Oriana was Akaris’s highschool sweetheart, they also dated on their first year of varsity until her bestfriend accused him of hitting on her.

When he convinced her that did not happen, her friend accused him of forcing himself on her.

She even had pictures of him trying to forcefully kiss her but those pictures were fake, they were edited.

She was the one who tried to kiss him and got mad when he turned her down, they she came to his dorm and got naked trying to seduce him.

When that failed she framed him to get Oriana to break up with him and she did, that friend tried again.

In her mind, if Akaris was no no longer with Oriana then he would have no reason to turn her down but at that point he straight up hated her.

Akaris had loved Oriana and being broken up with her hurt him deeply.

" What the hell you’re thinking about? Forcing yourself on me too?" She tapped her foot on the ground and glared at him with annoyance.

What he didn’t notice was the flicker of pain and sadness in her eyes, she too had loved him deeply.

But she found it hard to forgive what he had done to her bestfriend. Akaris sighed and looked at her.

His eyes no longer held the gentleness they had before because now that he thought about it, she shouldn’t be here.

Oriana should’ve been teleported out along with all the other humans, so whatever this was couldn’t be here.

He pretended not to notice that and walked to the corner but his bow was gripped tightly in his hand.

The creature sighed, even it facial expressions greatly mirrored hers, it was really good at mimicking.

What he didn’t know was that she was thinking the same thing. The only reason she hadn’t killed it was that she still hoped it was him.

However she knew that was impossible, what were the odds that he too was not fully human like her.

She giggled, " Do you remember our first date? Those oisters, best thing I’ve had, what did you say to me again?"

The moment she said Akaris knew, this was not his Oriana, they gave each other side eyes.

A second passed with them looking at each from the side then they moved at the same time.

He pulled three arrows and nocked them, a white tiger tail and ears grew on her. She grew fangs and her green eyes became slits.

Her nails turned into sharp, he shot an arrow straight for her head, heart and crotch at the same time.

It was the first he was trying this technique but he received inspiration for it when his archery reached level 10. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

( Archery has reached 12.) After his fight with the kobolds it had grown by another level.

The three arrow shot out like blue streaks, two went for the intended target but the one intended for the crotch shot to the side.

She twisted her body like she had no bones and dodged them, her body crouched down with her claws digging floor.

She lunged at him like a tiger, he jumped to the side to dodge but she twisted mid air and kicked him at an impossible angle.

The kick was so strong he felt the shockwave travel through his arm. His entire body was lifted up and he flew out the window.

He grabbed into the vines outside and jumped down. She followed him moving like a blur.

To his eyes though her movements were pretty clear, his hawk eyes made her look like she was moving slowly.

Or at least not as fast as she was acting moving. She shot two more arrows as he was falling down.

She jumped to the side dodging both of them them kicked off the vines and dropped towards him even faster.

Her claws extended out, blue mana covered them and mana claws like that of a tiger grew to 30 cm long.

They looked more like mana daggers than claws. He knew letting those things hit him would be a terrible experience.

He kicked off the vibe and jumped back, she passed by him falling to the ground even faster.

He spun mid air and faced down then shot three arrows at her. They fell like judgement upon her.

She landed on the ground and dodged them, he nocked more arrows forcing her to run to the forest.

She ran on all fours like a wolf animal but her speed was insanely fast. He infused his body with mana so the fall wouldn’t be too bad.

He grabbed into a long vine and slid down, when he landed he felt his bones rattle but he ignored that pain.

He saw her running through the forest using the trees as cover. She was baiting him to go in.

Akaris was not stupid, while there were trees the area a few metres around the building was relatively open.

Going into the forest would be crippling himself compared to her. However he wasn’t just going to watch either.

His arrows flew out like streaks, enhanced by mana they were able to easily pierce through the trees.

However she was too nimble and fast, hitting her was incredibly.

’ Future sight.’ using future sight he was able to track her next moves and he aimed, instead of using the wooded arrows he used a mana arrow.

The arrow formed and he released it, there was a tiny sonic boom that even he bared heard.

It shot out faster than sound heading straight for her where her head was supposed to be next.

At this distance it would be impossible for her to dodge. She dodged behind a tree but just as she appeared on the other side the arrow was already there.

Her eyes opened wide with surprise, Akaris grinned, time seemed to slow down and it was only a few centimetres from piercing her head.

Snap, he heard her bones snap and she twisted her neck at an impossible angle, the arrow passed right below her head and pierced through a tree from the distance.

" The fuck."
