerked back fiercely, its immense power carrying Juanlu along with it.
In Juanlu's incredulous eyes, he stomped heavily on the ground with him.
"Damn ants!"
