The Villainess Cannot Escape — Five Beast Husbands Chase Her Madly-Chapter 114: Big Fish Was Moved by Su An’an
’Your Highness, this is bad! Big Fish and Alita’s Beast Husband are fighting!’
Little Pink’s urgent voice exploded in Su An’an’s mind.
Su An’an shot to her feet and whipped her head toward the garden entrance.
Twenty meters away, Lan Cangming’s white military uniform snapped in the wind. The Ice Sword condensed in his palm was pressed against Louis’s throat.
Red blood seeped from the Leopard Beastman’s neck, freezing into sharp Ice Crystals the moment it dripped to the ground.
Su An’an’s pupils contracted sharply. She had never seen Big Fish look so murderous.
"Lan Cangming, do you have a death wish?!"
The roar pierced the stagnant air.
The fur all over Alita’s body stood on end, and a massive feline phantom materialized behind her.
She shot forward like an arrow loosed from a bow, her sharp cat claws springing from her fingertips as she aimed for Lan Cangming’s face.
Lan Cangming’s brow furrowed slightly. The Ice Sword in his palm dissipated into motes of blue light as he stood his ground, waiting for the attack.
Just as Alita’s claws were about to tear into his throat, a figure flashed between the two like lightning.
"Sister, he’s my Beast Husband. It’s not your place to discipline him!"
Su An’an’s expression was stern as she grabbed Alita’s wrist.
Alita’s cat-like pupils narrowed to slits. She gritted her teeth and said, "Let go! He almost killed Louis!"
"Sister, calm down. There must be some kind of misunderstanding. Lan Cangming wouldn’t attack another Beastman without reason."
Su An’an turned her head to look at Lan Cangming. "What exactly happened?"
Lan Cangming lowered his gaze. After a long moment, he squeezed three words from between his teeth: "He lost control."
The last syllable faded on the wind, and he fell silent again. Strands of blue hair fell to obscure half of his stern face.
’He never opens his mouth when it matters. He’s asking for a beating!’
Su An’an was going crazy with anger. She could only ask Little Pink in her mind:
’Tell me, how did Lan Cangming and Louis suddenly start fighting?’
Little Pink’s voice was filled with a gossipy urgency.
’I don’t know the specifics, but Louis suddenly went berserk after he saw Princess Aleta kiss you. Lan Cangming was the one who stepped in to stop him!’
’Damn it, now his possessive psycho-drama is aimed at me. I have no interest in being a part of Alita and Louis’s twisted games.’
Su An’an instantly put on a pitiful expression, her voice turning soft and aggrieved. "Sister, if you’re going to blame someone, blame me. It’s all my fault for being thoughtless."
Alita faltered for a second, retracting her claws. "What does this have to do with you?"
Su An’an lowered her gaze, her eyelashes trembling slightly, her voice choked with sobs:
"It must be because I’m so stupid. I didn’t know how to keep a proper distance from you, Sister, and that’s why Louis misunderstood."
"He treasures you so much, Sister. When he saw you being so good to me, he must have thought I was a malicious little sister trying to steal your affection!"
She sniffled, the corners of her eyes red as she looked up. "But I really like you so much, Sister! I just wanted to be a little closer to you. I never thought it would make Louis angry and get Lan Cangming dragged into it."
Alita’s cat-like pupils contracted sharply. She turned to Louis and questioned him furiously:
"Is what Anan said true? You were going to attack her out of jealousy?"
"I didn’t!" Louis stared at the rage swirling in Alita’s eyes, belatedly realizing he had crossed a major line.
Alita could tolerate him eliminating any love rival, but she would not permit him to harm Su An’an in the slightest.
"Sister, don’t be angry."
Tears welled up in Su An’an’s eyes as she rubbed her reddened wrist pitifully.
"It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have gotten so close to you, Sister. Louis must have just been overly concerned about you and lost control for a moment."
"Concerned?" Alita’s cat eyes narrowed into dangerous vertical slits.
She spun around and slapped Louis hard across the face.
Her sharp claws raked his cheek, and beads of blood immediately dripped down his jaw. "Even if you’re ’concerned,’ you need to know the rules!"
Louis dropped to one knee, letting his blood drip onto the sandy ground.
He lowered his gaze to avoid Alita’s fury, but his voice was stubborn. "I was just..."
"Enough!" Alita’s cat ears flattened back. She commanded coldly, "From now on, you are not to come within five steps of Anan without my permission."
Su An’an watched Louis’s fists clench and unclench.
This leopard Beastman before her knelt quietly, but his whole body radiated a suppressed viciousness. He was very dangerous.
But seeing Alita’s expression grow uglier, she didn’t dare add fuel to the fire and quickly tried to soothe her:
"Sister, don’t be angry anymore. You look terrible. You should go back and rest."
Alita pressed her temples, a hint of exhaustion suddenly showing on her face.
She brushed away the hand Louis extended to her, but her tone softened when she met Su An’an’s worried gaze.
"I’m sorry, Anan. I’ll make it up to you later."
"We’re sisters, what is there to make up for!"
Su An’an gently patted Alita’s back and said in a low voice, "Go home and think carefully about what I told you earlier. If you need anything, you can come find me anytime."
’Alita had poured her heart out to her, and she didn’t want her sister to sacrifice her own health for that possessive Beast Husband.’
Alita nodded, turning with slightly unsteady steps.
Louis followed in silence. As he brushed past, Su An’an heard a very faint, cold laugh escape his throat.
She watched their retreating figures, a strange feeling rising in her heart.
Alita always said that Louis was her most obedient Beast Husband.
’But that cold laugh just now... why did it sound like a poisoned blade?’
’Oh well. I’ll let my sister rest up first. Then I’ll deal with that possessive psycho.’
Lan Cangming opened a shell-shaped container of pearl cream and applied it to Su An’an’s reddened wrist. His voice was like it had been frozen by ice and snow. "Does it hurt?"
"What a stupid question!" Su An’an tried to pull her hand back, but he only held it tighter.
Lan Cangming lowered his gaze, focusing on massaging her wrist. As the pads of his fingers worked in the ointment, he said in a low voice, "You shouldn’t have stopped Alita."
He was tough-skinned; a slap wouldn’t have mattered.
"So you wanted me to just stand by and watch her claw up your face?"
Su An’an angrily kicked at Lan Cangming’s calf, but the impact against his taut muscles made her own foot throb with pain.
’This Big Fish wasn’t just tough-skinned; he took all the damage in places she couldn’t see.’
Su An’an gritted her teeth and warned, "If you dare be such a clam again, I’ll..."
"You’ll what?" Lan Cangming looked up, a dark tide churning in his eyes, as if it would surge forth at any moment.
An irrepressible emotion welled up in his heart.
He never expected that Su An’an would confront Alita just to stand up for him.
’What did I ever do to deserve such favor from my Female Master?’
"What do you think?" Su An’an narrowed her eyes, her fingertip tracing a slow path from his chin to his chest.
Through the thin shirt, she felt the raised scales on his chest and the rapid heartbeat beneath.
"I don’t know. I beg my Female Master to teach me," Lan Cangming said in a low voice, his webbed ears gradually turning red.
"What’s this? You’re not telling me to go away now?"
Su An’an pulled her hand back with a haughty little smirk, but as she took half a step back, her fingertips remained tangled in his blue hair.
Little Pink’s frantic, ranting electronic voice exploded in her mind, mixed with the scent of roses, making the tips of her ears burn.
’Your Highness, you stood up to Alita for him, and your hand got all red! You can’t forgive him so easily!’
’First, make him get on his knees and beg for mercy, then you can properly teach him how to serve his Female Master!’
