Nie Yujie entered her apartment with a smile on her face but that smile disappeared when she saw Gu Zhen waiting for her.

"Why are you here?" She asked coldly.

"And here I was thinking that you destroying Yang Jia’s face will make you happy." Gu Zhen said sarcastically.

Nie Yujie scoffed and replied, "It did make me happy but seeing you takes my happiness away."

Gu Zhen smiled sadly and asked"Are you satisfied? What more do you need to do to Yang Jia before I kill her?"

Nie Yujie frowned and asked, "Are you going to kill her?"

Gu Zhen shrugged and said "Anything for you." He walked closer to her and gently caressed her hair, before leaning down and brushing his lips to hers. Seeing no resistance from Nie Yujie, Gu Zhen kissed her fervently, he pulled apart and whispered "Let me pleasure you tonight, please baby."

"Yes." Nie Yujie moaned out as she felt his lips on her neck.

And just as promised, right there in the living room, Gu Zhen spared no effort in bringing pleasure to his wife all night.

"Kids, it’s time for breakfast." Yang Meiyi shouted.

"Wait! Don’t run." Fu Liang said to his little sister who was running to the dining table.

Fu Mingze came out of his study to this scene and Fu Mei who was running to the dining table turned when she heard the door to her father’s study open and immediately switched direction.

Fu Mingze chuckled when the little girl ran to him and said "I’m glad to see that I am more important to you than food."

Fu Mei smiled and stretched forth her hands, asking her father to carry her, which he did with no hesitation.

Fu Liang on the other hand ran to his mother and blushed brightly when she kissed him on both cheeks.

"Go sit at the table, mummy made you your favorite." Yang Meiyi said. Who would have thought that she would one day have such an adorable son and a beautiful daughter?

The family ate their breakfast with a smile on their face and Xia Lian took both kids to school.

Turns out that Fu Mingze had no issue in convincing his daughter to start school.

After the kids went to school, Fu Mingze hugged his wife from behind and said "I love you."

Yang Meiyi smiled and replied, "I love you too." She closed her eyes when she felt his lips on her neck and sighed as his lips moved to her shoulder, however, their romantic moment was interrupted by Fu Mingze’s ringing phone.

Fu Mingze groaned in frustration and said "Give me a moment."

Yang Meiyi chuckles and turns to face him "Who is it?"

"It’s your father." Fu Mingze replied and answered.

Yang Meiyi wondered why her father was suddenly calling Fu Mingze and her curiosity increased when she saw a displeased look on her husband’s face.

She waited for him to end the call before asking "What is it? Has he found Tao Luqi?"

"In a way, he has. He said we should meet him at your mother’s grave." Fu Mingze said softly.

"But why there?" Yang Meiyi asked, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.

Seeing the worried look in his wife’s eyes, Fu Mingze cupped her cheek and said "Don’t, worry, no matter what happens you are not alone. I’m right here."

Yang Meiyi nodded and hugged him, taking comfort in his embrace.

Fu Mingze and Yang Meiyi arrived at Sang Xiu’s grave. They immediately saw Tao Hui there, just standing without saying anything.

Yang Meiyi placed the flowers she had brought with her on the grave and softly called out "Dad, are you all right? Why did you want to meet here?"

Tao Hui looked at his daughter with a sad smile and said "That’s because this is where your mother and sister were buried."

"What? What do you mean by sister? Are you saying Tao Luqi is dead, how can you even be so sure?"

"When I found out that you were not Tao Luqi, I started my search for my little girl, and with the help of Fu Mingze, I was able to find out how I mistook you for Tao Luqi."

"It turned out that one of the men Yang Jia and Ye Qingyi hired couldn’t bring himself to kill you, according to him, and though you may not remember it, he said there was a time you had helped his mother and defended her when she was being humiliated and therefore he couldn’t repay your kindness with evil so he saved you from the fire." Fu Mingze said.

Yang Meiyi looked at Fu Mingze and then at her father as she said "But a body was found in the fire."

"That was the body of his ex-girlfriend. According to him, he killed her by mistake and he saw that fire as a way of getting rid of her, all he just had to do was remove the necklace that Fu Mingze gave you and place it on her neck, and luckily for him, the body was burnt without any recognition and because of the necklace, Fu Mingze thought it was you." Tao Hui explained.

"But all this still doesn’t mean that Tao Luqi is dead, I’m sure she is alive somewhere, we just need to find her without giving up." Yang Meiyi insisted.

"Coincidentally, both you and Tao Luqi were rushed to the same hospital because she had a car accident and the man who saved you saw her and when the doctor asked him what happened to you, he said you were involved in a car hospital." Fu Mingze said.

"And that is why when I got to the hospital to ask for my daughter, when I told them she was involved in a car accident and showed them a picture of you, I was immediately directed to you and then you woke up without any memory while Tao Luqi died few minutes after getting to the hospital and that damn bastard claim her body as a family member." Tao Hui said trying to control his tears.

"Dad." Yang Meiyi softly called out.

"My daughter died and I had no idea. She must have been so cold, was she lonely, did she think that I abandoned her? Did she know that I was always watching her and immediately rushed to the hospital when I heard about her accident?" Tao Hui asked aloud as he finally broke into tears.

Fu Mingze’s heart felt heavy seeing Tao Hui’s tears, he didn’t even want to think how he would feel if anything were to happen to his daughter, just the thought of never being able to see his little ones again, scared him badly. The only reason, Tao Luqi decided to pardon that man was because he went out of his way to find Sang Xiu’s grave and bury Tao Luqi beside her before fleeing the country.

Yang Meiyi hugged her father tightly and said "It isn’t your fault. Wherever she is, I can assure you that she isn’t lonely because she is here with her mother. You said she had always wanted to be with mom right, then I’m sure, mom will protect her from now on. It’s just like before dad, she is with Mom, while I am with you."

Tao Hui nodded and sobbed in his daughter’s arms.
