If the Chief Steward is willing, just have someone bring fresh, slightly warm meals to my courtyard daily and send clean hot water at sunset."

The Chief Steward felt that, even though she was just a ten-year-old girl, the Third Miss’s eyes seemed able to see through all his thoughts.

This Third Miss, who was always overlooked by everyone, seemed not so simple.

"Sister was shouting so loudly outside, and yet Third Sister didn’t even care to respond, such imposing manners!" she sneered.

However amusing it was, when the time came to counter, she wouldn’t hold back.
