Tiny Genius Alert! Mom & Dad Better Make Peace-Chapter 364 - 351: Sweet Agony
However, when people saw Jin Jumo and Xixi Hanhan beside Rong Mochen, there was a subtle change in their expressions.
The executives had originally booked a restaurant to welcome Rong Mochen, but considering Jin Jumo looked unwell, they canceled it.
Upon arriving at the hotel, Rong Mochen immediately had food delivered to avoid the two little ones going hungry.
Xixi and Hanhan are meat lovers; Xixi loves all kinds of meat, especially chicken legs, while Hanhan takes after Jin Jumo and loves fish.
Therefore, Rong Mochen ordered flavors that catered to Xixi and Hanhan and only ordered two vegetarian dishes for himself.
The restaurant quickly delivered the food.
Xixi and Hanhan held their small bowls and started eating with their heads down.
Jin Jumo held a bowl of rice, looking at all the meat and fish on the table, feeling conflicted.
She usually ate whatever Xixi and Hanhan liked and thought she wasn’t a picky eater, and her stomach was hungry.
But looking at the food on the table, she had no appetite at all.
Rong Mochen noticed, his dark eyes calmly watching Jin Jumo, and spoke softly, "Not to your taste?"
Jin Jumo bit her lip and said, "I might be a bit tired."
"Mommy, this chicken leg doesn’t taste like the one you make, but it’s not bad."
Xixi, amidst her "busy eating," took a moment to glance at Jin Jumo, enthusiastically recommending the chicken leg she was gnawing on.
Hanhan also looked up at Jin Jumo. After a brief silence, he said, "You should eat even if you’re tired. Don’t you love fish? This fish might not be as good as yours, but it’s edible."
Saying this, Hanhan picked up a piece of fish, carefully removed the bones with his chubby little hands, and placed it in Jin Jumo’s bowl, looking at her with hopeful eyes.
Looking at the fish in the bowl, Jin Jumo felt an unwarranted itch in her throat, wanting to retch.
Not wanting to disappoint Hanhan, Jin Jumo lightly bit her lip, picked up the piece of fish, and put it in her mouth.
As soon as her tongue tasted the fishy flavor, Jin Jumo’s stomach rebelled.
There was a moment when she wanted to disregard everything and just spit it out.
But...
Jin Jumo’s peach blossom eyes flashed with restraint. Seeing Hanhan’s earnest little gaze, she ultimately didn’t spit it out, forcing herself to swallow it down.
"Is it good?" Hanhan asked as he watched Jin Jumo swallow.
Jin Jumo’s mouth twitched slightly, nodding, "It’s good."
Hanhan raised his eyebrows but didn’t say much, quietly picking up another piece of fish, removing the bones, and placing it in Jin Jumo’s bowl.
Jin Jumo, "Uh..." held her forehead, half-laughing, half-crying. Now she truly understood what sweet torment meant!
Watching Jin Jumo’s conflicted expression, Rong Mochen glanced at the fish in her bowl, his brow twitching slightly.
After eating their fill, the two little ones grew sleepy and soon fell asleep on the hotel bed.
As the waiter cleared the table and just left, Jin Jumo was pulled to sit on Rong Mochen’s lap, with his thumb and forefinger pinching her chin, pulling her down to kiss her lips.
Jin Jumo was surprised, her big, beautiful peach blossom eyes staring at him.
Wanting to say something, her lips were sealed by his tender kiss, leaving her unable to make any sound other than soft breaths.
When the kiss ended, both of their breaths were disordered, and their clothes were somewhat rumpled.
"Those people are probably still waiting for you in the hotel lobby, aren’t you going down?"
"Let them wait."
Rong Mochen was slightly stunned, his dark eyes swirling with emotion, gazing at her flushed little face and furrowed brow of frustration.
Jin Jumo happened to be wearing a dress today, which made it convenient.
As she clung to him while entering, Jin Jumo couldn’t help but softly cry, collapsing like a puddle of mud against him.
The entire process was long and gentle, a rhythm that made Jin Jumo comfortable and blissfully immersed.
Her whole body’s blood seemed to soak in a warm spring, leaving her bones and muscles utterly relaxed.
This kind of experience had never occurred before.
In that aspect, someone was usually too dominant and forceful. Once involved, it was like he turned into another person, ignoring her, recklessly doing as he pleased.
Every time it felt like he would take her apart, tearing her flesh and bones apart with force.
But this time, he was very mindful throughout, exceedingly skilled, combining intentional tenderness and a slow pace, along with his precision as a numbers expert in rhythm and tempo.
Jin Jumo’s nerves relaxed to the extreme, as if her soul was about to escape her body.
Finally finished, as Jin Jumo was carried by him to the bathroom for a wash, her fingers felt utterly numb.
After cleaning her body, Rong Mochen carried her into the bedroom, placing her beside Xixi and Hanhan, considerately covering her with a blanket, then tenderly kissed her on the brow, his voice hoarse as he said, "Bear with staying in the hotel with the kids for two days. Once I finish dealing with the branch company, I’ll take you all to Bali Island."
