TRANSMIGRATED WITH A HYPERMARKET SYSTEM-Chapter 109 - 108: COLLABORATION
Alayna was busy with the production of more books although it wasn’t her doing the job, she was just nervous and anxious.
She didn’t take on a new project and put everything on hold and locked all thoughts so that she won’t get tempted.
During this period while she waited for the books, she visited the institution a lot to check up on everyone. Visited the town to check up on everyone and see what changes were there.
She also did some shopping, received the latest news, and did everything that she wanted.
And finally, the second batch of books arrived and many were still on their way. When people saw these books, they rushed into buying them hastily again that they were finished before another batch arrived.
This was good news for Alayna and counting money for the books was enough to make her very happy. Alayna set all the money aside for Merita and took out the money she thought was equivalent for the cost of production and any other promotional services.
She was simply doing this so that Merita won’t be complacent, after all, there is nothing as 100% profit without incurring any costs of sale.
One day, Alayna was at the park checking the haunted house to see if there were any scarier additions she needed when she suddenly saw an employee who told her that she has guests who wanted to see her.
She left what she was doing and decided to see who these people were before continuing from where she left.
When she saw the people, she didn’t recognize them at all, and just looking at them, she could tell that they were foreigners and not locals at all. Not that she was judgmental.
The good thing about this world was that somehow everyone spoke the same language, it was just different dialects but one could still hear the other.
The three men gently bowed when they saw her and she returned the greeting, "let’s go and sit somewhere else."
There was no way that she was going to talk outside with so many eyes on them.
"Sure, that will be the best."
Alayna led the three guests to the office that she uses whenever she is at the park and she offered them some seats. Alayna took out some bottles of water from her storage ring as she rarely goes anywhere without water or some refreshments.
"So, gentlemen, how can I help you?" Alayna hated beating around the bush, it was always the best to go straight to the point and straighten things out.
The men didn’t expect for Alayna to start like this but they applauded her for it as this showed them that they were dealing with a decisive person.
"Lady Alayna, we are merchants from Thyasalen. I am ...…. And it’s our pleasure to finally meet you."
Alayna never thought that she will meet people from so far away but knowing this made her so excited, ’it seems like my fame is reaching far.’
"The pleasure is all mine. So how can I help you this time?"
"Your business is thriving and we can all tell that your items are genuine and filled with a lot of spiritual energy and we would like to collaborate with you."
Alayna wondered how they wanted a collaboration. She was in no mood to go and open another branch shop. Two shops were already a very handful to her at the moment and opening another one will only be possible if the system issue a new mission.
"And how do you propose that collaboration to happen?"
"This..."
So according to the men, they wanted to know if it was possible to sell them the items in bulk and at a cheaper price as they wanted to sell them back at their home.
Alayna didn’t find this troublesome as back in her world there were wholesalers and this business was a good one. But she didn’t have authority over this yet, she needed to ask with the system.
But on second thought, if she does her business like this, won’t this affect her in the future?
[DING! An urgent mission issued, strike a favourable business deal with the merchants, and get a chance at a lotto draw.]
When she needed the system, it appeared.
"This can happen but it will depend on what you want to buy. Some of them will have a limit and I can only sell a certain quantity to you. It will ...….."
Alayna began to state her own side after hearing the merchants’ side as well.
The merchants were ready to face anything when they decided to come and face Alayna but they were glad that they managed. Others thought that they won’t be able to succeed, considering the crazy rules that were set.
Alayna in the end spoke in detail about several things that she wanted these merchants to understand before they get into any business deal.
Both sides were very happy with the talk and Alayna promised to give the men a written contract the next day and if both sides are happy then they will sign the contracts.
After talking about this, she thought that they were done but alas they were just starting.
"Umm, is there a way you can also sell us some rights for selling and distributing the books?"
Foll𝑜w current novels on fɾēewebnσveℓ.com.
"Yes, that book is very good despite being a children’s book and we would love to sell it back home."
"We are not capable enough to make such books and we ...."
In other words, these three men wanted her to sell them some books and this was more good news for her. The four of them discussed further this issue and had a pleasant talk.
Alayna wasn’t in the mood to check the park anymore and drove her car back home. The three merchants looking at this strange metal carriage called a car, all looked at each other with determination.
"You also want to have something like that?"
"I want it but I guess I need to make a lot of money first."
"Yes, it’s not something that we can easily afford and we don’t even know where to get it."
"Don’t we have the lady boss here?"
Alayna droves speedily back home and when she entered the house she was greeted by total silence. The kids were in their rooms again and this wasn’t something new in the house anymore.
Alayna took the elevator instead of the stairs and went to the third floor. She went to her study and locked herself in.
Alayna began to think about the contract contents. Since the system was allowing this, it means that in the future she can still do this with other merchants as long as they can afford her goods.
Inspiration began to flow and Alayna began to type on her P.C and the words were flowing. It didn’t take long before a contract was drafted. Alayna went through it repeatedly to check if there were any mistakes, errors, and typos before printing six copies.
She also made another contract regarding the book’s issue and this one was simple so it didn’t take long. She printed six more copies and saved the soft copies well for future use.
The next day, she met with the three merchants and showed them the drafted contracts. The men read every word cautiously as traps were easily ignored when one is ignorant and didn’t read thoroughly.
The content was okay and they didn’t have any issues with it, so they signed their names.
"For now, you need to wait if you want to get the books. But I can’t give you many as stated in the contract. You will have 1,000 copies each first and the rest we will communicate. As for the others, I ....."
Their talk this time went very smoothly and they discussed everything in detail. When she was done, Alayna honestly didn’t know where she was going to get everything that she promised the merchants but since the system has urged her to sign, then everything was up to it again.
She went back home to see what will happen and how she will solve this issue.
[The host has successfully signed the contracts. The system will provide the exact quantities of the items on the written contracts and the host can now retrieve them.]
[The host has won a lotto draw chance and can now use it.]
Alayna was more interested in the first notification so she silently ordered for retrieval and voila, three beautiful storage pouches with the phoenix emblem appeared on top of her desk and a smile broke through on her face.
The three merchants had practically ordered the same amount of goods so she could give them any pouch. Alayna checked the contents of each pouch and to be honest she was in awe of the system.
’You are truly mighty like always.’
As the merchants didn’t bring a lot of gold and spirit stones, they didn’t order a lot of goods but she was looking forward to seeing them returning or having others come and sign with her.
She couldn’t help but think of that crazy princess who wanted to do business with her, she wondered if she can still do business with her now that she was finally able to.
