"If you sighed again I swear I will just lock you up in that wardrobe," Xiangxi said looking at the pile of clothes that her niece had thrown to the bed.

"But I don’t have anything to wear, all my clothes are old."

"All your clothes are from top designers including yourself and some are even limited edition, what is old about them? I think you are just nervous."

"Nervous? Why will I be nervous?" Tao Luqi asked without looking at her aunt.

"I am not in love with Fu Mingze, I’m just doing what you have advised me to do, I am exploring my feelings."

"But you feel guilty. You are engaged to Dai Shuo but you are about to secretly travel to meet Fu Mingze, the man you truly want, and even though you have told Dai Shuo that you need a little break you are still scared, you are scared that after you return from this trip, the break you have asked from Dai Shuo might become a permanent one." Xiangxi said watching her niece’s reaction.

Tao Luqi turned to face her aunt as she said "I hate it when you are right."

"And I am usually right," Xiangxi said with a gasp.

"When I spoke to Dai Shuo today, I just couldn’t say it."

Xiangxi frowned and asked "What do you mean by you just couldn’t say it? Are you saying that you didn’t ask Dai Shuo for a break?"

"I tried, I promise I did but I just couldn’t say it." Tao Luqi said as tears threatened to fall from her eyes.

" ’Dai Shuo, I think we need a break.’ " Xiangxi said, she looked at her niece and asked, "How could that have been so hard for you to say."

"Because before I started saying anything, Dai Shuo started talking about dreams and the future for us and Tao Mei after marriage, he just looked so happy that I just got scared for a moment."

Xiangxi slammed her palm on her head and said "My little peach has the softest of heart. I hope my Tao Mei doesn’t take after you because that would be a problem."

"I like Fu Mingze and I will just use this week to spend time with him, no one has to know, especially Dai Shuo. I know what I am doing is wrong but I can’t help what I feel for Fu Mingze, I just can’t help it Aunt Xixi."

Xiangxi sighed and said "Fine but once you are back you have to be clear of your feelings Tao Luqi. You have to be clear on who you want, either Fu Mingze or Dai Shuo."

"Yeah, I understand."

Xiangxi hugged Tao Luqi and said, "It’s alright to be confused, just don’t take too long to settle things."

"Come in." Dai Shuo said, knowing that it was his secretary at the door.

His secretary came in with a smile on her face and said "The Fu group had agreed to have a meeting with us to discuss sponsoring our next project."

"Really?" Dai Shuo asked in surprise. He has been trying to get the Fu group to agree to his proposal and for a moment he has even given up hope until this good news just came.

"According to Mr Fu’s secretary, Mr Fu has gone on a business trip and the meeting will be after he is back from his trip."

"That is alright, just ensure you follow this up and urge them to set a date immediately after the meeting."

The secretary smiled and replied, "Yes sir."

Immediately the secretary replied, her phone rang, she answered and after a few seconds, removed the phone from her ears and said to Dai Shuo "There is a woman named Ye Qingyi who wishes to see you. Should I tell them to allow her in?"

Dai Shuo frowned as he wondered why Fu Mingze’s fiancee was here to see him, he nodded his head and said "Send her in."

The secretary nodded and left.

A few minutes later, Ye Qingyi barged into Dai Shuo’s office and asked "Did you know that your fiancee and my soon-to-be husband are currently in the same city?"

"What?"

"Judging by your expression I guess you didn’t know either."

"Are you trying to accuse Tao Luqi of something disgusting? If you came here for that then please leave my office right this minute."

"You trust her that much?" Ye Qingyi asked angrily.

"Yes, I do. And I advise you to not get married to a man that you don’t even trust."

"If you truly believe that I am lying then I dare you to go to Zang City with me, not only will you see Luqi there with my fiance but you will also realize what a whore she is."

"Get out." Dai Shuo said in anger and when Ye Qingyi refused to leave, he said "If you don’t leave right now, I am going to call security to drag you out of my office so get out, and if you repeat this behavior, I will just cut off that useless tongue of yours."

Ye Qingyi looked at Dai Shuo in disbelief and scoffed with disdain before walking out of his office.

After she left, Dai Shuo dialed Tao Luqi’s number but the call wasn’t going through. She had told him that she was going to attend a fashion show in Zang City and would take a week there, but could it be that she had lied to him and she was really with Fu Mingze right now? No, that isn’t possible, he shouldn’t let the words of a vicious woman like Ye Qingyi get to him. Tao Luqi would never lie to him, she would never betray him and he is sure of that.
