The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 374 - 373: I Can Help You Cuckold Him
Noticing Jenna Shaw’s gaze on him, Clay Yates instantly straightened his back. His eyes held a hint of nervousness, like a pitiful little puppy.
Jenna Shaw looked away and frowned. "That’s alright, thank you, Mrs. Young. If he wants to stand there, let him."
Mrs. Young looked like she wanted to say something more, but Brother Young tugged at her sleeve. The two exchanged a glance and finally left. "Well then, Simon, eat up while it’s hot."
Jenna Shaw nodded.
Several of her favorite dishes were laid out on the table. Jenna Shaw picked up a lamb skewer first.
Halfway through her meal, Jenna Shaw couldn’t take it anymore. She hated the feeling of being watched, so she waved Clay Yates over.
Clay Yates reacted instantly, taking a few steps forward. He lowered his head slightly to look at Jenna Shaw, a hint of apprehension on his face.
Jenna Shaw looked up at him. He was very tall, and she felt that craning her neck like this was too much effort, so she told him to sit down.
Clay Yates eagerly took a seat, an irrepressible smile spreading across his face. "Jenna..."
Jenna Shaw stared at him coldly. "You and Walter Ford are two peas in a pod. You were standing over there just to stir up my sympathy and get what you want, weren’t you? Unfortunately for you, I’m long past the point of letting tricks like that cloud my judgment. I find your kind of scheming utterly disgusting. Just spit it out. What do you really want from me? Stop beating around the bush."
"No, that’s not it..." Clay Yates shot to his feet. "I... I wasn’t trying to guilt-trip you. I wasn’t watching you from over there so I could sit down. I... I was just..."
He looked at the beer bottles in front of Jenna Shaw. "Drinking is bad for your health."
Jenna Shaw gave him a baffled look. "Don’t worry about it. I can hold my liquor. A few beers aren’t going to take me down."
"I didn’t realize you hated me standing there so much. If you don’t like it, I’ll leave now." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Jenna Shaw stopped him. "Sit down. Have a drink with me."
Clay Yates sat down across from Jenna Shaw. He watched as she poured him a drink, his gaze wary and probing. "Why are you here? Do you like this barbecue place too?"
"I like what you like."
"What?"
"I mean, what a coincidence. Turns out you like this barbecue place too."
After that, neither of them spoke. Clay Yates looked like he wanted to say something several times, but he clamped his mouth shut whenever he glanced at Jenna Shaw’s expression.
"Do you know that Walter Ford has a secretary named Crystal Bishop?"
Jenna Shaw asked suddenly.
Clay Yates thought for a moment. "I don’t really remember. I’m a little face-blind."
"You don’t know what’s going on between Walter Ford and Crystal Bishop? He doesn’t take you with him when he goes out to party?"
Clay Yates grew flustered. "No, Walter Ford likes to book all-nighters at private clubs. I don’t go to those places."
Jenna Shaw studied him carefully. When she saw the sincerity on his face, she relaxed a bit. Her words were no longer so sharp when she spoke again.
"Why do you ask? Did Walter Ford do something to make you angry?"
"You’d find out sooner or later anyway. Walter Ford cheated on me." Jenna’s voice was heavy as she said it.
"I’m going to break off our engagement."
"Really?"
Hearing the undisguised delight in Clay Yates’s voice, Jenna Shaw couldn’t help but frown at him. "What’s that supposed to mean? Are you happy that I got cheated on? Waiting for me to make a fool of myself?"
"That’s not it..." Clay Yates reined in his emotions. "I was just thinking... Walter Ford doesn’t deserve you. You should find someone more suitable, at least not a womanizer like him."
"Aren’t you two friends? Why aren’t you defending him?"
"To be honest, we’re not as close as you think. We used to get along pretty well, but we had some disagreements and arguments, and we’ve grown distant."
Jenna Shaw nodded, seemingly accepting his explanation.
Clay Yates paused for a moment. "Do you want to get revenge on Walter Ford? I can help you."
"How would you help me?"
"We..." Clay Yates blushed, a shy expression that looked somewhat out of place on his rugged face. "We could pretend to be a couple. Walter Ford would be hopping mad. Since he dared to cheat on you, you should cheat on him right back!"
"Where did you learn that from?" Jenna Shaw asked, her expression unreadable.
Clay Yates unclenched his fist and admitted frankly, "On TV."
Jenna Shaw let out her first genuine smile of the evening. "You’re hilarious. Are you really just copying a plot from a TV show?"
"I thought it made a lot of sense. What do you think?"
"But I don’t want to do that. My grandmother once told me that every stage of life’s journey is unique. I don’t regret and I won’t deny the feelings I once had for Walter Ford. It’s just that my life has reached its next juncture now, and I have a brighter, more brilliant path to walk. The past is the past. I won’t stop or change my course for anyone."
Jenna Shaw said, "Thank you, Clay Yates, but Walter Ford isn’t worth the effort. I’m Jenna Shaw; I know how to move on. Love is love, but when it’s over, it’s over. I wouldn’t stoop to putting on an act for him, because from this point forward, his life and mine have nothing to do with each other."
Jenna Shaw raised her glass to clink against his. She finally smiled, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Let’s call this a celebration. A celebration for seeing the error of my ways and finding my way back!"
Clay Yates stared at her, utterly captivated, feeling his heart pound faster than ever before.

After a week of recovery, Naomi Kenway was finally allowed by Ethan Shaw to go out. While changing, she took a careful look at the scar on her back. It seemed to have faded a little, but a full recovery would likely take another month or two.
Naomi Kenway chose a dress that completely covered her back. She was heading out to resume the shoot for Rhys Quinn’s music video.
Naomi Kenway had been resting for a week because of the car explosion, and she was very grateful that Rhys Quinn had been willing to wait for her.
When she came downstairs, Naomi Kenway saw Ethan Shaw waiting for her. He was looking down, seemingly at the time, but the moment he saw her, the corners of his lips lifted slightly. "All ready to go?"
Naomi Kenway nodded.
"Let’s go. I’ll take you."
"You’re taking me?"
"Yes. I don’t feel comfortable with you going out alone."
When they reached the garage, Ethan Shaw casually picked a car. He watched Naomi Kenway’s expression carefully, only pulling open the door after making sure there was no fear in her eyes.
’The horrific, fire-engulfed scene was seared into Ethan Shaw’s memory. He felt immense pain every time he recalled it, to say nothing of how Naomi, who had been right in the middle of it, must feel.’
Ethan Shaw’s hand gripped the car door tightly, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
"Ethan..." Naomi Kenway gently pushed his arm. "What’s wrong, Ethan?"
Ethan Shaw snapped back to reality. Turning, he gripped Naomi Kenway’s hand tightly. He looked at the nearby housekeeper and asked again for confirmation, "Are you sure it’s been thoroughly checked?"
The housekeeper nodded. "Yes, sir."
Ethan Shaw got into the car first, scanning the surroundings meticulously. Only then did he open the passenger door.
"Get in, Nina."
