TRANSMIGRATED WITH A HYPERMARKET SYSTEM-Chapter 124 - 122: UNTITLED
Alayna’s job became dropping and picking up Merita at school every day, and to be honest, she felt jubilant every day.
It made her very proud that she could also do this and at the same time, it made her think about the problem that was going to face when she won’t be at home.
Olinda was already enough to learn driving but Alayna didn’t have time to teach her yet. Since the kids couldn’t use cars, they could at least use a carriage when she is not around.
Alayna decided to go and buy a good carriage in Ciliren as well as some horses. At the same time, she will buy some slaves to work for her. At least slaves will not dare to betray her.
She wasn’t bold enough to hire normal servants as temptations were everywhere and even she would get tempted easily if given what she wants.
Alayna didn’t have a lot of rooms to accommodate people if she brings home some, so she was forced to buy a cabin from the system shop as well as a temporary stable for the horses and a shed to park the carriage when bought.
When all was done, she left the kids and teleported to Ciliren. As she didn’t have a house in the city, she visited her business partner who helped her to acquire a building that was still being renovated at the moment.
Janet’s father moved very swiftly and gave her an experienced servant to help her. Alayna was very grateful and let the male servant accompany her to the market for some shopping.
They first went to the slave market and to be honest, Alayna was filled with so much pity as she looked at the slaves.
’They are also people like me and yet our circumstances are so different. This is life, at some point, I was also struggling just to earn a living. To think that I was so useless that I could be discarded at any time….ahhh… life is truly unfair. But what can we do about it?

I can’t change the world and how it deals with things, but as long as that happiness is spread to some people then that is all that matters. Maybe in the future, I will buy some slaves and let them settle in Athalia, that place needs residents and it will be for the best if everyone is part of my family!’
This is how a crazy plan was formulated and in the future, Athalia village became a place everyone envied to be. But that is something for another day.
Alayna looked carefully at the slaves and listened to the sellers as they dramatically advertised their merchandise.
At the moment, she wanted a housekeeper, someone mature who will be able to look after her kids when she is not around. She also wanted a male servant who will be in charge of taking care of the horses and other miscellaneous things that needed to be taken care of.
She currently didn’t need a lot of servants, so buying two or four was already enough for her. in the future when the house upgrades and expands, she will buy more.
It took her over one hour to pick the people that she wanted, and in the end, she picked six of them; four females and two males. Two mature women who were around thirty years and two girls were around fifteen.
One of the males is in his forties while the other one is in his twenties. There was always a reason why someone ends up a slave and she wasn’t bothered to hear the backstory of it.
Since she has bought them, then they were part of her family and she will treat them as such as long as they remain faithful to her.
The first order she gave these people was to get them all cleaned up as there was no way she was going to go around with them looking like that.
When they were all dressed up, Alayna finally went to the automobile market where she was going to find herself a comfortable carriage to use and another one for daily use.
It took her some time to finally pick the carriages that she wanted. She picked two just as she wanted, one luxurious one to be used by the family members and one casual for the servants to use when doing their chores.
In the future, she was going to use her car, and that is when she becomes bold enough.
As for the carriages, the servants and everyone else were shocked when they saw what happened to them. Alayna directly teleported them back to Dark Forest and didn’t even bother giving anyone an explanation before continuing with the shopping.
Alayna bought some fine horses next and she bought four at one go. As for the enormous price she paid to get such fine studs, she didn’t even want to think about it.
The horses also went through the same treatment as the carriages but this time, Alayna vanished with them.
Alayna set the horses at the stable first before returning and everything took a few minutes.
After this, she took everyone shopping for some clothes, toiletries, and anything that the servants will need which includes food as well.
Alayna didn’t leave Ciliren when she was done but shared a meal with Janet’s family before taking her servants back to the forest.
The slaves had been through a lot in their lives but this was the first time they were treated like human beings. So, their gratitude and worship for their mistress were very high.
When Alayna reached home, she brought the slaves into the house. The slaves looked at the villa like fools, how come there was something this beautiful in this world? Just what were these strange things at their mistress’s house?
Although they were curious, they knew that asking for answers would be overstepping their boundaries.
Alayna introduced the kids to the slaves and vice versa, "from now on, your duty is to take care of this family and this includes my son, Neal who is currently not here."
"I shall name you today and I hope that you will be faithful to my family. I won’t tolerate any disloyalty and anyone that dares betray my family, I will make sure that you will suffer a fate worse than death."
When the slaves heard this, they quickly knelt on the ground and pledged their loyalty. They weren’t fools, why will they betray someone this generous and wonderful as their mistress?
"That’s good then, you better stick to your word," she was very happy about this although she was fully aware that things may change in the future.
Alayna then proceeded to name the slaves. The female slaves were named like this, from the oldest to the youngest; Grace, Faith, Hope, and Patience. And the males were named Justice and Timothy. And the six of them carried her last name West.
They all thanked her with snorts and tears after that, and even the kids who were being bystanders before became teary as well.
Alayna had the six of them stand up as it wasn’t nice to keep them on their knees.
"Grace, you will become the housekeeper of the house and your duties are as follows .........."
"Faith your duties will be .........."
"And lastly Hope and Patience, apart from helping in the house, you shall also follow the first and second miss. And if you satisfy me, in the future when there are more people, you will become the young Miss’s personal maids."
"As for you Justice and Timothy, the two of you will take in charge of driving the carriage, taking care of the stables, the horses, the yard, and cleaning the cars."
After giving instructions about the house, Alayna took the four female slaves around the house for a tour and showed them around. The only room that was out of bounds was her study as she didn’t want anyone messing around there.
When they were done checking the house, she took all six of them outside and showed them the temporary stable and the horses. When they were done, she took them to the cabin she was using as the current temporary housing for the slaves.
The cabin is a two-story one with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. If she had known that she was going to buy more saves, she would have bought a bigger cabin.
Maybe she should just do that but it was already late, so it was better to leave this for tomorrow.
As they have already eaten, the slaves went to bed in their temporary house and shared the rooms. As for Alayna and her kids, they spent an hour talking about the day.
Alayna checked the progress of the kids at the same time too and when she went to her bedroom, she checked with Neal as well.
Although the young man was somewhere unknown, she didn’t want to lose contact with him. He should always remember that his family was waiting for him and will always be there for him.
