The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 158: A Little Break
Abigail couldn’t help but feel a little sad upon seeing his face. She lowered her head, sniffing a bit. She swallowed the traces of sadness that throbbed in her throat, making her feel choked up. She could even feel tears threatening to roll down her cheeks.
Damn, why was she feeling like this? Asher was still here, but her intuition said something was terribly wrong. She almost fell short of breath. But since he didn’t want to see her face right now, she would avert her eyes and go away.
Thus, she turned around, opened the door, and walked out without turning back. After taking a few deep breaths, she finally pulled out the bottle of medicine and put it in her mouth, gulping it just like that.
Since the medicines were slippery, she didn’t really need water to gulp it down.
After this, she walked toward her scene and was met with the worried gaze of Susan. But she managed to stretch the corners of her lips to form a shallow smile, saying, "Let’s continue."
Owen frowned upon seeing her. Before this, her expressions were quite obvious, and he knew that she kind of felt a little jealous of Rebecca, but what now?
It couldn’t be that she had a fight with him, could it?
His brows furrowed deeper, but the next second, he shook his head and decided not to think about it anymore.
Since he had already decided not to pick up on his emotions for her and continue loving her, he wouldn’t care about her personal life anymore no matter what.
He averted his gaze and looked at Rebecca, nodding at her. "Let’s get ready."
He was quite professional when he decided on it. At this time, even though the scene was romantic, he didn’t feel even a single trace of embarrassment in his heart. Despite everything, he managed to sit on the chair like before and looked at Abigail. "Miss Olivia, I’m ready when you are."
From his past conversations with Abigail, he kind of knew her fake name. Thus, he didn’t have to think twice before taking that name.
Abigail was stunned and nodded as she walked toward the balcony. After she hid properly, she showed a thumbs-up sign.
The scene proceeded appropriately this time, and without any disturbances, it passed without any distractions. Even Abigail’s expressions were up to the mark as she continued to hide there. It could be said that her current mental state was accurately determining how Lily felt in that scene.
Heartbroken.
Angry.
Helpless.
Frustration.
All at the same time. And there was also a hint of coldness and indifference floating in her eyes as she looked at the male lead.
After seeing her accurate and perfect expressions, Susan’s eyes sparkled with joy. She couldn’t believe that she found such a perfect villain for her novel. Olivia was a gem she found in her movie!
If things went right, she would be able to become the first director to shoot such a wondrous and perfect future superstar! Her movies would probably be considered as one of Olivia’s classics!
Even thinking about it made Susan’s heart jump like a rabbit in the cage of her heart as if it were too excited for the future.
Thus, after the scene passed, Susan looked outside. It was already late afternoon, early morning as she looked at the time on her watch and said, "Olivia, your scenes are over, there’s one more scene we have to shoot at night where you will be kidnapping Rebecca’s character.
"After that, let’s pack up. So we still have to wait until it gets dark." She raised her head and smiled. "You can do whatever you want until then. Enjoy."
"Susan!" One of the actors walked ahead and said, "Why don’t we go and enjoy a club nearby? We will have a little rest. I’ll pay for everyone!"
"Alright. Since you’re paying up," Susan relaxed her shoulders and massed them with her hands lightly, saying, "I’ll allow. In fact, let me share this moment with you guys!"
"Uh... director..." The cameraman felt the corner of his lips twitching after seeing this scene. He almost felt like he would go crazy if he continued to work with such a director. Wasn’t this woman supposed to go and check out the scenes, putting them in order?
Then what the heck was she doing, wasting her time like this?!
"What?" Susan felt a headache whenever she looked at this director of hers. She rubbed her forehead and said, "I’ll review the scenes later. Jonus, I’m also a human. I need a break a few times a week, okay? Let me have it."
The cameraman sighed and put down his camera, stretching his body. He had been sitting there for such a long time already, and he couldn’t be bothered to do it anymore. Since everyone was taking a break, why not join the crowd?
"Let me join you guys too."
Thus, everyone got ready to head over to the club just like that. Abigail also didn’t think much about it and joined the crowd, walking with Susan. Her intuition though didn’t disappear, it increased more and more. She looked back at the room where Asher was and hesitated.
"Wait a moment." She said to the director, "I’ll be back."
"Okay."
Then Abigail rushed to that room and knocked on the door. Even though it didn’t open, the man’s voice echoed from the other side.
"What?"
It was cold and indifferent, but a trace of softness had already appeared.
Abigail released the breath she was holding and smiled. "Asher, let’s go. We are going to the club."
Asher shook his head as he leaned against the door, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I’ll come, just a bit later. You go ahead of me."
"But..." Abigail pursed her lips and thought for a moment. She finally decided on something and took a deep breath, saying, "Tell you what? I’ll marry you one day once I end up divorcing Nicholas."
"What?" Asher was stunned after hearing those words. He instantly turned around and held the doorknob, but for some reason, he didn’t want to open the door. For him, Abigail standing on the other side almost felt like his own hallucination.
Otherwise, why would she speak about such a thing so easily? She was naive and she never understood her heart. So how come she managed to speak like that so bluntly?
But of course, seeing how Abigail was acting around Nicholas, Asher didn’t believe her. He knew that the place his cousin had in her heart could never be changed. He smiled self-mockingly and said, "Sure. I’ll be waiting."
