Chapter 573: Number two’s location.

She glanced at his hand and lazily raised her eyes to his and gestured at his hands, asking that he let go of her. He dropped her hand but his piercing gaze dug into her eyes. If he could, he would take her brain out and find that information for himself.

"Captain, have you ever taken a sailing trip on the South sea? If you have not, i suggest you join me on one after my wedding, preferably. Number two enjoys the water so much. But you cannot go alone, you will find nothing. Only i can show you the way, i am just giving up information ahead of time so that you can make preparations in advance."

The number two she was referring to was Afaro, Genesis’s second in command. This was part of the information the system had extracted from weather boy.

"Tell me when.." The captain nodded once, turned his back and left.

Alix could not let him leave without giving him a simple warning. "Captain, don’t be presumptuous and startle the snake, we get one shot."

She was worried that his thirst for vengeance could drive him to go diving in the South sea with many bureau system hosts and Afaro would move. Just as he had his personal reasons for wanting Afaro, so did she.

Alix touched her stomach and sighed. She had move to move quickly and clean up all possible dangers before the children arrived.

The Heinrich’s had targeted Xiaobo, the dark side or six families still standing could target her children. There were some restless people in the bureau itself that could target them for different reasons.

The timing of the pregnancy really sucked.

"Are you really giving him this information so easily?" The system asked.

"He is in pain, let the man have his pound of flesh. I got mine with the Lin’s, and now i am contented. Who am i to deny him a similar opportunity?"

Mantis slid back in place since the captain had gone.

"Aah, he is really cold from start to finish. You captured that murderous bastard weather boy but he didn’t even give you a handshake, pat on the shoulder or a hug. Isn’t he too stingy with praise?" she huffed and crinkled her nose upwards. "Anyway, i will praise you."

She slipped her hands around Alix and gave her a hug.

"You have done great our mighty dragon miss president. You must have been terrified, i know i was down here and i was only watching. I cannot imagine what it was like for you that was personally involved. I know that you are strong but don’t do this again. If you cannot trust others, at least trust me." her hands lingered on Alix’s back, moving up and down slowly.

Suddenly she was wrenched away and another person stood in front of Alix. It was Aang, who was visibly furious.

"Are you crazy?" he raised his voice, shouting and stunning her. "The whole point of having a world bureau president that is a system host is to create unity among our kind. You cannot run off on your own to confront danger or else others will think that you are a glory hound of some kind."

Mantis shoved him away and rolled her eyes. "Why are you raising your voice at her? She didn’t face him randomly, we were already aware of the plan. We just didn’t expect that it would happen so soon. All she wanted to do was end the random attacks which have resulted in the serious injury of six system hosts. She did it for us, not for glory."

Aang pointed at Mantis and exhaled, "Mmm, you...don’t just support her blindly."

"Who are you calling blind you walking beauty billboard?" Mantis retorted.

Aang scoffed. "Are you still calling me that? Are you jealous that i am more good looking than you?"

"A man that looks like a flower fairy, is that something to be proud of?" Mantis put her hands on her hands on her waist and raised her head with a smirk on her face.

Alix had no idea why they were fighting all of a sudden but she wanted to leave. Now that the weather troubles had been settled, she wanted to begin enjoying her holiday.

"You guys can stay here and argue, I am going home."

She took a few steps and increased her pace when she saw the two following her. Leaving was not easy either because other system hosts kept stopping her, shaking her hand or wanting to meet her. She was like a celebrity in the midst of a small fan meeting.

Alix noticed something abnormal however, they kept glancing at her head curiously.

"System, what are they looking at?"

She raised her hand to feel the top of her head while she was questioning it. her hands felt two protrusions which were her baby dragon horns.

"What the fruit!" she exclaimed. "System ...."

"Too much energy was dispensed in dealing with the weather controlling system and rewriting it. The system is experiencing some....call them difficulties. I advise you to get a hat temporarily."

She heard a beeping sound and then it went silent. When her eyes peeked at the virtual screen, the blue elf was actually sleeping. It’s settings had been changed to rest mode.

"How can you sleep now? How am i supposed to walk around with dragon horns? Do you want me to be killed in the street? Have you ever seen pictures of the devil? Tomorrow is the premier of director Ban’s movie, how am i supposed to attend it now?"

She screamed her thoughts loudly but got no response. The only sound she heard back was a loud snore.

She spread her hair out to cover the horns but their tips could not be hidden.

"Let’s go." she was suddenly grabbed by Aang and teleported away.

He took her to the hidden city directly, to the school where her family was being given a tour at the moment.

"I won’t charge you for this one." Aang told her and he teleported away.

Alix couldn’t have cared less about the payment as she was troubled still by the presence of the horns. How long would the system be sleeping? Could she play the game while it was absent?

She wanted to go into the virtual screen and shake the blue thing awake.

The family meanwhile saw her and they waved while her husband escalated his feet and run to her. As soon as he reached her, he inspected her body from head to toe and winced when he saw the small bruise on her face.

"Are you fine? Are you injured anywhere else? Have you lost your mind woman, how could you go off on your own to confront that lunatic?" He shook her shoulders and raised his voice.

It was the second time she was being scolded that day.

"Hubby." she cried out in a pitiful voice.

Caishen drew her in for a hug quickly.

"I am sorry, don’t cry. I didn’t mean to raise my voice at you, i was just terrified."

He had been pretending to be strong and unbothered but without confirming with his own eyes that she was okay, he had been terrified.

The thunder and lightning he had seen and heard just before the sky turned gray had scared him. Only a crazy person could create a system like that.
