This is really not mechanical ascension-Chapter 900 - 465: Secrets Everywhere
Chapter 900: Chapter 465: Secrets Everywhere
"Titan descendants..." Li Ming muttered softly, staring at the metal ruins before him.
Florian knew nothing about the origins of these people, but Li Ming was not the same; he had been probing earlier.
"There are still descendants of Titans?" He was quite surprised by this.
He had previously thought that everything related to Titans had perished.
Li Ming pondered to himself: "But in this Star Domain, I haven’t heard of them, hiding in secrecy. Could they be from elsewhere?"
"Another Star Domain? Survived because they are far from the disaster’s center?"
"And this trial of glory, the Titans seem to have quite a few trials. I wonder what my trial is called, Holy Castle Trial? But it’s definitely harder than this trial of glory..."
Li Ming considered this and temporarily kept the matter in mind.
The value of these Titan descendants is extraordinary, as many things about the Terrax Civilization remain secret.
"What secret is there in Clyde’s possession, making them worthy of a special ambush..." Li Ming collected the metal ruins, his eyes flickering.
With their means, they could naturally leave this place at any time.
Thus, when Florian returned, the three of them left the grill shop and boarded a small flying device.
"Why are you two keeping such a low profile?" Li Ming followed Florian to their spaceship, surprised.
The spaceship before him was quite dilapidated, even poorly patched with blocks of iron.
He was also hiding his identity, but there was no need to travel in such a rundown ship; the basic facilities probably couldn’t keep up.
Li Ming was unwilling to inconvenience himself when it wasn’t necessary.
Florian hunched over, his face unclear, only a calm voice came: "As long as the spaceship works."
After Clyde tidied the spacecraft, erasing the navigation logs and such, they transferred to Li Ming’s spaceship.
Their decrepit vessel, lacking even a co-travel system, was temporarily abandoned here, and the three boarded one spaceship.
Li Ming’s vessel belonged to the Venerate King series of Mechanical Court, Cloud Chariot, compact yet exquisite.
It could accommodate up to five people comfortably, though squeezing in up to ten wouldn’t be a problem; various basic facilities were quite complete.
As soon as they stepped through the cabin door, the dormant lights slowly brightened, accompanied by the soft voice of Vermilion Bird: "Master, welcome back..."
"Record the basic features of two guests, Florian, and Clyde," Li Ming instructed casually; the interior decor was quite minimalist, predominantly silver-white metal structures, occasionally with black accents.
Clyde looked around, inwardly envious, as their Exile Fleet didn’t have such a spaceship.
"Yes..." Vermilion Bird’s hologram landed on Li Ming’s shoulder, "Lord Florian, your room is number three, Lord Clyde, your room is number four; feel free to call me at any time for anything."
Meanwhile, the spaceship had already begun operations, smoothly bypassing many queued vessels, initiating spatial coating.
Clyde observed his surroundings with a hidden curiosity, yet cautiously, following Florian meekly.
While Florian stood by the porthole, silently watching the nearby Star Gate Channel, pondering to himself: "No interception..."
"Would either of you like something to eat?" Li Ming asked politely, with a smile: "By the way, Star Stream Black Snake is also on the menu."
Clyde was surprised, "Star Stream Black Snake too?"
Li Ming nodded: "Yes, I had my mechanical body fully replicate Feit’s techniques and purchased some of the relevant ingredients and raw materials, already delivered to the spaceship."
"But, how much of the taste can be retained isn’t clear; would you like to have a taste?"
Clyde’s throat gulped; he had to admit, Star Stream Black Snake was indeed delicious, thinking he wouldn’t have it again after leaving.
Despite being tempted, he still looked towards Florian.
Florian hesitated; after the recent incident, he didn’t want Clyde leaving his sight.
But Li Ming was young too, and insisting on following would be somewhat disrespectful to Lord Azure Dragon.
Thinking it over, he nodded, prompting Clyde to say to Li Ming: "Thank you."
The spaceship had completed its spatial coating, heading towards the Star Gate Channel, while Florian’s vigilance heightened to its peak.
"The taste is nearly identical."
In the canteen, Clyde looked surprised, on the silver metal plate laid the Star Stream Black Snake.
"This mechanical body is really impressive." He looked towards the chef’s table, at the mechanical body wearing a chef’s hat, which smiled slightly and removed its hat, saying: "Thank you for your recognition."
"Indeed, Lord Azure Dragon is a Divine Craftsman," Clyde praised, though his gaze seemed somewhat dazed.
If they could receive assistance from these mechanical bodies, it would reduce many casualties and greatly aid in various areas.
The mechanical bodies of the Mechanical Court were already quite renowned in the interstellar realm, thanks to the trillion-dollar bounty still unclaimed; even Clyde and his group had heard about it.
For a group like theirs, a secretive mechanical body would be ideal.
But Mechanical Court only operated in the Chaotic Star Gap, making it impossible for them to rent any.
He glanced at Li Ming sitting opposite, who was watching the news, and couldn’t help but remark: "It’s my first time on a spaceship connected to the Interstellar Network within the Star Gate Channel."
Li Ming paused slightly, setting down his intelligent terminal, extinguishing the screen, the fleeting silhouette in the frame seemed to be Clyde.
