the two-faced Adopted Girl Who Melted CEO's Ice-Cold Heart-Chapter 975: Crystal Landon, Get Out of Class 5, Grade 12
After hanging up the phone, the dean of discipline walked in with a glowing face, looked at the group of little troublemakers, and smiled, "You guys can go back to class now. Oh, Crystal Landon, your family said someone will pick you up after school, so you can’t leave early."
Crystal, who was caught up with English words, was dumbfounded and asked, "Who’s picking me up?"
"It’s Balthazar Howard."
Bullshit. She groaned, burying her head in her textbook. The Howard Family had nothing to do with her, and the Landon Family had long stopped caring about her. Only Richard Shaw was in touch with Alaric and Balthazar Howard, and she felt doomed.
Her thousand bucks!
Ever since she planned to buy a house, Crystal had been strictly controlling her pocket money and even toyed with the idea of asking Hawk Howard to get her some racing gigs.
It’s just that, with Richard Shaw in the Imperial City recently, she didn’t dare make a move.
"Crystal, don’t be afraid. My third brother may have a foul mouth, but he’s kind-hearted," Nova Howard seriously comforted her.
Crystal just gave a wry smile. What’s the point of explaining to an airhead?
"Crystal, remember to find your brother for cover if anything happens in the future." Yeats Howard and Cassius Turner called out with grins as they headed toward the freshman class. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"Get lost!" Crystal rolled her eyes and coldly cursed.
Yeats deflated like a pricked balloon, while Cassius patted him on the shoulder and laughed, "Little Yeats Howard, her fiancé is Richard Shaw, do you dare flirt?"
Yeats shivered, quickly chickening out. This really messes up family order; he had to call Richard Shaw uncle. Damn. Having a lower status sucks.
When Crystal and Nova Howard arrived at Class Five of the third year, the first class had just ended. As they walked in, their classmates’ eyes focused on them, accompanied by whispers.
"So she’s Crystal Landon, huh? Heard she’s always fighting, clubbing, and messing around."
"Looks so seductive, no wonder she can’t get into college."
"Why let someone like her into our amazing class?"
"Guess her family is rich; didn’t you see she’s all decked out in name brands?"
"Get Crystal Landon out of Class Five."
"Yeah, out of Class Five."
"What nonsense are you all talking?" Nova Howard angrily walked up to the podium and said, "I’m telling the teacher you guys are badmouthing a classmate."
Sophia Winton stood up with a bang from her seat and sneered, "Always with the tattling, huh? Everyone’s speaking the truth. If you’ve got the guts, leave with her. Our Class Five of the third year doesn’t welcome you."
Sophia had been bested by Crystal twice before. Knowing they were in the same class now, she came early to spread rumors and reshape Crystal’s image.
She didn’t believe she couldn’t drive Crystal out.
Knowing she was about to be fined a thousand bucks, Crystal didn’t feel like talking all day. Looking at this group of childish classmates, her beautiful, seductive eyes squinted. When she was hanging out in Clear Creek Bay, these kids were still sucking on lollipops.
Casually tossing her backpack onto an empty table, she dragged the table to the back corner and coldly said, "You all know I have family backing and still dare to challenge me? Believe it or not, I’ll get the school to expel you."
"I saw her go into the dean’s office this morning."
"Me too. Seems like she really has backing. She never leaves any survivors."
"Forget it, just don’t hang out with her in the future."
Sophia knew the status of the Landon Family and Howard Family best. Seeing Crystal so ruthless, openly threatening her classmates, she sullenly sat down. If she couldn’t drive her out, she’d just isolate her.