Jin Jumo nodded, her peach blossom eyes bright as she looked at him, "We don’t feel aggrieved. As long as the four of us are together, nowhere feels unbearable."
Rong Mochen curved his lips, unable to resist kissing her lips again, "Wait for me to come back."
Jin Jumo held his face, kissed him back, and then nodded, "Mm."
Watching Rong Mochen walk out of the bedroom, Jin Jumo blushed, grabbed the quilt and happily hid her entire head inside it.
In the hotel lobby, all the leaders from the Rong Family’s branch company waiting for someone wore expressions filled with anxiety.
They thought that with the trouble at the branch company, Rong Mochen would just send a capable person from the main office to handle it, but they didn’t expect him to come personally.
This definitely made them extremely alarmed and uneasy!
Ding——
The sound of the elevator opening was heard, and everyone’s eyes immediately looked over.
When they finally saw the man in a subdued black suit, with a cold expression, answering a phone call while walking towards them, everyone unconsciously straightened their backs and gracefully moved aside.
Rong Mochen lowered his eyes, his prominent and deeply carved face cold as ice, as the rumors suggested—aloof and unapproachable.
"Clean things up well. I don’t want to see any news about this when I return to the country."
Rong Mochen’s voice was deep, and he didn’t look at the senior staff, just continued straight out of the hotel.
No one dared to slack off, quickly following behind.
"Gu Yan has nothing else to do, if he wants to come, let him come."
One of the senior staff respectfully opened the car door for Rong Mochen, who then got in.
The group saw that Rong Mochen hadn’t looked at them from start to finish, and besides coldness and a hint of harshness on his face, there was nothing else.
They all felt uneasy.
Everyone exchanged nervous glances, furrowed their brows in worry, and then got into other vehicles, heading to the branch office building.
"Mommy, Mommy..."
Her chest felt like it was pressed by a heavy stone, making it hard to breathe.
Her lashes and face felt itchy, and both cheeks seemed to be squeezed together by something.
Jin Jumo frowned in discomfort, her eyelashes twitched twice, and she drowsily opened her eyes.
The first thing she saw was a white, chubby little face and a messy-headed little girl, and what was pressing on her face were the child’s two chubby hands.
Jin Jumo took a tired deep breath, resting one hand on her forehead, and opened her eyes to look at Xixi.
Xixi was sitting astride her chest in a pink dress with a slightly large neckline, one side already slipped down from her fair shoulder, hung on her chubby elbow, making her appear rather lazily alluring.
Alluring...
Jin Jumo laughed at her own thoughts, extending her arm from her forehead to smooth Xixi’s fluffy hair, "Xixi, if you don’t get off mommy, mommy won’t be able to breathe."
Xixi opened her eyes wide, stared blankly for two seconds, then reacted, blushed, and got off Jin Jumo, lying on her arm, pitifully saying, "Mommy, I’m hungry."
Hungry?
Jin Jumo furrowed her brows, glancing at the clock on the wall ahead.
This glance made her startled.
She couldn’t believe it was already past eight in the evening.
Jin Jumo gasped in disbelief; she remembered falling asleep a bit past four in the afternoon.
How did she sleep for so long?
"I’m starving, baby," Xixi was feeling rather overwhelmed by hunger, flipping her chubby body over on the bed, sticking her little butt up, and hugged her forehead with both hands, head buried deep into the bed, speaking with a slight sob.
Jin Jumo twitched her lips, sitting up from the bed.
Glancing at Hanhan still sleeping beside Xixi, she couldn’t help but take another breath.
Xixi and Hanhan are both deep sleepers, if no one wakes them, they’ll definitely stay asleep.
Unless nature calls!
If Xixi wasn’t hungry, she’d probably still be asleep like Hanhan now.
Jin Jumo hugged Xixi, who was lying with her butt up on the bed, and kissed her hungry little face, "Alright, baby, mommy overslept, sorry. Mommy will get up now and have the hotel send some food. Okay?"
Upon hearing food was finally coming.
Xixi didn’t hesitate to nod, her head bobbing like a pecking chicken.
Jin Jumo put down Xixi, got out of bed, walked out of the bedroom, originally intending to use the phone to call room service, but unexpectedly saw an array of desserts and fruits laid out on the coffee table in front of the sofa.
Jin Jumo was slightly surprised, puzzled as she walked over.
She found a note on the coffee table.
Jin Jumo bent down to pick up the note: There’s still some business to handle tonight, should be back around nine. Afraid you’ll wake up hungry, asked the hotel to prepare some food. When I get back, I’ll bring you something tasty.
Looking at the note with its flamboyant writing and strong strokes, full of masculine charm, Jin Jumo couldn’t help but curl the corners of her lips.
So, someone came back during the day, but seeing them asleep, didn’t wake them.
