'Lord Alexander…'

Alex shifted a part of his attention to his vassals, observing the surroundings through their senses.

'I'm listening…' He prompted.

Having no trouble multitasking, Alexander reflected on the observation he had just made.

As he examined the major corruption points, he soon deduced the reasoning behind the actions of the corrupt Enforcers.

'The flow of time is slower in the lower regions, thus requiring more corrupted essence to achieve the same effect.

'Moreover, the lower regions of the multiverse are much more expansive than the higher regions.'

Initially, he had thought that the actions of the corrupted Enforcers were to weaken the barrier of reality and that of the Supreme One's.

That way, the more powerful void creatures would have an easier time slipping through the barrier into the multiverse.

And for the most part, Alexander was right. However, listening to what his vassals reported prompted him to think.

'The ongoing war between the Veilwalkers and void creatures isn't as intense as you witnessed before.' A vassal reported.

Through their shared senses, Alex confirmed as much. Many of the chiefs were simply observing as their subordinate Veilwalkers fought.

But more than that, the power of the attacking void creatures didn't see much of an increase. And the number of newly incoming void creatures had reduced… significantly at that.

'This makes no sense…' Alexander pondered after affirming the report and instructing his vassals to be on standby. 'You go through all that trouble to weaken the Omnisoul, and you don't send in the big guns?'

Ideally, sending in the big guns would put more pressure on the Veilwalkers and their vassals, allowing for more powerful creatures to wreak havoc through the multiverse.

This would inexplicably weaken the Omnisoul more than it already was, creating a vicious cycle of more and more destruction until the barrier was shattered completely.

But apparently, that wasn't the case.

'Something is going on…' A bit of unease grew in his being, an unpleasant one at that. 'That Monstrosity is awake, and would definitely want to grow as — shit!'

As the answers to his convoluted questions came to him, Alexander realised his narrowed way of thinking had cost the multiverse! Had he not limited himself too much, maybe he would have figured it out a lot sooner!

'Why target the limbs after breaking the armour, when the heart's right there?!'

The final confrontation was happening a lot sooner than he had anticipated. Almost immediately, all his bodies dissolved, as his main consciousness and self rose to the forefront.

'Everyone…!'

Alexander roared through the connection, his intent reaching everyone who wanted to be a part of the fight. 'Get ready, we're moving out!'

'Moving out? Alex, what's going on?'

Ross, who had been with his father's forces, swiftly appeared beside Alexander, who was already with Julia.

'It's the Cosmic Horror… That damned monster is probably aiming for the Omnisoul again!'

'!!'

Many of his vassals failed to grasp the weight of his words immediately. Luckily for them, Alexander had no trouble clearing the confusion.

However, as he did and prepared them for the fight ahead, his main self appeared in the void of the multiverse, his Paradoxical Presence causing the void to quake violently.

He withheld his existential presence as much as possible. Even so, the void continued to resist his existence, the quaking decreasing to sensitive levels.

As far as he could see, black and inky essence were replacing greyish-white threads. Alex turned his gaze in the direction of the strongest and most powerful universe in the multiverse — Universe Prime.

He had no doubt his reappearance had got the attention of the Veilwalkers across the multiverse and would be making an appearance.

However, before that happened, he disappeared, reappearing in the higher regions of the multiverse. Immediately after, the intensity at which the void trembled intensified several-fold… almost manifesting like rumbling sounds. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Almost…

Across all of Reality, every Veilwalker could feel the change in their surroundings, even those who had failed to sense his reappearance earlier.

Ignoring the resistance put forth by the Omnisoul, even if the resistance felt like he was moving through viscous tar, Alexander plunged a hand into the folds of the void.

"Lord Alexander."

Before he could rip the Veil of Universe Prime open, he sensed several presences appearing behind him. Without sparing a glance, he knew the being who called to him.

"Gather all your colleagues to the Boundary of Reality." Alexander informed the dragon as he opened the Veil, the essence within the universe gushing out. "We're running out of time."

His figure soon vanished before the eyes of the chiefs, many of them shocked at the effects his presence had on the void. But they were quick enough to understand what he meant.

