the two-faced Adopted Girl Who Melted CEO's Ice-Cold Heart-Chapter 902: My Wife Delphine
That night, Delphine stayed at the small villa, a two-story house surrounded by greenery in the front and back. The fence was covered with blooming flowers, and the roof was adorned with climbing plants. The lush green leaves and blooming wisteria decorated the old house like an oil painting with rich colors.
Delphine stayed in Ignatius Leclair’s room that night. The bed linens had been ordered by Arthur White in advance, and all daily necessities were provided. After taking a bath, she looked at the neatly arranged trophies and various certificates in the study cabinet. She opened the cabinet and looked at each trophy, as if getting to know Ignatius Leclair all over again.
From elementary school to university, there were so many that the cabinets couldn’t hold them all. When her gaze fell on a photo frame among the many trophies, Delphine’s fingertips trembled. She took down the photo frame placed amid the trophies, her eyes suddenly wet, and she laughed softly.
The photo in the frame was the only one of the two of them together. In the endless blue waters of Lake Pléist, the man had found a tourist to take a picture of them. She wore a handcrafted white lace dress, looking slightly uneasy at the camera, while the man leaned over to kiss her cheek.
She didn’t have a copy of this photo, yet Ignatius Leclair had somehow developed it and placed it here.
On the back of the photo, in pen, were four words: "My Wife, Delphine."
Delphine held the photo frame tightly against her chest, her eyes stinging slightly.
The next morning, Arthur White came over and said, "Mr. Leclair’s psychologist, Mr. Johnson, is currently on vacation, not in the United Kingdom. However, Mr. Johnson mentioned that Mr. Leclair was diagnosed with a brain disorder at fifteen, which then resulted in a split personality. The doctor said that Mr. Leclair’s dual personality is not opposing, and with effective treatment and guidance over the years, it doesn’t affect his life or career. The important thing is the brain disorder, and if any deterioration is noticed, he should seek medical attention early." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Indeed, it was at fifteen. Delphine nodded and said, "I’ll stay in the United Kingdom for a week. If there’s no news here, I’ll make a trip to Ireland."
She highlighted the last post the man made on his social account and said, "This post was made when he was fifteen, at Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. After that, he never used this account again. That year had a significant impact on his life, and the place might hold great significance. We can’t focus all our attention solely on the United Kingdom."
Arthur White’s sharp eyes suddenly deepened, and his gaze at Delphine subtly changed. He quickly said, "I’ll check all the information related to Ireland that Mr. Leclair has had over the years. By the way, I notified the headquarters of your arrival in the United Kingdom; everyone would like to welcome you. Miss Delphine, when would you like to visit the headquarters?"
"After returning from Ireland," Delphine said blandly. She wasn’t in the mood to visit the headquarters, with this matter weighing on her mind. If she found Ignatius Leclair, perhaps these tasks wouldn’t fall on her shoulders.
Delphine called Richard Shaw, but after a week, neither the Shaw Family nor the Leclair Family had made any progress. She felt increasingly compelled to go to Ireland while being at a loss in the United Kingdom.
A week later, Delphine asked Arthur White to book a ferry ticket to Ireland.
The limited information Delphine had was related to elk, and she planned to search the entire Wicklow Mountains.
After a day of travel, they drove to Wicklow Town and checked into the pre-booked hotel, arriving past midnight.
