The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1418: Only Nathalie Has the Slowest Hands
Maxcel watched coldly as the girl deleted the Trojan he had planted, sneering with a look of disdain, and muttered softly, "I thought the woman Aiden was afraid of had some real skills, turns out she’s just a coward."
He most likely found Nathalie Quinlan’s reaction too uninteresting and simply averted his gaze, refocusing his attention on his own computer.
This final was purely about creating software.
Software is generally divided into several levels, from A to S, with each level being more advanced than the one before it, and the most advanced being the legendary S-Level Software.
However, this level of programming is extremely difficult. Even Maxcel himself wasn’t sure he could produce an S-level software in a short amount of time.
So he prepared an A-Level software for this competition.
An A-Level software is already a rare commodity on the market, more than enough to win this competition.
When he worked on something, he was very focused, at least more focused than he was privately, and in no time he had put all his energy into the programming.
The lens zoomed in on him.
Maxcel was fully absorbed, with hardly a hint of expression on his face, his hands moving swiftly, and an air of arrogance belonging to a top IT expert enveloping him.
The originally rowdy spectators in the stands were awed by his aura, falling completely silent.
Aside from Maxcel, the lens shifted to focus on the Hyperian competitor.
Compared to Maxcel, he appeared much friendlier, his single eyelid focused entirely on the software creation.
In front of the lens, his hand speed was also amazingly fast, unmatched by ordinary people, but compared to Maxcel’s, his speed was still a bit slower.
However, he had the advantage of being cunning enough.
When Maxcel was planting the Trojan on Nathalie Quinlan’s computer, he took advantage of the time they wasted and started programming early, currently having completed at least 30% of the project.
The lens panned around, showing that the only one noticeably slower was Nathalie Quinlan.
After she dealt with the Trojan Maxcel implanted in her computer, she calmly opened the compiler. Unable to use her right hand, she just used one hand, typing with her left, giving off a laid-back vibe...
She was remarkably composed! 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Offstage.
Sadam Vinson looked around, noticing Nathalie’s duckbill cap covering her chin, her unhurried demeanor making the veins on his forehead bulge in urgency once again.
"Isn’t Nathalie taking it way too slow?"
"Ms. Quinlan’s hand is injured after all, she can only use one hand, and it’s her left hand, which isn’t usually dominant, so it’s normal she’s a bit slow." Govert Griffin was also looking up at the progress on the competition stage.
The competition was ever-changing, not to mention this was an international expert-level contest.
He was afraid even a blink of his eye might miss a change in the situation.
He was watching the competition so intently, it was clear Nathalie’s hand speed couldn’t compare to the other two competitors on stage.
No need to mention measuring up to Maxcel, who had deliberately provoked them at the start of the competition.
Nathalie’s hand speed wasn’t even up to the level of the Hyperian competitor.
The current situation was not looking optimistic.
Sadam Vinson knew well enough that Nathalie’s situation was less than ideal, feeling as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, yet helpless: "...Even if Nathalie doesn’t come first, I’d prefer anyone else, what’s his name, Park, to come first rather than Maxcel!"
"The competition isn’t over yet, let’s just wait and see."
Brian Bonette always felt that Nathalie’s state on the competition stage was very much like when at The Ninth Institute, giving him an indescribable feeling, and he had a strong hunch that Nathalie would win.
Govert Griffin also agreed on the side: "Exactly, Mr. Vinson, the competition’s not finished, let’s talk after the software is completed."
Sadam Vinson clenched his fists, his gaze firmly locked on the competition stage, saying nothing more, unable to swallow his frustration.
