Chapter 852: Chapter 852: Benjamin Is a Super Fierce Fighter

Delphine was in the rest area on the first floor. In June, the weather in the mountains was still cool and the air conditioning was off. The wooden doors at the front and back were open, allowing a gentle mountain breeze to pass through, making it quite pleasant.

Delphine was flipping through some books. Over the past few days, she had Arthur White bring lots of books. Even in the mountains, she didn’t skip her studies. Upon hearing Benjamin Leclair’s voice, she thought she was imagining it.

Ignatius Leclair was preparing lunch. He saw the little girl in a white summer dress with cherry patterns, hair styled in an adorable fishtail braid. She hadn’t grown any taller, remaining a tiny, delicate bundle, like a little butterfly, she fluttered into Delphine’s arms and sweetly exclaimed, "Mommy, Benjamin is here. Ooh, Benjamin missed Mommy so much."

The little girl didn’t glance at all at her tall and handsome daddy standing in the living room.

Ignatius Leclair was left feeling dejected.

Nicholas Carter lagged behind a step. The young boy was carrying his heavy backpack. This time for the mountain vacation, he brought every book he could, determined to study hard and not waste the summer holiday. Since returning home, Nicholas realized his academic progress was seriously behind, much lazier than when he was with Mommy.

The young boy decided to turn over a new leaf and stop spending his days playing around with Benjamin Leclair.

Delphine was taken aback by the little girl in her arms. Delighted, she gave the girl a kiss and said, "Benjamin’s here."

She looked back and indeed saw the silhouette of her eldest. She was immediately excited, wanting to pick up Benjamin but without enough strength. Thankfully, Benjamin was clever. Seeing that Mommy didn’t pick her up, she twisted her little body and clambered onto the soft hanging chair herself, curiously looking at it like a swing. Her short little legs swayed back and forth, eyes gleaming brightly.

"Mommy, uncle said we are going on a vacation in the mountains." Nicholas put his backpack on the floor beside him and ran over joyfully, sitting next to Delphine.

It had been a while since Delphine saw the two kids. At that moment, she showered one with kisses and asked about the other’s well-being. The mother and her children were happily reunited.

Mr. Leclair, thoroughly ignored, quietly returned to his cooking station to prepare the meal.

Arthur White and Maximilian hadn’t left either. With the young master and the little miss staying in the mountains, care had to be arranged. However, the wooden house was originally built for tranquility, with not many rooms—it had only three. In the end, neither of them stayed but rather reinforced the surrounding security.

The addition of the little ones made life in the mountains instantly filled with childlike fun.

Benjamin Leclair was a restless little girl. She had explored both floors of the house thoroughly and then placed all her little stuffed toys, including her bunny, big dog, and little tiger, in the living room. Nicholas also took out all his books. The once simple wooden house instantly became the playground of two little rascals.

Ignatius Leclair called the two little rascals over for a talk. Upon returning, Delphine noticed that the two little rascals looked at her with increasingly odd expressions, as if she were a fragile porcelain item.

"Daddy said, Mommy is the big baby and Benjamin is the little baby. The big baby is even more delicate than Benjamin, and Benjamin will protect Mommy in the future." Benjamin, like a tongue twister, finished speaking. The little girl clenched her fist, sneaked a glance at Ignatius Leclair, and whispered proudly, "Mommy, Benjamin is super fierce in fighting."

Nicholas beside her nodded continuously; indeed, Benjamin’s combat strength was formidable. No doubt about it.
