Malachi Arcanus’s gaze fell on Luna Sutton, the meaning was unmistakable.

Zeke Veridian noticed and quickly joined, asking Luna Sutton without hesitation, "Where’s mine?"

Luna Sutton glanced at him but said nothing, promptly filling a bowl of soup for him, "Here, after finishing, serve yourself from the stone pot."

Zeke Veridian took the bowl, gave a faint "hmm," and ignored her, fully absorbed in the bone mushroom soup.

After a few attempts with chopsticks, he drank with his head down, almost burying his face in the bowl, yet without looking rude.

Primarily because he was handsome enough, his appearance was pleasing, though unfortunately, his mouth was quite sharp.

Just then, Rhys Blackwood returned carrying a processed reindeer.

At a glance, he saw Malachi Arcanus and Zeke Veridian eating with their heads down in the cave and immediately felt displeased.

Not that he cared they didn’t wait for him, but purely worried they would finish it all, leaving none for him.

He tossed the reindeer carelessly on the ground and went straight to the stone pot, finding plenty of soup inside, his expression slightly easing.

Nevertheless, he was puzzled.

He recalled Luna Sutton mentioning she made entrails for them to eat.

Despite how flavorful the soup was, it wasn’t filling.

Without waiting for Luna Sutton to approach, he picked up an empty stone bowl from the stove and scooped a full bowl of soup, with half a bowl of mushrooms and a bone placed on top.

He reached for a pair of chopsticks, carrying the soup into the cave to sit on the other side of the chair and drink.

The taste was as expected, truly delightful, and unlike anything he’d ever eaten.

It was hard to imagine placing two bones and mushrooms together could produce such a savory flavor.

So good one couldn’t get enough.

Malachi Arcanus and Zeke Veridian had long finished their soup and, without Luna Sutton’s help, went to serve themselves from the pot.

They drank bowl after bowl, unable to stop.

The mushrooms were thoroughly picked clean, not a single one left.

For the last bone, they nearly fought.
