"You don’t look happy to see me," Tao Hui said with a frown and asked, "And are you planning on making me stand here or will you invite me in?"

"Of course, come in." Tao Luqi said with a nervous laugh, hoping for Fu Mingze to not come out of Tao Mei’s room because how was she going to explain the presence of Fu Mingze in her house?

Tao Hui sighed and said "I heard about your collapse so I rushed back, how are you doing? Tell me, are you feeling better? What did the doctor say, what drugs did he prescribe for you?"

"Dad! Calm down, I’m fine. Fu Mingze rushed me to the hospital and the doctor said I only needed rest. If you had told me that you were coming then I would have never agreed to it." Tao Luqi said with a smile. She hugged her father and said "How come I got such a worrisome father? You always worry over the little things."

Tao Hui sighed and said "To you, they are little but to me, they are not. You and my granddaughter are the most precious people in my life plus I have lost you before, I just don’t want that to repeat itself."

"It won’t. And Dad, don’t ever say it’s just me and Tao Mei that are the most precious people to you, if aunt hears about it she will come for your head."

Tao Hui chuckles and says, "Speaking of your aunt, she sent me a message of her coming to Country M in a week."

"Really! Aunt Xiangxi is coming to Country M, I thought she hated here."

"She does, but she misses both you and Tao Mei and as for me, she has asked for me to not show my face in front of her till she leaves." Tao Hui said with a smile. He was already used to his sister’s antics so it was quite difficult for him to get offended because of it.

"You and aunt always argue but in the end come back together."

"And also, I told her about the good news, that both you and Dai Shuo will soon tie the knot. You should have seen the way she was happy, one would think she is the one getting married instead." Tao Hui said with a scoff.

Tao Luqi’s smile faltered at her father’s words and the realization that she was kissing another man a few minutes ago dawned on her and the worst part was there was no guilt in her, not even a little one.

"Tao Luqi?"

Tao Luqi came out of her daze when she heard her name and said "Yes Dad."

"Where has your mind been? I have been asking about my granddaughter, is she in her room?" Tao Hui asked as he attempted to walk into Tao Mei’s room but Tao Luqi held his hand and said

"Tao Mei isn’t in her room, I asked Dai Qiao to watch her for a few hours before I go pick her up."

Tao Hui nodded in understanding and asked "Have you eaten? Do you want me to order something for you?’

"No Dad, I just need to get some rest, I’m sure after two or three hours of sleep, I will be good as new."

"Ok. If that’s the case then I will take my leave, I’m just glad you are alright." Tao Hui said and he kissed his daughter’s forehead before turning to leave but he suddenly stopped and turned to Tao Luqi as he asked "Did you by any chance remember anything?" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Tao Luqi frowned slightly at that and said "No, I didn’t remember anything."

Tao Hui nodded and said, "Get some rest." Before leaving.

As soon as he left, Fu Mingze came out of Tao Mei’s room and said "Your dad loves you."

Tao Luqi turned to look at him and said, "Yes he does and thank you for not coming out."

Fu Mingze nodded and smiled as he said "The children love the toys, especially Fu Liang. I think he would have loved anything that was bought for him by you."

"I love him too, he is just so cute." Tao Luqi said.

"And me, what do you feel about me?"

"I.....I don’t know. I can’t think straight when I’m near you and I get jealous whenever I see Ye Qingyi with you. I love it when you kiss me and wish for you to never stop but I’m also realistic Fu Mingze, you only look at me the way you do because I resemble your wife and apart from that you are engaged and so am I, so this will never work out."

"Are you saying you want us to stop? I don’t love Ye Qingyi and I’m sure you aren’t in love with Dai Shuo either "

"That does not mean I enjoy cheating on him. Dai Shuo has always been there for me, he has always shown nothing but love and kindness."

"And that is why you said yes to him? Were you planning on spending the rest of your life with a man you feel nothing but gratitude for?" Fu Mingze asked in anger.

"Then what should I have done? Tao Mei kept asking me who are father was, should I have told her that I had lost my memory so I have no idea who would have knocked me up, should I have kept waiting to remember if there was someone I loved? Dai Shuo was my chance of happiness, it was my daughter’s chance to have a father and I took it and if I had never met you then I would never have regretted that choice."

"So you are saying you regret saying yes to Dai Shuo?" Fu Mingze asked and as he finally noticed her empty ring finger, he knew the answer before she said

"Yes, because I desire you and I know it’s wrong, so wrong but even at this moment I can’t stop myself from wanting you. Is it just me or is it the same for you as well?"

Fu Mingze moved closer to her until he was only an inch away from her, he cupped her cheek and brushed his lips with hers as he replied "If you knew how much I want you then you would never have asked me that?"

Tao Luqi closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened them, she grabbed Fu Mingze’s hand and led him to her room, she locked the door and she turned to look at him saying "I want you to show me just how much you want me."

Fu Mingze smiled at her request, he unbuttoned his suit jacket throwing it to the floor. He then rolled up his sleeves and knelt before her.

Tao Luqi was surprised for a moment when Fu Mingze knelt. She wanted to say something but no words could come out from her mouth so she just watched as he raised her gown and kissed her thighs gently.

Tao Luqi gasped softly when she felt his lips on her thighs and her soft gasp became loud moans as his lips went upward.

Tao Luqi covered her mouth in an attempt to quiet down her moans but all to no avail but the plead for more left her mouth as Fu Mingze showed her just how much he wanted her.
