Transmigrated To A Beastworld As The Lazy Wife Of The Fox Lord-Chapter 47: Retrieving the crazy woman.
"Get Ali out of here first." Sienna growled.
Two guards grabbed her arms, it was not just Ali they intended to take away, it was her as well. But Sienna resisted. "I am not leaving anyone I brought behind."
"You can’t even fight." A guard shouted to her.
"I can fight mama." Ali said, in a soft whimpering voice. She was hiding behind Sienna’s leg, clinging on to it for dear life.
Sienna raised her pole. "Geo, take Ali away. Now." She roared. "Protect her no matter what." She was confident that she could use her system to turn the queen bee into a pet. But, it would ease her mind if her daughter was miles away from the danger.
The queen bee spread her wings, a hum rose to deafening crescendo. The servants screamed.
And then--
A sudden crack split the air. The ground trembled. From above the canopy, a figure emerged. Tall, six tails flying, two guns in both hands.
"Elias..." Sienna whispered.
But before she could move, the queen;s stinger descended, glowing with lethal light, aimed directly at her heart. Sienna’s breath caught, her pole trembling in her grip. "System, either tame the bee or give me a weapon that kills it." she screamed.
Elias fired, intercepting the queen’s stinger, sparks scattering like meteors. His guards, from the fox vanguard leaped into action, firing from every side, using ropes to fly and confuse the queen.
"Sienna Miller," he thundered, "I could kill you right now. What were you thinking? What madness afflicted you? You endangered yourself, our daughter, these servants and guards and the honor of our house. Do you think a hunt is a game?"
Sienna flinched, her cheeks burning. The drone hovered, capturing every word, every flicker of emotion. The audience erupted in excited comments--shock, sympathy, judgement. On a ship above the forest, Eli leaned closer to the screen, his envy momentarily forgotten, replaced by vindication. Yes, he thought bitterly. Scold her. She deserves it, that bad woman.
Sienna responded boldly, "I am not a fool Elias, I researched the forest and the bees. According to history, a queen bee has not been seen in this world for many centuries. I stayed on the outskirts of the hive, avoiding the dangerous inner territory and we used smoke to calm the bees and knock them unconscious. This was bad luck."
"No, it was stupidity," he bellowed, and glared at the guards. "You brought my wife and family here without sending me a notice.:
The guards lowered their heads.
Then Elias turned to Geo. "And you, I am sure you encouraged her to make this trip, didn’t you? What were you trying to prove?"
Sienna stepped in front of Geo. "Stop blaming them, I organized the hunt. If you want to growl and turn your fangs on anyone, do it to me." She turned around, "Is everyone okay?"
The servants confirmed they were fine, so were the guards.
"Our egos are a little bruised." Nanny Fortunate said with a laugh. "You are a human and you showed more bravery that we did."
Ali nodded eagerly. "Yes, mommy did not scream. I also didn’t scream."
Sienna patted her chest. "Next time, we will send in some drones to grab the hives. The queen has retreated, let’s head back to the edge of the forest and pick some strawberries. Then, we go home, rest and bake some healthy cakes."
Elias’s legs faltered. Was this woman crazy? he asked himself.
He grabbed her shoulder, turned her around to meet his sharp gaze, "You really are crazy. We are going home, Sienna. No pit stops along the way and no more adventures."
She crossed her arms across her chest. "You can’t stop me. Next time, I will leave Ali and everyone else at home and just do it on my own."
Ali whimpered, clutching Sienna’s leg tighter. "Mama, you promised to take me everywhere."
The audience curiously wondered if this was the end of Sienna’s adventures. As dangerous as things had become towards the end, they had enjoyed it. They had seen a queen bee and it was a big and magnificent as the legends said.
"My lord, the queen bee is returning. We should evacuate now." A guard whispered to Elias.
Without another word, he gestured to Ala. The guard bent low, and carefully lifted Ala into his arms. The little one sniffled, her small hands clutching his shoulders. Her eyes were glued to Sienna, worried that her mother would continue the adventure without her.
But then--Elias’s arms swept around Sienna. lifting her effortlessly. She gasped, struggling but his grip was iron. He slung her over his shoulder like a wayward child, ignoring her protests. Her dignity crumbled, her pride shattered, yet his authority was unquestionable. "I said, the hunt is over."
With one pull, they were elevated into the sky, along with the servants, guards and the hives Sienna had collected. Within thirty seconds, the hunting party was on a flying ship, on the way back home.
Sienna was glaring at Elias and he was glaring right back at her.
Ala was attempting to calm her father by acting cute. Her small fists were banging on his shoulders, "Papa, mama just wanted to show me some bees, and feed me some honey. Please don’t punish her."
Sienna snorted. As if he could punish her!
"Papa, she was just showing me how to have fun." Ala added in a coquettish voice.
Elias responded sternly, "And she nearly showed you death. Do not defend your mother, she is in wrong."
Sienna nearly defended herself but a voice in her mind made her pause.
"Congratulations host for acquiring a new dormant pet: Queen bee."
Sienna stood up abruptly and nearly tripped herself. Was it the same queen bee that had tried to put a hole through her heart?
The system heard her thoughts and replied. "Yes. The queen saw you as a rival queen before. Now, she doesn’t. She is following you back to your home."
Sienna blinked.
A guard sounded an alarm. "Sir, the queen bee is following us."
Elias rose, shooting Sienna one last glare before noticing that a shadow which was blotting out clouds was coming after them. "See what you have caused." Then, he started shouting out commands. "Prepare for battle, everyone that cannot fight should stay inside and clear the deck. Lower the ship, in flight mode, she will have a bigger advantage of us."
Panic spread in the ship. While others ran inside, Sienna ran outside screaming at the top of her lungs, "Stop Elias, she is my friend."
