Chapter 381: Chapter 381 Traitor

Allison was dragged into the throne room by two guards, their grip tight on her arms as if she were already a criminal. The moment her eyes landed on the two kneeling Omegas at the center of the hall, fear shot straight through her spine like ice. Her breath hitched, and her heart began pounding violently against her ribs.

’No.’ She never believed they would be discovered this soon. Deep down she knew this meant one thing, the message was successfully sent.

Her lips trembled as she took in their familiar faces, old and worn, their bodies already bruised and bloodied. These were her people... people she had sworn to protect.

Alpha Lucas stood a few steps away, his posture oozing dominance and danger, his eyes burning with fury. The moment he looked at her, his gaze narrowed, sharp and condemning, as if he had already passed judgment.

He said nothing to her, almost as if he wanted her to watch the consequences of her actions. He wanted her to feel what helplessness really meant.

Instead, he turned his attention to the Omegas, circling them slowly like a predator savoring the fear of its prey. "The night you all claimed to be lost," he said calmly, his voice deceptively even. "Making my guards leave their posts, it was a diversion to send someone out, right?"

One of the Omegas shook his head violently, his voice hoarse. "We swear we did nothing, my Alpha. We were only looking for our way."

Lucas crouched in front of him, his eyes level with the trembling man. "Looking for your way," he repeated softly. Then his hand shot out, grabbing the Omega by the hair and yanking his head back. "Do you think I am a fool?"

The Omega cried out in pain, his hands clawing at Lucas’ wrist. "Please," he begged. "We are not spies."

Lucas slammed his fist into the man’s stomach, hard enough to make him choke and gasp for air. The sound echoed through the hall, sickening and loud. The second Omega whimpered, his entire body shaking as he watched helplessly.

Allison stepped forward instinctively. "Stop," she cried out, her voice breaking. "Please stop."

Before she could take another step, the guards tightened their hold on her, forcing her back. She struggled against them, tears spilling freely down her cheeks as she watched Lucas strike again, this time with his claws grazing his skin, drawing blood.

"Lucas," she sobbed. "Please. They are innocent."

Lucas finally turned to look at her, his expression dark and unforgiving. "Then tell me the truth," he roared suddenly, his voice booming through the hall. "If you want this to stop, tell me the truth now."

Allison froze.

Her chest tightened, her lungs burning as she struggled to breathe. If she admitted it, if she said a single word, not only would these Omegas die, but so would the rest of her people, including herself.

If she denied it, these two would still be killed, including herself... what should she do?

Her teeth sank into her inner lip so hard that she tasted blood. Her nails dug into her palms, sharp pain grounding her even as her mind spiraled.

Lucas growled impatiently, his claws glinting in the torchlight. "Last chance," he warned.

The room felt like it was closing in on her.

Before Allison could speak, or even think of a way out, his claws sliced cleanly across the throat of the first Omega. Blood sprayed across the floor as the man’s body went rigid. Time seemed to slow in Allison’s eyes as she watched him collapse, his knees buckling as he fell forward.

His eyes were wide with shock and fear, his mouth opening as if to speak, but no sound came out. Within seconds, the light faded from his gaze.

"No," Allison screamed.

The sound tore from her chest, raw and broken. She twisted herself free from the guards with a strength she did not know she possessed. Something inside her snapped completely.

For the first time in a very long time, she felt her wolf again.

Her eyes blazed gold, burning with rage and grief, as her body began to shift. Her bones cracked and her muscles expanded as fur burst from her skin. Before the guards could react, she leaped forward, her claws ripping through the throat of the nearest guard with brutal precision.

Blood splattered across the walls.

She twisted midair, narrowly dodging the swing of another guard’s claws, then she slammed into him, knocking him to the ground before biting off his head. His scream was cut short as her jaws snapped shut.

The hall erupted into chaos. Guards rushed forward, shouting orders that were quickly drowned out by snarls and screams.

Allison moved like a storm, her body fueled by pure fury. She ducked, spun, and tore through them without mercy, her fur soaked in blood as bodies dropped around her one by one.

The scent of death filled the air. Soon, the floor was littered with corpses, and the remaining guards hesitated, fear flashing across their faces as Allison’s Alpha aura surged outward. The pressure was suffocating, forcing some of them to stumble back. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

Alpha Lucas watched it all with a small, twisted smile curving on his lips.

"So," he said calmly. "This is what traitors become."

His body began to change, muscles swelling as his form expanded into his massive wolf, towering over Allison with sheer size and power. His presence alone made the ground tremble.

Allison’s eyes widened, but she did not back down.

She blurred forward, moving faster than light, ripping through the remaining guards that stood between her and Lucas. One by one, they fell, their bodies hitting the ground with heavy thuds.

She lunged straight for him, however, Lucas was faster.

Before she could reach him, his claws flashed through the air, slicing through the throat of the remaining Omega. The old man turned his head slightly toward her, his lips moving silently.

"Alpha Allison."

A faint smile curved on his face as if he was glad to take the fall for her, then he collapsed to the ground, taking his last breath.

Something inside Allison shattered completely, pain, guilt, hatred, and revenge.

She let out a deafening roar, launching herself at Lucas with everything she had. Their bodies collided violently, claws and teeth clashing as they rolled across the ruined throne room, tearing through stone and shattered furniture.

The battle was brutal and relentless. Allison was smaller and faster, she fought with desperation, every strike fueled by grief and rage, but Lucas met her blows with cold precision and overwhelming strength. He slammed her into the ground, the impact cracking the floor beneath them.

She let out a whimper, before she could gain her footing Lucas pinned her neck to the ground, his claws digging in just enough to make her gasp. His eyes gleamed with dominance as he leaned closer.

"Traitor," he spat out with venom.

Allison growled weakly, her body trembling beneath his hold, even as her spirit refused to yield.

"Kill me, if you want. You disgust me." Allison spat out.

But this made Lucas angrier. "You! I made you my Luna and you betray me! Do you know what you have done? What you have caused me?" His claws pressed harder into her skin.

"I’m glad... for it." Allison spat out, her chest burning with the urge to rip his head from his body.
