TRANSMIGRATED WITH A HYPERMARKET SYSTEM-Chapter 89 - 88: PROGRESS
Susan had been quite pretty busy after receiving the designs from Alayna, they were simply too good and she wanted to see them coming to life as soon as possible.
Susan’s bookshop was actually big enough and have more space equivalent to some modern cafes, so the designs that Alayna picked were those of a book cafe from the internet.
It wasn’t like she was stealing since no one will ever know, it wasn’t everyone who knew about other worlds out there anyway.
The café needed to be homey and give people that sense of comfort and belonging. Above all, it needed to have enough space and not be too tight like it was before.
So, the designs basically relied on the bookshelves themselves; the bookshop will be a place where one can read comfortably, rest, and enjoy some snacks if necessary and if they have them.
The work that needed to be done was basically to find a carpenter and provide the designs for the shelves to be made. The carpenter she had contracted was very good at his work and he was fast.
It was going to take a while before all bookshelves were done but she was being patient and was going to wait until it was perfect.
While she waited for the bookshelves to be made, she was also busy going around for some books. So many people didn’t want their books and throw them away, so it was another good chance for her to find books for free despite their genres.
During that period, she gathered quite a lot and also came up with ideas if she ever writes a book in the future.
One day when she was busy admiring the few shelves that had just been put in place, she received an unexpected visitor and to be honest she was very happy.
Alayna who had been so busy for the whole week came to find her of her own accord.
"I wasn’t expecting you, how are you?"
Alayna smiled as she looked around, "this place is looking fine. I am doing okay, how are you doing?"
"Busy as you can see but everything is coming out perfectly," Susan answered happily to the question.
"That’s good, I am glad to see this. I just came to talk to you about something, are you free?"
Susan didn’t have anything to do after monitoring the placement of the shelves so she nodded her head, "yes, I am."
"That’s good then, let’s talk."
Susan as the host gave Alayna somewhere to sit first before taking out some water to drink as she didn’t have anything nice to give to her guest.
"I have brought you a copy of the book that I told you about and I want to know if you know how to bind it and make the papers into a proper book," Alayna said as she took out the copy from her storage ring.
Susan looked at the expensive paper that was neatly written and she began to itch for a read. Just what kind of a story was that special to use such paper that was that expensive?
"Yes, you can trust me and leave me to it," as a bookkeeper and a bookshop owner, how can she not know about this simple thing.
"Good then. I will tell you about what I need to be done."
Alayna began to describe to Susan what she wants her book to look like. She couldn’t put any drawings on the covers at the moment but it was okay as she was planning to do something crazy in the future especially back home.
As everyone in Draak and nearby places knew of how unique and crazy some of the things she sells, she didn’t need to fear about distributing a normal novel.
She will consider publishing a proper novel in the future when the story is fully done, so for now, she won’t waste her money-making novels using her system but rely on others to write and copy.
She gave Susan stern instructions and showed her an example of what she wanted before talking about money. After a long talk, Alayna left the fifty copies to Susan before leaving.
Susan was in awe as soon as she started reading the story that she felt greatly motivated. Seeing what a child can write, she was now determined to make a name of herself otherwise dying without anyone knowing something about you is a pity.
After leaving the copies with Susan, Alayna was finally free for some other things. She was very satisfied with Nancy’s work so she decided on testing her more.
Of course, she wasn’t going to do this forever but just one more time before letting her come to the shop for some interning and this can be done when she is free and doesn’t have to go to work.
She didn’t want to let her leave her job abruptly as that will leave her with a bad record, which is not a good thing.
Alayna decided on dealing with Selena’s issues, her friend was truly talented in designing but she wanted to help the other. Selena had sold her those three pieces at such a low price and she wanted to do something for her.
Although she wasn’t talented at drawing, she has resources that can help her greatly. So, she printed two designs she felt that they were worthy of going viral if crafted nicely and decided to give them to Selena when she sees the other.
Or she may as well give it to one of her children when she sees them the next day and that is exactly what she did.
Selena who suddenly received a package from Alayna was so happy, it wasn’t every day that she gets to receive gifts or parcels, so her curiosity was piqued.
And when she opened the envelope, she was stunned, dumbfounded, and speechless that she found tears streaming down her cheeks. Luckily, she was by herself when she opened it otherwise, she would have caused a scene.

’You are truly one good friend.’
With such a good thing with her, Selena was feeling itchy already and began to study these two designs and try to find a way where she can completely understand them in her own way and make them as soon as possible.
Alayna didn’t know what her friend was up to as after work that day, she spends her time in bed chatting with the kids and hearing what was happening on the other side.
It’s been over two weeks since she arrived in this new content and she was missing home greatly. Her teleportation ring was useful in moments like these but what if she receives a penalty for just returning without permission.
After chatting with the kids, she read the new chapter Merita released before browsing the internet for some news and entertainment.
The next day, Alayna received a guest whom she was very happy to see. Luckily the other came when she was about to close so she could have time to entertain the other.
Selena despite her happiness of receiving the designs, wanted to see Alayna in person and thank her, so she decided to come and see the other.
Alayna closed the shop and tagged along with Selena who brought her to her home where she was introduced to the family.
It was the first time that she was sitting with another family for dinner after a very long time, so she was very happy about this.
She met Selena’s husband and she was quite surprised to see that the man’s cultivation was lower than Selena and hers but the love in his eyes was enough for her to be at ease.
After all, some men were so shameless that they didn’t even mind using women for their own benefit.
After the wonderful dinner, the two ladies talked a lot about the designs mostly and Alayna gave her input which wasn’t much as designing wasn’t her forte and she didn’t know much about it.
Alayna returned back to her shop around midnight and she went straight to bed since she was tired.
The next day, it was a day off once again and this time she decided to not linger around the center of the city. What if she comes across Selena or someone else who knows her? doesn’t that mean that she will be stuck and won’t get a chance to explore as much as she wants.
Alayna decided to check a nearby town since there wasn’t anything new in the city. She used her teleportation ring to leave the city without leaving her own shop at all.
The town was still hours away and walking wasn’t a good idea, so teleporting was faster. Alayna showed up a few miles away from the town and she was in a forest, making it easier to not get spotted.
Alayna scanned her surroundings first before taking out her little drone for some adventure.
"Hello guys, so today I will be exploring this town. I heard that there is a hot spring and other fascinating things there. I hope that it will be great as mentioned."
Alayna stored her phone away and left the forest. She began to walk as she checked around with interest and curiosity. While walking she happened to come across a horse carriage and judging from the way it looked, it was probably commercial.
