Princess Eleanor sat on the chair as she tried to smile. Her face was filled with many emotions as she controlled her emotions.

"Princess Eleanor, I was hoping to meet you at the doors but now that I think about it, the Grand Duke said that Doctor Raul suggested that you rest," Crown Prince Richard smiled as he looked at the man sitting beside Princess Eleanor, "I did not know that Doctor Raul took it upon himself to support you all the way."

Princess Eleanor looked at her side as she saw the annoyed face of Doctor Raul. She could think that maybe it was all because of the Crown Prince’s words but there was fear in her heart. Princess Eleanor thought that maybe Doctor Raul will say something that he will regret.

"I am still a little weak," Princess Eleanor smiled as she took a spoonful into her mouth, "At least, I can eat now without vomiting,"

Princess Eleanor did not wait for the Crown Prince to say anything else as she looked at the chief healer with a smile, "I hope the chief healer is healthy. Why do you look paler than I am?"

The chief healer’s lips twitched in irritation as she shook his head in a hurry. It was true that he was a little worried that Doctor Raul would not let him into his small laboratory but there was still a ray of hope. But when they all sat down for breakfast and he tried to get some information, Doctor Raul ruthlessly made me swallow up his words. How could he be happy and willing to talk with the Princess then?

"The traveling was trisome. But I am happy that Doctor Raul’s medicines help the Princess to recover faster." The Chief healer smiled as he looked at Doctor Raul as he continued, "I just hope that I learn something from Doctor Raul so that I will be able to help the Princess if something happens to you at the Royal Palace."

"I can help the Princess if needed." Doctor Raul cut through the chief healer’s words. "Why don’t we stop talking about such things and ea? The Princess had not eaten anything since last night. And we cannot disturb the Crown Prince with your medicinal discussion. I hope the chief healer doesn’t mind discussing this matter later in the day."

The chief healer was silent but he soon realized that he was in no position to talk to the man right now. Doctor Raul’s words were clear. He will not entertain any discussion about the medicine.

Crown Prince Richard looked at the chief healer as he saw the man’s face full of resentment and fear. He knew that if the chief healer had brought up the top of medicines for so long then maybe it was instructed by Priest Erasmus.

"Okay, enough with this. The Princess is hungry so let’s focus on eating." the Crown Prince said as he started digging into the food. His gaze looked at Princess Eleanor from time to time but soon he was disappointed.

Crown Prince Richard was a proud man. He was someone who knew his value. Although the rumors surrounding him were not good, he was intelligent and cunning. For a man like him who was known to be the man in everyone’s heart, he was confident in his facial features.

Crown Prince Richard knew he was handsome and he also knew that none of the ladies could be spared from his charm. He was someone who no one could resist. Even all the Princesses who had entered the Royal Palace were enchanted by him.

’I had breakfast and lunch with the Princesses and all of them at least looked at me once or twice, why is she not looking at me?’ The Crown Prince thought as he looked at Princess Eleanor after every few seconds. Somewhere in his heart, he had a slight hope that the Princess would look at him and they both could look at one another coincidentally. After all, it was something all the ladies loved but none of it happened.

All Princess Eleanor did was look down at her place and eat silently as if it was the best thing she had eaten. This feeling of ignorance left a bad taste in the Crown Prince’s mouth as he struggled to swallow the food.

’I always knew that the chef at the Grand Duke mansion was good but was they so good that the Princess could not look at anyone else? I had eaten much better food in the Royal palace. What is so great about this?’

Although the Crown Prince thought so, he could not help but eat a few mouthfuls of the food. The chef at the Grand Duke’s mansion was someone who was known for his talent over the Empire.

The rest of the breakfast was in silence. None of the people said anything as they ate quietly.

Soon the breakfast was over and none of them knew what to expect, but the Crown Prince had different thoughts in mind. Crown Prince Richard got up as he looked at the Princess who was also standing at this point.

"I hope the Princess will not mind going on a small walk with me. We can take a round of the garden." The Crown Prince offered his hand to Princess Eleanor. Although the Princess wanted to refuse it and move back she knew that she could not do anything at the moment. Princess Eleanor nodded her head as she held onto the Crown Prince’s hand as she walked beside him.

Princess Eleanor did not forget to look back at Doctor Raul as she smiled. Her gaze was filled with only a sentence, ’Follow the plan,’

The atmosphere was filled with brightness as the air was filled with freshness.

Princess Eleanor walked alongside the Crown Prince as she looked around with a smile on her face. She could feel a contact gaze on her which was making her uncomfortable but Princess Eleanor knew that she could not question the man.

"The Princess seems to enjoy this kind of environment." The Crown Prince said with a smile, His hold on the Princess’s hand tightly as he waited for her reply.

"Well, I wall in the room all this time. I just feel refreshed being outside after so long." Princess Eleanor smiled innocently as she looked at the Crown Prince for the first time since they entered the garden.

The man was happy but his happiness did not last long. Crown Prince Richard soon felt like the Princess was not interested in interacting with him, as her eyes constantly looked back at her lady in waiting who was a few meters away, giving them privacy.

"Does the Princess like her lady in waiting a lot?" The Crown Prince asked but his tone was filled with dangerous intent. Princess Eleanor was silent as she tried to analyze the situation. She knew that one wrong answer and she might put Nia’s life in danger.

"It is not like I care about her," Princess Eleanor sighed, "Doctor Raul had advised her to look after me. I just want to make sure that she is following and had not lost her way. After all, she is the only one who had followed me from the Angevin Kingdom. I think I feel responsible for her."

"She is Princess Eleanor’s lady in waiting. She should be looking after the Princess and not the other way around." The Crown Prince laughed but his gaze was sharp as if he was ready to give Nia an earful.

"Well, I had not seen Commander Colt since last night. If he was here then Nia would not be the one following us." Princess Eleanor said in a soft voice as if she had suffered a lot, "I know that the Crown Prince had assigned him to me, but sometimes, I do not know where the man goes. I had tried so hard to catch hold of him but Command Colt sometimes disappeared for a few hours."

Princess Eleanor’s eyes looked at the Crown Prince as if she wanted an answer from him. "But I do not blame him. After all, he is a busy man."

Listening to Princess Eleanor’s voice the Crown Prince’s lips twitched. It was just a few seconds ago he was thinking about how he could use Princess Eleanor’s lady in waiting if he wanted the Princess to obey him if the situation calls for it, but now it seems that he had overestimated the situation.

Princess Eleanor was not acting for Nia but was annoyed that her escort was absent. The Crown Prince could not say anything but after all, the time Commander Colt disappeared he was at the Royal Palace reporting the day’s events to him. The Crown Prince knows that he could not say that to the Princess but all he could do was distract her for the time being.

"I heard the Grand Duke has a garden here? Why don’t we go and see it, Princess?"
