Transmigrated As A Baby Villain-Chapter 58: King’s Court III
"Do you now, haha?" Pirate let out a chuckle, and she turned around to smile at the teenage girl. "The Villains were... Amazing when it lasted. Hah, don’t little to my old soul too much. Where do you even get money to pay for materials and construction?"
A small smile painted JJ’s lips. "I have my ways, Pirate. Just don’t worry about it."
Don’t worry about it, huh?
It only takes one person with an identical serial number as one of their gold coins to ruin JJ’s entire money counterfeiting and laundering scheme.
"Mom!" Jay excitedly pointed at a dirty water bottle half lodged in the ground.
Just to make his adoptive mother smile, he conjured all of his powers into what little water there was left in the bottle.
It didn’t move one bit.
Frustration bubbled up his chest and his mind. Damn it, why can I use my power, System?
The cursed System remained silent.
His female caretaker chuckled as she patted him on his head. "Do you want that bottle, KJ? Yeah?"
The transmigrator promptly shook his head and began stomping his ways towards the main entrance of the junk yard.
By sunset, the residents already made a fire and started cooking. Jay’s parents made it clear that they did not want Jay to set foot within a foot of the fire, so that is what the transmigrator planned to do right away they said that.
Again, he’s an adult inside of a child’s body, although he gets childish impulses and cravings and fears sometimes, he absolutely won’t throw himself into the camp fire.
While his parents were talking to Pirate, Jay took the opportunity to take a step closer to the flames.
As soon as his feet entered the one foot radius of the camp fire, the familiarity of his adoptive father’s large hands plucked him up off the ground.
"KJ, what did I just say?" There’s an edge of tiredness to the Red King’s voice, and yet he smiled.
"How about this?" His female caretaker picked up a small stick from the pile of firewood and handed it to the toddler.
Hmm... With a stick, he can draw on the ground. Or even poke the camp fire, but his parents won’t like that, so draw on the ground it is. He wished he had brought his Rubik’s cube.
His mind wandered to animals, especially the absence of animals. Sure, there’s a few bugs and flies around the junk yard, but so far Jay has yet to see a single pet animal like a cat or a dog.
After acquiring a stick from his mom, he immediately poked the ground with it. Drawing his better than boredom. Without thinking much, he traced the dirt, outlining the shape of a four legged animal.
Maybe a horse?
A cartoony horse with badly proportioned eyes now laid on the ground. The toddler off-handedly added another stroke to the horse’s head to make a singular horn. If he’s going to draw, he might as well try to complete his side quests again. He’s been getting through them slower than expected.
"What’s that, little guy?" His male caretaker’s voice snapped Jay out of his focus.
"Unicorn." The toddler mumbled before he got started on another drawing.
Not far from them, even with the crackling of the fire, Jay could still hear what the residents are gossiping about.
"Don’s awake. He wants revenge on that traitor. Can’t blame him."
"June’s sister’s in-laws are in the city. I heard they abandoned June after her sister died."
"Eugene is the last Wonder Soldier if you don’t count the Red King."
"Does our Red King’s Queen have a name?"
"I heard him call her Jay, but Wolf called her queen."
"Wolf calls everyone girl and queen. Do you wanna ask her?"
"Haha, that’s a little intimidating, no."
Why are they scared to talk to JJ? Jay didn’t pry because he couldn’t. Are they the ones who will solidify his adoptive mother’s reputation of nothing but an extension of the Red King?
Since he’s a transmigrator, Jay knew that at one point, his dad will become a mafia— mob boss archetype of villain, while his mom would hold the alias of JJ, a traitor to the USC and the Red King’s secret lover. However, the original book never mentioned anything about Pirate and the residents of the junk yard, so the transmigrator couldn’t help but be anxious about what’s to come.
"Oh, wow, is that a giraffe?" 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Jay nodded at his female caretaker’s question, but he didn’t ignore the various pop-ups in front of his face. Damnit, System!
The side quests’ instructions are so so unclear. It never mentioned which Jay Pleng, or both of them. This fucking sucks, System. Who the hell created or programmed you like this?
Moreover, to add to this shitfuckery, the stats doesn’t make sense. Maybe the transmigrator will figure it out in the future, but some things just don’t add up.
At this point, Jay might as well do random things and hope for the best.
After dinner, the little family piled into Pirate’s cabin. And just like the kind woman she is, Pirate allowed Eugene the stay the night.
The Last Wonder Soldier looked very confused, to say the least, but he didn’t refuse. Inside of the dimly lit cabin, the toddler pushed a bedroll at the blond man.
"Haha..." The big man gently pushed the bedroll back to Jay. "I don’t think I need it."
"What? You got your own?" His younger brother piped in. "You obviously don’t, Eugene. Take it. You can get your own next time."
"Then where are you gonna sleep?" Eugene asked with genuine curiosity.
While the two are talking, Jay made his way to his mom. She opened her arms for him, and he jumped in for a hug. He snuggled into her neck and smiled as she pulled him into her blanket.
Eventually, the Red King joined them under the blanket. They’re sleeping on a single opened bedroll with a thick blanket, so they’ll be fine.
Just like usual, a kiss landed on Jay’s forehead before he drifted off to sleep.

His footsteps echoed throughout the piles upon piles of junk as he ran. Jay didn’t know where he was going, but he knew he had to get away from there.
It took a moment for Jay to realize that his point of view was different than usual. Taller and wider. Looking down at his hands, they’re not chubby baby hands, but fully formed ones, so he’s older, maybe in his early teens.
He turned around; his violet eyes caught a glimpse of fire. No matter how fast he’s running, the fire was catching up to him.
In the middle of all the flames and decay, he saw a skinny young man with long black hair that went below his hips. The man was wearing nothing but a pair of old grey pants. Strangely, the fires didn’t seem to harm him or even affect him at all.
When he stopped running, Jay’s gaze met the young man’s identical purple eyes. Then, the long haired man’s lips were pulled into an uncomfortable grin, showing off all of his teeth.
At that exact moment, a deep fear and down the boy’s spine. That’s...
"Kaon." The transmigrator said the villain’s name.
"Who are you?" The main villain’s grin didn’t drop as he took a step closer. "I see you in my dreams, little rascal. Hah, I thought I was replaying a happy childhood memory, but you’re here. You’re loved by my parents, but you’re not me."
