Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 128: I didn’t beg
Chapter 128: I didn’t beg
"I’m going to give you exciting novels that can’t be found in this world. And... Only I can give them to you."
My words sounded like crap to Seo-Jun because he ended up laughing at my words.
"What bullshit are you spewing just to get me to give you the antidote?" He asked, but I kept my expression straight. "Do you think I’m dumb? Novels that only you know? What are you? A time traveler?"
Technically, yes, but how would you know?
"They’re not novels from the future." I said. "They are otherworldly novels that aren’t available in this world."
"Stop shitting me. You’re lying through your teeth in your desperation, and you think I’ll believe you?" He asked, his eyebrows knitted as his face contorted in anger.
It looked like he hated being deceived. Yes, Seo-Jun was one character who hated being deceived, but it seemed like he had no worries about deceiving me, though.
Anyway, he was the kind who spoke the truth even at the expense of angering the other person because he feared no one.
And the only times he resorted to deceit were if he was up against someone he hated.
So, congratulations to me for being someone Seo-Jun hated.
"No, you won’t believe me because you’re very smart." I said. "But I’m sure you’ll be able to tell if I’m just saying these things. I can’t run and I can’t hide from you. So, if I’m lying about a book I’ve read, you can definitely get back at me."
He was skeptical, but he couldn’t exactly deny that I might be telling the truth because of how confident I sounded and how much spark I had in my eyes.
"And where did you get this otherworldly novel from?" He asked, and I opened my lips, planning to answer right away, but what could I say?
"It’s a trade secret." It wasn’t like he would believe me if I suddenly said I had died, reincarnated into another world, lived there for more than 30 years, and then came back here.
I’d be tagged as crazy, and he’d make sure to send me to an asylum.
Phew... My life was hard.
I noticed that though this world was a reflection of the other world, there were a lot of things that were missing.
Anyway, I know a bunch of interesting novels that he hadn’t read. All I had to do was write them for him, and if I couldn’t write it, I’d become a storyteller.
"If you’re talking bullshit and just trying to sell some make believe crap, I will--"
"Do whatever you like with me." I said confidently, and then he knew I was telling the truth.
For someone who didn’t want to give out their ass for any reason, even when it was what he was bought for, to offer up that same ass as collateral, it could only mean they were telling the truth.
"Fine." He went in and picked up a vial that had a red liquid. "This is the antidote." I was going to take it when he lifted his hand and said, "You’re pretty cute when you’re begging."
"I didn’t beg." I said and carefully snatched the vial from him. "I made an offer. It was up to you to accept or reject it, but you’re as book-stuck as I am, which made things easier for me." I turned around and started leaving.
He watched me for a while, and I could feel his eyes. I didn’t know what he was looking at though but I hoped he wasn’t checking out my ass. That was just creepy.
I hurried back to Ki-hoon’s room, and as soon as I opened it, I was met with his violent Pheromones. I immediately shut the door and shook my head.
"Nope. This isn’t going to work."
I had to find another way to give him the antidote without exposing my body to his Pheromones.
"What’s going on?" I heard Min-Cheol’s voice and turned to find him approaching with his headphones hanging around his neck. "You look out of breath."
Thank the heavens for this cutie.
"Little Min, there’s a problem." I said, and as he got closer, he caught on to Ki-hoon’s Pheromones, and he frowned.
"What’s going on in there?"
I explained things to him as briefly as I could, and Min-Cheol’s eyes went dark. He hated Seo-Jun already, so knowing he tried to do such a thing made his blood boil.
But he can think of killing that bastard later. Right now...
"Can you get this antidote to Ki-hoon? I’m worried about him." I said, and Min-Cheol looked at the vial with red liquid. He looked reluctant. Was it because I said I was worried about Ki-hoon?
He was a competitive child, this one. If he doesn’t get the vial to Ki-hoon, I might have to go get Seo-Jun, but I don’t want to ask that guy for help after he’s made me go through so much in one day.
"I’m scared I’ll have to take responsibility if things get out of hand and..." He immediately snatched the vial from my hand, and my lips slightly tilted up.
He was so easy.
"I’ll do it." He said.
He was definitely competitive, and the thought that I might have to actually give up my body to someone else as a form of responsibility didn’t bode well with him.
’I just need to keep taming these kitties, then it’ll be fine.’ I thought as I watched him enter the room. He made sure to close the door to prevent the Pheromones from leaking in my direction.
It was a wonder how he was able to survive in that thick, violent Pheromone. But an Alpha was an Alpha after all.
I bit my nails as I waited impatiently. What was taking so long? I hope it wasn’t too late.
Or... I gasped as I thought of the possibility of Ki-hoon tackling Min-Cheol as soon as he got to him and they were... My body shuddered with goosebumps, and I clapped my face repeatedly.
No, no, no, get that thought out of your head, Jo-Pil. That can’t happen. It’s basically impossible because they’re both Alphas.
Even if he attacked Min-Cheol, Min-Cheol could fight back with his Pheromones. But what if in the process, the vial broke?
"Ah!" I screamed in fright as I held my head and began twisting and turning as if I was going mad.
Why the hell was I having these random thoughts?!
Then, the door finally opened, and Min-Cheol walked out.
"Little Min," I wanted to hurry to him, but the Pheromones were stuck on him, so I took a step back while holding my nose.
"It’s fine," Min-Cheol said, dusting the Pheromones off his body. "I forced him to take the antidote and he’s asleep right now."
