Thrown Into A New World: Let The Punishment Begin!-Chapter 940
Chapter 940: Time To Leave fređđžđđnà«ŠŃ”âŻl.cđđź
âI think you should leave.â A low voice echoed in the room, stunning the other person present in it.
Only a moment ago, Prince Fritzen had been explaining how his Queen Mother was taking time out of her schedule to teach Princess Felicia how to play the piano every day.
The mother who had not cared too much about her childâs upbringing was now actively participating in it, even going as far as overseeing her studies and teaching her a few topics herself.
Though Princess Felicia had classes with the Royal Tutor, Marquess Sullivan Samed, and her two playmates in the morning, her schedule was hectic even after they left the Palace.
After her morning classes, she would complete her home assignments with her playmates before taking a break.
The playmates would leave the Palace premises around this time and once she had rested for a while, the Princessâs next classes would commence.
These classes had always taken place under the supervision of Governess Bloom, an old matron who had a great experience in this field and was much trusted by the King himself.
.....
Usually, the responsibility to oversee the childâs progress in these classes fell on the motherâs shoulders as they were related to the knowledge any young miss in their Kingdom was meant to possess.
However, the Queen had been uninterested in being updated about the Princessâ progress so the King had been the one who was receiving regular reports from the Governess for many years now.
This changed recently as Queen Zena had summoned Governess Bloom, expressing her desire to be involved in the studies and growth of her child.
While she did not wish to take over the reins for the classes since the Governess was doing an excellent job, she simply hoped to be let in on how the Princess was doing and if she had any difficulties with certain topics.
Governess Bloom, who had been with the Princess and could grasp her innermost feelings regarding her relationship with the Queen, was elated to hear this and promised to do her best.
She not only reported to Queen Zena from time to time but also let the Princess know that her mother was keen on getting to know her better.
Thus the old lady had been a great help in lessening the distance that had existed between this pair of mother and child.
Though years of neglect could not be wiped away with such little effort on the part of the Queen, it was a pleasant sight to see her taking a step forward to improve their relationship.
A few months ago, the Queen had proposed that she would like to personally teach her daughter.
It was common knowledge that the Queen of Rosenhyde was the most talented piano player in their Kingdom.
Therefore, the thought of getting to learn from the best had caused the Princess to be overwhelmed at first but she soon was determined to make the best of this opportunity.
Thus Queen Zena and Princess Felicia had been spending more time together, practicing and discussing the lessons that had been taught during the piano lessons.
This was what Prince Fritzen had revealed to the young miss of the St. Claire family a moment ago.
Yvonne had been keen to hear more about this seemingly shocking information that most of the other nobles were not privileged to learn.
However, in the very next second, her expression had changed and she asked the Prince to leave.
This caused Fritzen to raise his brow in surprise as he had not expected to be kicked out in such a straightforward manner.
âShe was enjoying our conversation just earlier.â He blinked in bafflement at the sudden turn of events.
Yvonne, on the other hand, could tell what he was thinking as he wasnât wrong to assume so.
Learning that so many events were differing from what was written in the script and what she had witnessed through her dreams was definitely fascinating to her.
Though she somehow found herself stuck with this Prince a couple of times each month, she did not mind it as long as he was able to fetch her such confidential information each time he arrived.
She was also relieved that this world was moving in a direction that did not follow the script or the dreams entirely.
Therefore, she had not been too affected when the one she addressed as âPig Princeâ stopped by the St. Claire mansion each chance he found.
After all, too many things had changed, making her feel more secure about her future.
She evaded the chances of becoming the Princessâ playmate so she no longer was stuck in the role of the villainess that had been set up for Yvonne St. Claire in the script.
The Princessâ cold relationship with the Queen which was the foundation for her unhappiness also seemed to have improved for the better.
Though she wasnât too sure about Glennise Brodieâs circumstances, Yvonne was at least convinced that she would not be involved even if things took a turn for the worse later on.
