The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 198: The Seed Has Sprouted
Owen’s life changed drastically these days. He literally had nothing to do all day long. He also knew that he would be kicked out of his hospital and charged with a criminal offense. And if he got caught, he might even end up getting a death sentence by the court without hearing a single word coming out of his mouth.
After all, he did run away with a ’criminal’ and it was a big offense in the country no matter what. Thus, it was better to stay here, hidden with Abigail.
As for money....
He didn’t have to worry about it. He had already told the villagers about his situation and they agreed to let him stay. He would just have to do small business for them anytime, anyday during his stay here when Abigail was sleeping. That’s all.
The village chief was also understanding, and he knew Owen since his childhood days. Thus, the old man let the guy stay despite seeing the news, and he was utterly grateful for that.
Thus, Owen’s schedule changed to this.
Early in the morning, he would wake up to go to ’work’ and return within the time frame when Abigail woke up. After that, he would get her ready, make some food, take care of her medicines, and then have a walk in the garden with her.
In the evening, he would head over to the village chief’s house for dinner and return soundly without doing anything extra. Then they would take another walk outside saying nothing. Even if the conversation would go on, it would only be Owen to speak words.
These days, Abigail has also relaxed. She could see Owen’s efforts, and honestly, even she didn’t understand why this man wanted to save her at all. But when she remembered he was the same person as Nicholas, Asher, and even Silas from her previous life, she would only realize how naive she was to ask that question to herself.
Thus, she easily fell off the depressed days with his help and became as jubilant as before. After all, no matter what, Owen was the same person as her husband. She could see traces of Nicholas in him, but not much. It was okay though as long as she got to be with the man. For the feeling she got with Nicholas whenever she would be with him, get touched by him, it was the exact same feeling that she got with Owen.
How could she not trust her intuition and heart?
Thus, these days, Abigail was so relaxed that she temporarily forgot about the danger lurking behind her back, ready to stab the back of her chest, thrusting directly into her heart.
On the other side, as Abigail was enjoying and getting close with Owen every single day, Rosa, who had been very patient, opened the system as the corners of her lips twitched a bit after seeing Abigail’s stats.
It directly rose to 90% once again, reaching closer to being fully happy. All of her efforts seemed to have been drained. She closed the dashboard and headed toward the prop she had used up on Owen.
Finally. The seed had sprouted already.
The corners of her lips finally curved up. It was time to end this all once and for all.
After that, she made a few phone calls and walked out of the house. It had been more than a week ever since the couple ran away from the sight of the police, and even the court issued a warrant against them to catch them at all cost and give them both a death sentence. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
Since the criminals themselves were absent, even the lawyers couldn’t do a single thing and the case was finalized.
After finishing her phone call, Rosa stood up and walked toward her car. She entered the backseat of her car and ordered the driver, "Head to the M village."
The driver also tilted his head in confusion.
That village was very downgraded to the point that no one travels there. Even the citizens of that village seemed to have migrated to the city, and the people living there were very limited.
Why would Mrs. Harrison wants to go there in the first place?
But who was he to refuse her orders? She was his boss. He just shrugged and drove off to the road.
Rosa’s idea was simple. She would kill whoever made Abigail feel good, thus sending her into the depths of depression. Once her value reached zero, the system promised that she would die in real life and that the villain could replace Abigail’s consciousness, getting successfully outside the realm of this terrible book.
Even the thought itself was enough for Rosa to relax.
Finally, after such a long time she was able to get out of this hell hole. God knows how many times she was forced to play the role of the villain, and God knows how many times she hated this role and hated the author of this world for creating her that way.
Yes, after she died, she would be born again as ’Abigail’ who was ignored by her mother and who turned into a villain by the force of the story, not giving her any choice.
Now that there was a candy right in front of her after rendering her hungry for all her life, how could she not approach it? This was the first time she acted like this and killed people because she wanted to, not because she was forced by the story rules.
When she reached the place, it was already night. She stopped by the main gate of the village and had the driver park the car a little away into the woods. Then looked toward the couple casually taking a walk.
At the moment, Abigail’s cheeks had turned a little rosy as she smiled while letting the man walk through the garden on a wheelchair. Seeing them Rosa sneered.
This Abigail didn’t deserve to be treated like this. After what she had done to her, the woman deserved hell!
Rosa’s eyes turned colder and colder as she watched them head back to their home.
Now, she knew what she should do.
The corners of her lips curved up upon thinking of her plan.
