The Wicked Female Is Wild and Scheming, Living in a Love Battlefield Every Day-Chapter 53: A Good Female Doesn’t Fight with Males
Corbin Crowley’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, his eyes deep, feeling as though the blood in his body was boiling.
He had to admit, this damn fat woman had indeed slimmed down, and her figure seemed to have become... more feminine.
But then he thought of something, his face turning ugly again as he quickly looked away.
He took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the heat within.
Luna Sutton’s attention was all on that bottle of shower gel, oblivious to his oddity.
Watching the wooden bottle of shower gel float farther away, she was almost dying with anxiety.
She paddled a few more times, realizing that the distance was too far, she couldn’t possibly reach it; at this rate, she’d exhaust herself to death.
Even worse, she seemed to have cramped up, her legs losing strength.
Luna Sutton thought this was bad, she didn’t want to drown in this river so soon after crossing over.
Thinking this, she stopped flailing, letting her whole body relax, lying on the water, drifting with the flow.
Luckily, she knew how to swim and wasn’t panicking, waiting slowly for her limbs to recover.
Corbin stood on the shore, watching her suddenly quiet down, lying on the surface, drifting downstream without a sound or motion.
His brows knit tightly, and a bad feeling rose in his heart.
Could she be drowning?
Thinking this in his heart, he watched her closely.
Realizing she hadn’t moved an inch, his brows furrowed tighter, and he quickly jumped into the river to swim toward her.
Luna Sutton was waiting for her legs to recover when she suddenly saw a tall figure swimming toward her. Glancing to the side, she found it was Corbin Crowley, momentarily stunned.
What’s he doing here?
Could it be, this bastard of a man thinks I’m drowning and is here to save me?
Is that possible?
This bastard probably wishes to see me drown.
Before she could continue brainstorming.
Corbin had already swum over, slipping his hands under her armpits and lifting her whole body out of the water.
"Hey, you..."
She was bewildered instantly, almost unable to recover her senses.
Wasn’t this bastard of a man utterly disgusted by her?
A -100 value flashed glaringly, almost blinding her eyes.
So what was happening now?
"Oh no, my shower gel..."
Luna Sutton thought of something, struggling to get off him.
Corbin looked at the fat woman struggling in his arms, his handsome face darkened.
This damned female, even drowning she’s worried about her stuff.
"Don’t move!"
He shouted lowly, brow furrowed, his expression and tone brimming with impatience.
At this moment, she couldn’t care less if he was angry; seeing the shower gel being carried away by the river, she was anxiously burning.
"Quickly let me down, my shower gel is about to float away..."
She shouted loudly, pointing at the wooden bottle about to disappear from view.
Following her finger, Corbin saw a wooden bottle floating in the river, drifting farther away.
The corner of his mouth twitched fiercely, was this fat woman so desperate over a bottle?
The style was weird too; who knows what it’s for, and yet she treasures it so much.
"Keep quiet!"
He glared at her, voice full of gritted teeth, threatening.
Luna Sutton couldn’t listen at all; all she saw was the shower gel that was about to be lost.
Suddenly thought of something.
Wait, I can use my abilities to get the shower gel back, can’t I?
Oh no, I’m so stupid, panicked to the point of losing my mind.
She patted her forehead regretfully; with a shift of thought, a vine flew from her palm.
Swiftly catching the drifting shower gel, with a tug, she threw the shower gel to shore.
She breathed a sigh of relief, a happy smile appearing on her face.
"Haha... my abilities are reliable after all, finally got it back."
Corbin watched her shift from anxious to happy like a fool, absolutely speechless.
This damned fat woman, does she have a screw loose?
A broken bottle is worth all this joy?
Filled with disdain, seeing her regain her strength, he naturally wouldn’t continue holding her, releasing his hands.
With a splash, Luna Sutton dropped straight into the water.
Her limbs flailed wildly, accidentally choking on several gulps of water.
"Ah... Corbin Crowley, you bastard, you just threw me in the water."
She emerged from the water, angrily glaring at him, shouting loudly.
Water dripped from her face, which she couldn’t be bothered to wipe away.
Right now, she only wanted to strangle this bastard of a man.
He saved her, and he let go too; does this bastard have a screw loose?
Corbin looked at her features twisted with anger, lip twitching, eyes flashing disdain.
This damned fat woman, ugly as she already is, looked even uglier like this.
He had kindly saved her, but instead of gratitude, she turned on him, utterly unreasonable.
"Don’t you have legs?"
He sneered coldly, expression mocking.
Implies, couldn’t she walk herself? Does she need me to hold her?
Upon hearing this, Luna Sutton’s face darkened even more.
This bastard of a man has such a sharp tongue.
She took a deep breath, suppressing the anger, and swam to the shore herself.
Forget it, a good woman doesn’t argue with men.
No, a good female doesn’t argue with males.
Besides, she didn’t have the energy to argue with him now.
She’d deal with this bastard later.
Thinking this, she swam faster.
Fortunately, the river wasn’t deep; although she was fat, she could swim and easily reached the shore.
She pressed her hands on the shore, exerting strength, climbing onto the bank, collapsing on the ground, panting heavily.
Corbin gave her a deep glance before walking downstream to bathe.
He didn’t want to stay with this damned fat woman to avoid catching her stupidity.
Luna Sutton saw him go downstream to bathe, rolling her eyes secretly.
How much did he disdain her to purposely run downstream to wash?
She was speechless in her heart, not bothered to argue, after all, being despised wasn’t the first time. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Resting for a while, feeling some strength return, she stood up, walked over to retrieve her shower gel.
Looking at the wooden bottle in her hand, a happy smile appeared on her face.
"Luckily it’s not broken."
She muttered to herself, placing it carefully with her Beast Skin Skirt.
Thinking her bath wasn’t finished, she reentered the river, standing immersed so the water just covered her chest.
Using the river for cover.
Luna Sutton took off her bra and panties to wash.
She glanced at the river and then at Corbin Crowley, who was already bathing downstream, a meaningful smile on her lips.
She held her panties and bra above the water, deliberately saying loudly: "Oh, this river water is so clear and clean; just right to wash my changed underwear and bra so I won’t have to tomorrow."
After speaking, she began leisurely washing her underwear and bra while facing the bastard’s direction.
The bathing Corbin, downstream: "..."
He couldn’t understand what underwear and bras were, but with a glance of his silver eyes, he knew they were the little clothes taken off those special areas of hers.
His movements paused, face instantly darkened.
This damned fat woman, did she do it on purpose?
Knowing he was bathing downstream, she intentionally washed those things upstream.
Corbin’s silver eyes flashed with anger, but he was helpless.
This river wasn’t his, after all, he couldn’t drive away this fat woman over this.
Luna Sutton washed while sneakily watching the reaction of the bastard downstream.
Seeing him turn his back on her, but obviously moving sluggishly, she stifled a laugh.
She deliberately shook the underwear in her hand, not caring if the bastard saw, said loudly, "Ah, it’s so clean, smells nice."
Corbin’s spine visibly stiffened, his face growing darker.
This damned fat woman was increasingly going overboard.
He took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing inner wrath, deciding to ignore her existence.
