The Villainess Winning Back Her Beast Husbands-Chapter 31: A Cub With You
Elias Moretti’s gaze darkened. Fallen Beastman were not tolerated on the Beastman Continent. ’Could she really be a Fallen Beastman?’
Just as Elias Moretti’s thoughts were swirling, Saskia’s hand had already snuck in, caressing his firm chest.
Saskia was a Silkworm Beastman, her palms soft and delicate. Everywhere they touched, it was as if they carried clusters of dancing flames, instantly igniting Elias Moretti’s senses. Warmth spread rapidly from his chest throughout his entire body.
An uncontrollable heat washed over Elias Moretti’s body, and his breathing became ragged.
He stared at Saskia with crimson eyes, and after a moment, he swept her into his arms and turned to enter the cave.

Meanwhile, Evangeline followed Thorne back to the cave.
She didn’t bother treating the wounds on her body. Instead, she took a prepared rabbit from her spatial storage and began to cook.
’They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,’ and she had specifically taken cooking classes.
When Orion arrived, he saw two Herbivores spitted over the fire. The flames licked at them, causing them to sizzle and glisten with fat, reflecting the firelight with a tempting sheen.
On the Beastman Continent, only females enjoyed eating cooked meat; males needed fresh beast blood to grow stronger.
However, as Evangeline picked up a pinch of seasoning and sprinkled it evenly over the meat, a potent and rich aroma instantly broke free, spreading wantonly through the cave and making one’s mouth water.
"What are you sprinkling on it?" Orion asked curiously, crouching down.
Without looking up, Evangeline replied, "Seasoning. Time to give you primitive natives a little shock."
"Primitive? Natives? What’s that?" Orion looked at Evangeline, completely puzzled. ’This little maiden always says things others don’t understand, but there’s no doubt she knows a lot.’
Evangeline couldn’t be bothered to explain. She pointed toward the cave. "Thorne’s inside. Go find him. Give him a pep talk."
Orion paused, then stood up and walked into the cave.
Thorne sat alone on a rock in the corner, his face pale, his expression numb and hollow.
Hearing the footsteps, Thorne slowly turned his head to look at Orion. "Why haven’t you gone back yet?" he asked in a hoarse voice.
Orion strode in and sat down directly, his movements so practiced and natural it was as if this was his own home.
A faint smile played on his lips. "Flora said she wants me to stay and eat this roasted Herbivore with her."
The corner of Thorne’s eye twitched almost imperceptibly. He let out a cold laugh, his voice soft but laced with a hostile edge. "From the sound of it, you seem to trust her a little?"
At these words, Orion paused, turning to look at Thorne with a frown. "Thorne, you can’t keep yourself trapped in hatred. Evangeline is nowhere to be found. No one knows where she’s fled. Danton might have taken her to Zylos and hidden her there. How are you going to find her?"
Before Thorne could speak, Orion continued in an earnest tone, "Flora is indeed mysterious and hard to trust, but think about it. Since she came to the Grymdale Tribe, she’s already saved you twice!"
"A female willing to risk her life to save you, who doesn’t even mind that you have a Contract... what are you still thinking about? The Oasis Tribe has been annihilated. Stop worrying about Evangeline. It’s more important to live your own life."
As he spoke, Orion reached out and patted Thorne’s shoulder in a comforting gesture.
"I don’t trust her," Thorne sneered, the coldness and suspicion in his handsome features undisguised.
"Is that so?" Orion raised an eyebrow and chuckled, gesturing toward the activity outside. "Then how can you tolerate her staying here? That doesn’t seem like you, does it?"
Thorne froze, looking up at Orion. His dark green eyes swirled with a vicious energy, like a trapped beast. "Orion, she can help me. As long as I can find Evangeline and kill her, I’m willing to pay any price."
Hearing those words, so full of malevolence, a chill ran down Orion’s spine.
Although he was well aware of Thorne’s hatred for Evangeline, to see it concentrated to this degree was still startling.