"Is he saying what I think he did?" A colleague standing beside Drakmor whispered grimly.

"Are we going to ignore what he just did?" Another chief raised his point.

"That's pretty much obvious. The primordials can deal with him." Ignarok stated. "Our focus should be on doing what he says… and if those strangers are any indication, we can't afford to second-guess his words."

The chief fused with the void and disappeared, Drakmor and the others following his lead, leaving a few doubtful chiefs behind.

However, they too disappeared a few seconds later, sending out an SOS for all their subordinates to gather at the Boundary of Reality.

***

Appearing in the heart of Universe Prime, in the deep reaches of space and far away from the landmass and life forms, Alexander, cloaked in his armour and shrouded in a mystifying cloak that hid his features, unleashed a sliver of his existential presence, forcefully waking up every primordial in the realm.

"AH… THE CHILD HAS APPEARED."

An overwhelmingly powerful and profound intent spread through the surrounding space, like the universe itself let out a deafening roar.

"SUCH TERRIFYING PRESENCE!"

One by one, creatures and entities of old appeared around Alexander, their towering forms completely overshadowing his small figure and frame.

Here and there, essences of varying power, hues and properties shrouded the surrounding space for tens of light-years, further worsening the quaking of space.

The primordials surrounded Alexander from all directions, locking him in as they looked down on his figure with various emotions burning in the depths of their ancient eyes.

Some carried genuine curiosity, wondering why his presence continuously eluded them when he was right in front of them.

Others desired to know how he had achieved such strength, wondering if they could study him for answers.

A few looked at him indifferently, simply making an appearance because his arrival intensified the dull ache in their existence, even if it was by a tiny factor.

"Child, you finally show yourself." The Primordial Phoenix sneered, her intent worsening the strain on the surrounding space. "Already tired of hiding?"

"Why does your presence elude our senses?"

"You called yourself an absolute… Explain."

"For a child, your arrogance knows no bounds… To break into our universe in such a manner. Truly, you must be taught respect."

"For a mere human, your presence is overwhelming. How are you doing that?"

"..."

The questions kept coming... every primordial being interested in getting an answer to their query.

Alexander let out a tired sigh; the efforts the primordials put into pressuring his body did absolutely nothing… except for annoying him, of course.

He felt their desires mingling with their thoughts, pressing against his senses. They could not be more obvious.

"We're running out of time." He flatly stated, cutting off the rain of questions they threw his way. "Your strength is needed if we are to overcome this Reality's madness."

"Bold of you to ignore us, child."

Although they heard Alexander clearly, they didn't like how he ignored their questions to make his statements.

'Millions of years of slumbering have dulled their sense of danger.' Alex inwardly shook his head. 'But knowing what's probably going to happen, their strength will be beneficial.'

"You speak of the corruption plaguing Reality?"

One of the gathered primordials, the Primordial Spirit of Air Elementals — Sylph — ignored her companions and asked. The spirit resembled a shifting mass of air with no apparent features.

Turning around to face the Elemental Primordial, Alexander affirmed, "Exactly. My investigations into the corruption have revealed something that should have been obvious at the very beginning."

"With your strength, you should be more than capable of handling the mess, no?"

The Primordial Leviathan said in what sounded like mockery. "We primordials would simply get in the way… And I'm sure wherever Aurelionth is, the urgency should force him out."

'Aurelionth, huh.'

From the way the name echoed out unintelligibly, adding its own effects on the surrounding space, he was not meant to grasp it.

However, Alexander was able to make the connection, swiftly realising whose name that was. He had to admit, the name carried a lot of power, as simply hearing it made everything clear.

'Aurelionth… Aurelion… Aureth — The Breath Before All Things — The Supreme One.' The veil masking his name came undone as Alex saw through the truth of their words. 'A befitting name for the first divine being.'

But as amazing as the discovery was, the Supreme One should already be at the heart of Reality. His problem was getting there himself.

"You're right…"

Alexander's response, however, caused many of the primordials to narrow their eyes in a dangerous manner. Unfortunately for them, he was not done.

"You're all weak…"
