Transmigrated as the Stepmother of a Rebellious Heir-Chapter 156 - 93 Argument
Chapter 156: Chapter 93 Argument
In many people’s eyes, young children simply don’t lie.
Especially when rumours circulated and eyewitnesses claimed to have seen Fu Yang cheating as if it had become a fact.
The situation escalated to the point where many parents and students were phoning the education bureau to file complaints.
The education bureau in turn pressured Imperial Capital No.1 Middle School and sent an investigative team to seriously handle the allegations.
Just 5 days before the middle school exams, Fu Yang suddenly received a call from the school, demanding he come immediately.
The teacher’s tone was very serious and anxious, so Fu Yang went.
But to his surprise, what awaited him in the teacher’s office was virtually a tribunal.
A large group of people surrounded the conference table, their eyes piercing him with undisguised contempt as he entered.
The middle-aged man in a grey suit on his right spoke up first, "So you’re that delinquent Lin Yang they talk about?"
At these words, Fu Yang’s eyes narrowed, and his expression instantly turned cold.
He stomped on his skateboard, making a loud noise, "And who the hell are you?"
Normally a minor official, the middle-aged man was not accustomed to such confrontation and immediately became angry, flinging the exam papers in his hand onto Fu Yang’s face, "No need for an investigation, if someone has such poor character, cheating isn’t surprising."
Fu Yang reacted quickly, blocking the incoming papers, and then threw them back at the middle-aged man with twice the force.
The middle-aged man wasn’t nearly as agile, getting hit in the face with the papers and instantly bleeding from the nose.
"Murder! Bloodshed!" Realizing the blood dripping down, the middle-aged man jumped up, "Take me to the hospital, call the police!"
"Go wash it off first, I’ll accompany you," the others hastily ushered the middle-aged man away to prevent further conflict.
After the middle-aged man had left, a seemingly kind and benevolent middle-aged person at the center smiled at Fu Yang, "Lin Yang, right? Hello, we’re just here to understand the situation."
Although the middle-age man tried to appear friendly, his smile never reached his eyes, making it look insincere.
Fu Yang ignored his pretense and sat down on the couch, "Out with it, what do you want?"
"Can you tell us where you got the answers for the joint examination?"
"I did it myself."
"Kid," the middle-aged man smiled even more benevolently, "this is just a joint exam, not the middle school exam. As long as you cooperate and admit your mistake, considering you’re still a child, there won’t be any serious consequences."
Fu Yang scoffed, "What are you going crazy about here?"
Having no intention to check his scores, Fu Yang was completely unaware that he was currently ranked first on the score list.
Therefore, he found the bizarre comments from the other people incomprehensible.
"Lin Yang, you’re making this difficult," the middle-aged man seemed to lose his patience, his expression turning cold, "In your three years of junior high, you’ve always been last in your grade. Just three months ago, you were still at the bottom. Yet, in this eight-school joint exam, you suddenly came first in the entire city. Not even Wen Quxing could have improved so quickly, could he?"
Hearing the man’s words, Fu Yang was stunned. His attention wasn’t on cheating at all, but rather, "I’m first in the city?"
"Yes, didn’t you realize you copied a perfect score?" another leader-like figure chimed in, "640 points, even the perennial grade topper at Imperial Capital No.1 Middle School only has 635 points, and yet you dare say you didn’t cheat?"
Fu Yang was dumbstruck by the score of 640 points. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
Damn it! Everyone thought he copied the answers, but he knew he hadn’t copied anything; he completed the test himself.
Is he really that impressive?!
"Lin Yang!" the middle-aged man reprimanded coldly, "You can still be saved if you admit your mistake now, otherwise, we’ll have to follow protocol. If you get expelled, you won’t even have the chance to take the middle school exams."
Hearing this threat, Fu Yang recovered from his shock and looked at the middle-aged man coldly, "Cut the threats. You have no evidence I cheated, and you still call yourself teachers."
"Impudent! How can you have no respect for your elders!" The middle-aged man hadn’t expected Lin Yang to completely disregard him, casting aside all pretense, "Who are your parents? Call them here!"
Fu Yang couldn’t be bothered with him, lazily resting his feet on the table, "Summon my parents? You’re not qualified."
"Is this the kind of student your school educates? Cheating, violence, disrespect for teachers—such a student with deplorable character should be expelled immediately!"
"....." Other attendees didn’t know Fu Yang’s background, but the principal had a bit of an idea, although not much.
All he knew was that Fu Yang’s family was influential and not to be offended lightly, "Director Liu, let’s calm down. It’s not fully clear yet, right? It’s not too late to find evidence of his cheating before making an announcement."
"Do we still need to look for it?! Look at what he did to Director Wang! Look at his past grades; how could he possibly achieve such good results without cheating? We’ll announce and reprimand him tomorrow!"
With that, the man threw down the papers and stormed out of the conference room.
The principal watched the leader leave, then turned to Fu Yang who was nonchalant on the couch, feeling a headache come on.
As Fu Yang got up to leave, the principal approached him, "Lin Yang, this situation has blown up quite badly. Why don’t you have your parents come by tomorrow? Your exams are near, and we don’t want to expel you."
In the principal’s view, Fu Yang was too fiery and impossible to communicate with, but perhaps his parents could speak to the leaders at the education bureau, smooth things over, and handle this matter quietly.
After all, Fu Yang was still a student, and even if he really did cheat, considering it was his first offense, a punishment would suffice. There was no need to escalate to the point where he couldn’t even take his exams.
But Fu Yang flatly refused, "No father, no mother; they won’t come."
"....." The principal was at a loss for words, "You’re really stubborn, aren’t you."
"Do whatever you want, expel me if you will." Fu Yang’s expression was icy, "You’ve already decided I cheated, what else is there to say?"
With that, Fu Yang threw his skateboard onto the ground, hopped onto it with grace, and quickly left the conference room.
The principal’s hair seemed to whiten another shade as he watched him leave.
However, although Fu Yang had no intention of telling Shu Wan about this incident, the school still found ways to contact her.
