Hearing Stone Mother's final words, Alka nodded and vanished from sight in an instant.

"Will he succeed?" the little girl cradled in Stone Mother's arms asked.

"Perhaps he will. The future always holds endless possibilities, and the same goes for you."

Alka's body in reality opened his eyes and he looked at his arm.

He's back.

He really saw Stone Mother just now and saw her true form.

Kind, amiable.

Somewhat bewildered, he left the prayer room, looking at Chadite and the others standing outside the main door.

As Alka stepped out, everyone's gaze turned towards him.

"Let's go," he said.

With that, Alka quickly led everyone away from the church.

The group was rather silent on the way.

Jason and Chadite kept staring at Alka.

Feeling their gaze, Alka sighed, "Alright, ask whatever you want to ask, if it's something I can talk about."

"What did she look like?" Chadite asked eagerly.

Everyone perked up their ears.

Though it wasn't Alka's first time seeing a divine being, they had previously seen the true form of the Flower Fairy appearing in reality.

But that was a divine being long fallen, one they had never heard of before and only ever heard of once later on.

But Stone Mother is different; she is one of the Four Gods.

She is the faith Chadite and the others have believed in since childhood.

"Beautiful and gentle, like... a mother," Alka simply described.

"Did she say anything to you?"

Jason asked.

Hearing this, Alka scratched his head.

Upon reflection, it seemed she hadn't mentioned anything extraordinarily important.

More like answering some of Alka's existing questions, advising him with some information that might come in handy later.

"She told me Star River wasn't suitable for me and not to attempt to control it deeply.

She also told me why they couldn't piece together and repair the world. And that if there's anything related to world repair that needs help, I can go to any of the Four Gods Church, and they are willing to assist."

"Reasons? What reasons?" Julia immediately asked.

Alka briefly explained the reasons he knew.

"So that's the reason? The world is rejecting its former exploiters."

That indeed sounds reasonable.

The group chatted along the way and quickly returned to the ship.

Alka sat by the flowerbed, staring at the ring on his hand.

Although he wouldn't try to make it a part of himself, using it at this stage posed no issue.

To be honest, because of the sudden summons of the Holy Mother, Alka hadn't had the mindset to experience the power this Scepter-level Treasure offers.

No one rested; they were all on the deck watching Alka.

"At this stage, I'm not familiar with controlling this treasure, possibly due to my strength, thus the range of abilities I can use is limited,"

Alka said while perceiving the treasure and voicing his conclusions.

Fourth Stage is the minimum standard to wield a Scepter-level ability. Trying to delve deep into using this treasure under that standard is clearly impossible.

A faint starlight shimmered around Alka, looking quite fascinating as if it was some kind of special effect around him.

Then Alka, buoyed by the starlight, slowly floated into the sky.

On the ship, only Chadite and Alka could fly.

Chadite transformed into a beam of light, soaring rapidly into the sky. Alka imitated winged creatures to glide in the air.

Then Alka floated back down, landing on the deck.

"What happened?" Chadite asked, puzzled as Alka floated briefly before descending.

"Not practiced enough, didn't dare to fly around recklessly,"

Even in mid-air, he felt wobbly, unable to control it properly. To fly swiftly like a meteor, he must become proficient first.

Then, star-like starlight merged into Alka's fist, and he waved lightly.

The power of starlight flew out, landing on the sea nearby.

The splash was small, without much impact.

But this change drew everyone's attention.

This implied that the power was highly concentrated, meaning it had strong penetration and was fast enough.

It even had a stealthy characteristic.

Alka practiced attacking on the deck.

This time, he used melee rather than distance attacks.

His attacks were so fast they seemed to leave a meteor-like trail in the air.

"Attack speed increased, attack power enhanced, and it seems to have some peculiar attributes,"

Alka couldn't quite grasp what kind of effects these starlight-like attributes had in attacks.

Then he noticed the patrol soldiers pacing outside the warehouse, and despite nighttime, the bustling port.

The surrounding ships coming and going.

Evidently, this wasn't an ideal testing ground.

"Forget it, I'll familiarize myself for a few days first, then see what level I can reach,"

Proficiently using this Scepter-level treasure isn't something achievable overnight.

What Alka had just done was the most basic and simple usage.

He needed to experiment thoroughly based on the ring's condition and the information in his mind.

Those beside him nodded in agreement.

"Seems like this treasure indeed doesn't quite suit you yet," Simon said with a smile.

Alka also nodded in agreement upon hearing this.

Truly not easy.

There wasn't that effortless feeling; it was a bit like when he first mastered the Dream Catcher.

It would take a long time to become familiar and adept at using the abilities this treasure provides.
