Chapter 32: Who Was That Man?!

"Why should I explain everything to you?" Abigail’s good mood vanished without a trace after witnessing this grumpy old man look at Nicholas. "It’s not as if we married on good terms. It’s just a contract that will end someday, right? Why should I share any f*cking thing with you?"

Nicholas was losing his patience as he asked, "Who was that man?" He asked her about Arthur back there.

Something clicked in Abigail’s head as she raised her head and looked at the man as if he had transformed into someone else. Her eyes widened as she stared at him as she let out a chuckle, transforming her mood to happy once again. "God, don’t tell me, you’re jealous, aren’t you?"

"Who’s jealous?!" Nicholas would never admit even to himself that he didn’t like the way his wife was staring at an unknown young man, although Arthur might be gay!

"You are." Abigail simply stated the fact.

Nicholas felt veins popping on his forehead. He instantly let the woman’s hand go and walked away as if he were running away from someone. "Let’s go."

"Ah? No, clear me up. I’m still confused!" She hurried after him and looked at him with a smirking face, full of pride. "You’re blushing."

Nicholas’s footsteps quickened at those words.

Just who the heck was blushing?! He shouldn’t have stopped to confront this damned woman. If she wanted to stare at others, she could stare all day long! This should have nothing to do with him at all!

Nicholas didn’t know what kind of medicine he ate today to talk to this woman in the first place!

Abigail was a great observant of other people’s emotions when she wanted to. So she knew what exactly was going on with Nicholas.

Oh boy, the seduction game was going to be so much fun! This man was certainly a toy to play with!

They both sat in the backseat of a luxurious car as Nicholas gestured for the driver to turn on the engine. The car sped off, but Abigail, who should have been glancing outside the window like always, was constantly staring at her dear husband, with a playful smile on her face at that.

The more she stared, the more embarrassed Nicholas felt in his heart. But his cold and icy face didn’t let out a single emotion he was feeling inside.

Soon, he snapped at her, "What the f*ck do you want?"

"Weren’t you unhappy that I stared at Arthur?" Abigail would be shameless when she wanted to be and said bluntly, "So now, I’m staring at you. Aren’t you happy, dear husband?"

The driver nearly stepped on the break after hearing those words. He had heard that the relationship between these two people wasn’t good. Heck, they hadn’t even been married for long, just a few days.

But thankfully, his control over the car was firm. So he managed to drive perfectly.

"Who said I was unhappy?" Nicholas didn’t want to talk about this at all. So he turned away and pulled out his phone, calling his assistant.

"Did you book the tickets?"

Abigail’s ears perked up at that as her heart became alarmed. "What tickets?"

Nicholas showed a slightly pleased expression as he nodded, "Alright. Let’s pack our bags tonight."

"What bags? Where are you going?" Abigail turned anxious in an instant, staring hard at her husband.

Nicholas didn’t even spare her a single glance and continued to talk business with his assistant. Lengthy conservation related to some shares and projects that Abigail couldn’t understand, but she indeed realized something.

Ah, even after this, her dear husband was still going on this trip!

What should she do?!

"Nicholas!" This was probably the first time she was yelling out his name, but the man still ignored her.

Her anxiety soon transformed into anger.

How dare he ignore her when she was talking to him?!

The more she waited, the more her anger increased. Finally, she took Nicholas’s phone, opened the window, and directly threw it out, as far as she could.

"Now, you will listen to what I have to ask!" Abigail, with an angry-looking face, pointed her finger at her husband and said, "Tell me, where the f*ck are you going and why didn’t you tell me?! You asked me why I was at the gay bar, didn’t you? Why don’t you ask your brother?! Now that we are clear, I need to know why you are going on this trip. Weren’t you busy?"

With his phone gone, Nicholas’s mood turned icy in an instant. He glanced at her coldly and said to the driver, "Stop the car."

The driver also didn’t dare to make his boss wait and stopped the car.

Nicholas leaned over and clicked open the door on Abigail’s side. Then he straightened up on his seat and looked at her coldly, "Get out."

"What did you just say?" Abigail’s eyes blazed with fire as she looked at her husband and held the front seat firmly, saying, "I’ll never get out of this car! I’m Mrs. Harrison! What right do you have to kick me out?!"

"Your husband." Nicholas really wanted peace, but ever since he made the terrible decision to marry this woman, his life was anything but that.

For once, he wanted to teach his dear wife a lesson. Since she was so arrogant, let her try and return to the main villa on her own. Heck, he knew she wasn’t even aware of their home address.

Heh, he would like to see how she would manage to get back in one piece. If she died in the process, he would be more than happy.

So he opened the door on his side and got out of the car. Then he walked over to Abigail’s side, forcibly pulling her out. "If you dare, return on your own."

After speaking those words, Nicholas entered the car and ordered the driver to drive it off.

Of course, how could Abigail stand by and watch something like this happen? She instantly started hitting the window, screaming in anger.

"You... You call yourself a man?! Is this how you treat your wife? I dare you to come out and fight me fair and square!" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

From the inside, she looked like an angry woman who kept screaming in silent mode. Nicholas felt at peace once again as he leaned back in his seat and said, "Drive."

The driver felt a layer of sweat on his forehead. "But boss, Madam Rosa will-"

"If you want to get out too, keep speaking."

The driver didn’t dare to say a single word and turned on the engine. He silently apologized to Mrs. Harrison as the car went off, leaving a screaming and yelling Abigail behind.
