Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 437; Honeymoon phase 4 (h)
Zhihao fell silent, jaw clenched. He wasn’t afraid of his father, he was irritated that he couldn’t protect his mother the way he wanted to, and this man was bringing her everywhere, risking her life.
Feihao leaned into the camera, blinking curiously, trying to defuse the tension. "Momma... is the ocean pretty?"
Tang Fei instantly brightened. "Beautiful! The water is so clear, you can see little fish swimming around your feet. I’ll send you videos, okay? When we have time, I’ll bring you all here."
Tinghao, who had been quiet until now, suddenly spoke up politely. "Momma... what are you eating?"
Before Tang Fei could answer, Huo Ting Cheng pulled the seafood platter into view, lifting a giant crab claw to the camera like a trophy.
"Your momma is eating well," he announced, his voice calm but possessive. "Better than she does at home."
"Dad," Zhihao sighed helplessly, "please let us talk to Momma first... You’re becoming a roadblock."
Tang Fei laughed out loud. "Hahaha! You boys are really bullying your father today."
Huo Ting Cheng turned to look at her, eyes dark with warning. "You find that funny?"
She only winked at him in response.
From the screen, Minghao shifted uncomfortably and bit her lip. "Momma, we just miss you. It’s strange when you’re not home. The house feels... empty."
Tang Fei’s smile softened into something warm and tender, her heart aching. "Aww, baby... Mommy misses you too. All of you."
The boys exchanged quick glances, trying to hide how relieved they looked to hear that.
"Dad..." Zhihao spoke again, his voice more controlled now. "Just... bring her back safely."
Huo Ting Cheng’s expression froze for a second, something tight and unreadable flickered in his eyes at his son’s earnest tone.
Then he leaned in, jaw set with determination.
"I always do."
Tang Fei looked between them, sensing the thick tension hanging in the air. She clapped her hands lightly, breaking the moment.
"Enough. Daddy is just being grumpy because his food is getting cold. We’ll call you all later before bedtime, okay? Be good, no fighting, and listen to Auntie."
"Yes, Momma..."
"Yes, Mom..."
"Okay, Mommy..."
They each said their goodbyes, lingering a little too long on the screen before it finally went dark.
The moment the call ended, Tang Fei exhaled and leaned back against her chair, the tension draining from her shoulders.
Huo Ting Cheng didn’t speak. He simply stared at her with an intensity that made her skin prickle.
"What?" she blinked, meeting his gaze.
"You told them we came here for business," he murmured slowly, leaning in closer.
"Yeah... what did you want me to say? ’Hey kids, Daddy dragged me away for a secret honeymoon because he didn’t want you four interrupting’?"
His eyes darkened, possessive and heated, a predatory gleam entering them.
"That’s exactly what we’re here for," he said, his voice dropping to a dangerous rumble. "And once you finish eating...."
He gently tilted her chin up with his fingers, his thumb brushing across her lower lip in a deliberate caress.
"....I plan to fully remind you."
Her breath hitched, heat pooling in her stomach.
"But first..." he grumbled, sliding back into his chair with visible reluctance, "...those brats ruined the mood."
Tang Fei snorted, shaking her head. "They didn’t ruin anything."
He raised an eyebrow skeptically.
She leaned forward, her voice dropping to a whisper. "If anything... they gave me time to miss you."
The look on Huo Ting Cheng’s face shifted, dangerously slow, intensely focused, like a predator that had just spotted its prey.
Without another word, he stood up, reached down, and picked her up from her seat as though she weighed nothing at all. He began striding purposefully toward the corridors before entering the elevator that would take them down to the underwater luxury suites.
"Huo Ting Cheng! My food..."
"You can eat later."
His voice dipped low, sending delicious shivers racing down her spine.
"I’m eating you first."
Tang Fei’s protests died in her throat as he carried her, never stopping his kisses. Soon, the elevator chimed, and they stepped out. This area was reserved exclusively for VIP rooms catering to the wealthy and influential.
Part Two: An Unwelcome Interruption
The elevator doors had barely opened when a woman, completely naked, stumbled into them. She was breathless, visible bruises marking her body like a grotesque canvas of violence.
"Please... I can’t take it anymore..." she whispered, her voice hoarse and breaking. The desperation in her eyes told a story of prolonged suffering.
Tang Fei’s romantic haze evaporated instantly, replaced by something sharp and protective.
Two men wearing black suits emerged from another elevator, clearly guards.
"Bring her back here. She’s embarrassing me," a male voice called from behind them.
Tang Fei hurriedly removed the towel that had been draped over her shoulders and carefully wrapped it around the trembling woman.
"Please... help me... help me..." The girl begged, and from her voice, you could tell she was at the absolute end of her endurance.
Huo Ting Cheng had wanted to sweep his wife away and continue what they’d started, but he knew her too well. She was too kind, too fierce in her sense of justice not to interfere.
He sighed internally and signaled with a subtle gesture. Immediately, five shadow guards materialized from seemingly nowhere, restraining the two guards and the man who wore only shorts.
"Why are you treating her like this?" Tang Fei was livid that in such a place, someone was being brutalized so openly. Why would a person spend money, so much money to bring you to a staycation or vacation and then treat you like this?
"She just doesn’t listen to whatever I tell her. Can’t I discipline my wife? Let go of my men!" The man responded arrogantly, taking a drag from his cigarette as he sauntered forward.
"What kind of discipline is this?" Tang Fei’s voice cut like a blade. "If you’re tired of someone’s daughter, can’t you....