Orion pressed his lips together, his normally carefree face showing a hint of displeasure. He said in a low voice, "Flora is just a female. She shouldn’t get dragged into this business between you and Evangeline."
Hearing this, Thorne stared at Orion for a moment. "You’ve taken a liking to this female?"
Orion was taken aback and subconsciously shook his head. "Females are haughty and too much trouble. I’ve never thought about getting a Contract."
Just as he was speaking, Evangeline returned with a light spring in her step.
She steadily held a massive leaf with both hands. On it sat two glistening roasted rabbits, their skins baked to a tempting golden-brown, promising a crispy exterior and tender meat.
Beside the roasted rabbits was a dish of alluringly colored spicy diced rabbit.
The tender rabbit cubes and fiery red chili peppers complemented each other, their rich aroma making one’s mouth water.
"ACHOO—!" Orion couldn’t help but sneeze. He looked at the bright red things on the leaf in surprise. "How could you... ACHOO, put Thorny Fruit with meat... ACHOO..."
He couldn’t finish a single sentence without sneezing. Evangeline glanced up. ’Great, one who can’t handle spicy food.’
She casually handed one of the golden-brown roasted Herbivores to Thorne, her eyes curving into crescents. "Here, eat."
Thorne’s eyes were fixed on her, his gaze heavy, as he silently studied her for a moment.
He didn’t reach out to take the roasted Herbivore that Evangeline offered.
After a moment, his lips parted slightly, and a string of hoarse, cold words escaped from between his teeth. "No matter what your purpose is in approaching me, I can agree to your terms. But first, you have to promise me one thing."
Evangeline blinked, popped a piece of spicy, fragrant diced rabbit into her mouth, and pricked up her ears.
The next instant, it was as if a frigid gust from the Netherdeep had swept through, thick with malevolent energy. Thorne gritted his teeth and spoke, enunciating each word. "Find Evangeline for me. I want to personally... wring her neck!"
Hearing this, Evangeline felt a chill on her neck and silently sat up straighter.
She pondered for a long moment, then tilted her head to look at Thorne. "If I remember correctly, after a male and female form a Contract, if the female dies, the male will be gravely injured, even if he doesn’t die as well. Do you hate her that much?"
’Hate her enough to disregard his own life?’
Orion, already making himself at home, had picked up a roasted Herbivore and devoured it in a few CRUNCHING bites, not even spitting out the bones.
Hearing Evangeline’s question, he didn’t hesitate to speak for Thorne, his voice full of coldness. "Evangeline dug out Thorne’s Beast Crystal, causing his Star Pattern to shatter and his lifespan to plummet. He even lost the ability to father children. This is a mortal feud. If he can have his revenge by dying, Thorne won’t hesitate for a second."
After speaking, Orion shot Evangeline a look. "You’re just a little maiden. Of course you can’t understand."
Evangeline ignored Orion and looked at Thorne instead. "How can you be so sure I can find her?"
Thorne’s dark green eyes swept over Evangeline, lingering on the glaring bloodstains on her clothes before he looked away. "I don’t care what your motive is for approaching me. But your abilities... they’ve given me hope for revenge."
’Danton has hidden Evangeline. He’s one of The Tideborn; it’s very difficult for a Terrestrial Beastman to find someone he’s hidden.’
’But this female before me is different. She’s a Witch—and a Witch who possesses many powers!’
Evangeline thought for a moment, then nodded. "Fine! I’ll help you!"
’Killing... my... self. Heh, this should be fun.’
The moment she said it, the atmosphere in the cave froze.
Thorne and Orion turned their gazes to Evangeline at almost the same time, their two lines of sight locking onto her.
Thorne’s expression was grim, his dark green eyes like bottomless pools. He parted his lips slightly, his voice low and hoarse as if rumbling from deep within his chest, enunciating each word. "What do you want?"
A glint of cunning flashed in Evangeline’s eyes. A faint, almost imperceptible smile played on her lips as she slowly raised one finger toward Thorne. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Her eyes were bright as she looked directly at Thorne, her tone light but heavy with hidden meaning.
"I want a child. A child... conceived with you."