âBy later on, I mean when the Female Lead enters the Capital.â She added in her heart while staring at the person seated opposite her with a bewildered look on his face.
Prince Fritzenâs sudden appearance in her life was an unexpected and unwelcomed one.
However, she had not sensed any malice within his demeanor and actions during the time he had stopped by.
This was different from their meeting in the Sycamore Palace which he had schemed to make possible.
There was a stark contrast in his attitude when these two incidents were compared so Yvonne no longer was worried that he was scheming against her.
At the same time, she did not trust him entirely as he was still the Male Lead of this script.
âHe might be nice now but there is no saying how he will change once Hilda appears.â She reminded herself to remain vigilant of him at all times.
Nevertheless, this wasnât the reason for her to chase him out in such a rude manner right now.
There was something else that had influenced her to behave this way but it seemed that the other person had misunderstood her.
âOh, and use the back door!â Yvonne snapped out of her thoughts and urged the Prince to hurry out of the room.
Prince Fritzenâs expressions distorted once he heard her suggestion, making him glare at her.
âYou want me, the Prince of this Kingdom, to-â He scowled while pointing his finger at his nose but halted mid-sentence.
His gaze shifted to the window where he heard the sounds of hooves clopping against the ground intensifying as they drew closer.
Even without putting in much effort, Fritzen could tell that a carriage had just entered the St. Claire estate and was now moving towards the mansion.
Inside this carriage, he could sense a mix of various auras, most of which he was familiar with.
Thus he turned toward the young girl and finally understood why she had been urging him to leave the mansion earlier.
Yvonne gripped her forehead when the sounds of the galloping horses came to a halt right outside the mansion.
âIâm done for...â She grimaced at the thought of what would happen next. fđđČđČđđđïœoŃ”đđč.cođș
She also did not forget to glare back at the senseless prince who just could not act according to her advice.
Noticing this glare being shot at him, Fritzen rolled his eyes and waved his wrist dismissively at her.
âYou worry too much.â He muttered and stood up from his seat before walking towards her.
Yvonne raised her brow when the Prince stood before her and held his hand out in her direction.
âShouldnât you walk your guest out?â Fritzen snorted when he saw her sitting still while staring at him with a bewildered look in her eyes.
This question caused the little girl to choke on thin air as she did not expect him to be so shameless.
âAn unwelcomed guest.â She mumbled under her breath while reaching her hand out to him anyway.
Grabbing her wrist in an ungentlemanly manner, Prince Fritzen once again rolled his eyes before helping her up.
âA guest nonetheless.â He harrumphed in reply as he strode out of the room with her by his side.
Roselie was the only one standing outside the door and there was a panicked look on her face when she saw the Prince walk outside with her Missâs hand in his grasp.
She was the only maid who was asked by the old butler to serve the children whenever the Prince was in the mansion.
Therefore, excluding her, no other maid was knowledgeable of the Princeâs constant visits to the St. Claire mansion.
This was to keep the Princeâs appearance a secret from the others.
Though right now, more than the worries she should be garnering, she was leering at the hand which this Prince had held on to.
âWhy does he have to touch my Miss!?â She was roaring in her heart but the Prince seemed to have misunderstood her ardent gaze.
âYou do not have to worry. Just lead the way.â Fritzen flashed a gentle smile at this panicking maid before glancing at the girl whose hand he was holding.
He had assumed that the girl and her maid were fretting over what would happen next but he wasnât too bothered about it.
After all, there was no reason for them to behave this way so he tried to soothe them using those considerate words.
However, Yvonne, who had long guessed what Roselie was thinking could only scoff inwardly at the Prince who thought he was playing the part of a knight rescuing a damsel in distress.
âIâm glad Papa isnât home right now.â She sighed as that man would have turned into a fire-breathing dragon had he seen this sight of the Prince holding her hand and not letting go.
