Chapter 963: Chapter 963: You Ugly Duckling, You’re Not Even Fit to Carry Pearl Landon’s Shoes

On the day before school started, Nova Howard invited Crystal Landon to go shopping for school supplies.

Crystal, having been cooped up at home for two days, was eager for a chance to rescue Nova’s clueless sense of style.

"Crystal, what do you want to buy? I’ll go with you. I want to buy dresses, bags, planners, and I also want to learn makeup," Nova babbled away like a little sparrow. Ever since Crystal had beaten up the Winton sisters twice, Nova idolized her completely.

After being awestruck by Crystal’s wardrobe last time, Nova decided she wanted one exactly the same, filled with beautiful dresses, high heels, and bags; having lived for eighteen years, this was probably the first time she realized she was a girl. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Crystal looked at her cute, charming little face and couldn’t help but pinch the bit of baby fat on her cheeks, half-closing her alluring almond eyes, she said lazily, "In love?"

Nova’s face instantly turned beet red, partly because of her words, and partly because Crystal, with her half-closed eyes, looked like an enchanting little vixen.

Every time she saw Crystal, she had the illusion that she was the one who wasn’t a girl.

"I’m just teasing you." Crystal glanced at her flat chest and said lazily, "Everyone has a different style. You can’t pull off that vixen look, just be your pure little apple self."

Crystal shook her head; what Nova really needed to buy was some intelligence. It was rare for the Howard Family to have such a fool. Alaric and Balthazar Howard always seemed sharp, Caspian Howard was aloof, not interested in socializing, and Hannah Howard was probably sheltered too much as the youngest daughter.

But then again, with the Howard Family’s matriarch being so elegant and shrewd, who would dare to bully the Howard Family’s little granddaughter?

The two wandered around, and finally, Nova bought several pink planners, only to run into their archenemies, the Winton sisters, burdened with shopping bags.

"Serena, I heard you guys caught Crystal at the club last time. She got a zero on her English finals, so she must be hiding at home, only daring to come out at night," a girl with a sharp chin sneered.

"That’s right, we called several people over. Crystal was so scared she cried," Sophia Winton bragged shamelessly.

"I heard Major General Shaw is back. Crystal must have embarrassed herself, and I bet Major General Shaw wouldn’t marry a brainless woman like her."

"Someone like her, marry into the Shaw Family?" Sophia said angrily. Her sister liked Clark Landon, but she herself had a thing for Richard Shaw. How could the Landon Family compare with the Shaw Family?

The girl beside her quickly comforted her, "Of course not, she’s not even fit to tie Sophia’s shoelaces."

Nova was already so angry she was rolling up her sleeves, while Crystal burst into laughter, walked over, looked at the somewhat stunned Winton sisters, biting her red lips, smiled and said, "Sophia Winton, my brother Richard likes women with big boobs. Do you even have boobs? Wearing push-up bras with a flat chest."

Sophia’s eyes instantly turned red, and if Serena hadn’t held her back, she would have charged.

"Crystal, I’m going to scratch your face today," Sophia said, her voice distorted with anger.

"Get her out of here," Serena, having been scared of Crystal, didn’t want to lose face in such a crowded mall, quickly ordered someone to take her sister away, and then said coldly, "Crystal, don’t get cocky. Pearl Landon will be back soon, and you’re not even fit to tie her shoelaces, you ugly duckling."

After cursing, Serena quickly ran away.

Crystal lowered her beautiful almond eyes, her expression somewhat blank.
